And so on. YES, the same club can post 800 times in a row AS LONG AS the same person isn't posting 800 times in a row. Any posts posted by the same person consecutively will not count.

So, how do we choose a winner from this? It's easy. I'm going to choose [before we start] a number. Let's pretend I chose 3. Every THIRD post counts as one winner post. Whoever ends up with the most winner posts.... advances to the next round. In my example up there, Sirius and Voldemort would both get one winner vote for being a third post. In round one we're looking for the top four Clubs.

Round Two:

Works the same as round one. Only difference is that we have far fewer clubs.

Round Three:

Has yet to be determined.

I will close the rounds at a undisclosed time. So, it could be any time. Also, I will be the only person to know what post number is the winner post number, so don't freak out when the mods and other admins play for their favorite clubs along with you guys. That makes me the only person ineligible to play. Sneaky, huh?

Questions I forsee you having:

What if I'm apart of several clubs? Well, play for your favorite or play for them all! It's really up to you. However, you may only have ONE club per post.

What if I accidently post two times in a row? It'll be okay. We won't hunt you down and eat you. But, it would be nice if you would edit the post for us to see, like: 'Ooops! Posted twice! Please delete!' That would be great and I encourage you to do that.

Is this for ALL clubs? No. This is for the FAN CLUBS only. Only the clubs that have threads or subforums within this forum are allowed to play.

What do the winners get? I'm glad you asked. Haha.

Winners!

Winners get a lot of great stuff. First , your entire club will get free icons/banners. Your club will also be supported by the admins and mods of SS by sporting those banners and icons as well! Don't tell the runner-up club, but they also have to support your club for winning for at least a week with those icons. hehehe. All in good fun of course. We're going to change the game in the Newbie Hut to the winning club's theme person and also we're working on getting a Top Banner proclaiming WHO is indeed the man/woman here on SS. And I saved the best for last. The winning club gets to ask for one prize. Anything that your club wants, within reason and SS Board Rules, we'll try to fulfill for you. Not a bad deal, eh?

We all hope to see you soon in Round One! Every club is encouraged to participate! It's really anyone's game...

Round One will begin... sometime this week. So be watching for it.

the LLFC are looking for 2 more officers to help make the LLFC a better and more loony place to be. So... if you are harworking, active and have real flare for looniness then simply PM these questions to either myself (I_am_the_hbp) or rose, (halfbloodprincess92) before June 7th.

Got a Wrackspurt floating inside your head that could be disguised as a story idea for a fan fiction? Is your quill trembling with anticipation as to what you’re about to write? Do you love reading, or better yet, writing fan fiction?

And most important of all: do you love the famous, lion-topped hat-wearing Ravenclaw that is Luna Lovegood?

If you answer yes to all, then welcome to the Luna Lovegood Fanclub’s (LLFC) FIRST LUNA LOVEGOOD FANFICTION WRITING COMPETITION!

The rules are simple:

Step 1 – Join the LLFC and become a certified Luna~tic!

Step 2 – Write an original, one thousand (1000)-word short story about any of the following categories:

A. Luna – The Early Years (pre Order of the Phoenix)

What was life like for Luna Lovegood before she knew Harry and Co.? It could be an incident from her childhood, or even the time when her mother was still alive.

B. Luna in the Spotlight

We now know that she’s one unique witch. Come up with a “missing moment from the Half-Blood Prince” story, or what sixth or seventh year will be like for her.

C. Luna’s Looking Glass

What’s a witch to do after Hogwarts? Write about what’s in store for our favorite Ravenclaw’s future.

Remember that all SS Board Rules apply. We are also following the SS Rules and Ratings Guidelines of Grimmauld Place (The SS Fan Fiction forum) so you if you need a refresher, read the guide first.

Other things to remember:

A. Only one entry per person.
B. Must be author's original work.
C. Indicate which category you are writing about.
D. NO PLAGIARISM!
E. No more than 1000 words or approximately two pages of your story.
F. The short story MUST be Luna related!

Step 3 – Submit your entries by posting your story in the LLFC Fan Fiction Competition thread. All entries must be submitted by August 4th, 2006.

Encourage SS friends to vote for your entry, then find out if you’ve made the cut!
