In your eyes

I look up from the table
and look over by you
you sit alone reading
you do not seem to care
you look over at me
our eyes catch for a moment

As I look in your eyes
I see mine reflected in yours
I see the dreams
that float through your mind
I see the magic
that works deep inside

Your eyes look deep into mine
you see what im thinking
you see my mind
you look through and see me truly
you see the light and the dark
fighting through me

People look on you
through their eyes
they see someone different
someone not their kind
they see the outside
the shell that sheilds your soul

Then you turn around
and the moment is gone
your sat back at the table
singing your song
the lion roars
the serpent cries
the life within dies.

She was called Luna

She was called Luna
Luna lovegood they say
She dreampt of magic creatures
she lived by her own way

She always was the one
who was always true to herself
the opinions of others
never got her down

They said that she would fight
for what she belived in
the truth that she seeked
drew her to the light

And now luna lives
she's lost her life
she lives all alone
alone in strife.

Unsuspected Admirer

I saw your blonde hair from across the room.
I was standing in a corner holding my broom.
You were sitting in chair flipping through your precious magazine.
I thought you looked more beautiful than any queen.
The deepness of your eyes made me want to talk.
But when I was near you, I couldn't even walk.
Your strangness and your beliefs are in my dreams.
When you commentate quidditch, it's odder that it seems.
Once you talked about the sky and even weather.
No one could ever put it any better.
Well, now I have to say goodbye for this time.
The Slytherin curfew goes till nine.

Ravenclaw; She must be smart.
Blue eyes that are dreamier than art.
Her sweet laugh is the last to die.
She's out spoken; she's not shy.

The yellow hair flies gently with the wind
The blue eyes look up to its twin, the vast sky
The chocolate-coloured corks drop to the ground
She kneels to pick it up,
anitcipating a cruel crush from a mindless student
But instead
A strong hand lifts her up
Picks the corks for her
And hands them over
Silently, the kind stranger leaves
But not before she joins him
She slips her hand in his
And she feels as light
as the vast blue skies above.

there is only one like her
her uniqueness echoes
across the world
everyone is different
but not as much as Luna
luna is the greatest

Disappear

Peaking from behind my Quibbler, I see him walk by.
He doesn't acknowledge my presence, but he knows I'm here.
I wish I could pluck up some courage and just say hi.
He leaves the room and before he returns, I'll disappear.

We like Luna
The reason we like Luna She is Crazy
Luna's like a big family
Luna's cool what will she do next
If you could care less
You are Loony yeah Luna rocks
Sing it today or you'll get dragon pox

She was walking down the street,
And thought she heard a buzzing.
"Oh a wrackspurt!" Said Luna,
Of the bug of brain fuzzing.

She clamped her hands over her ears,
And ran down the street,
Opened the door and ran inside.
"It missed me by two feet!"

But the buzzing still continued,
Luna looked around in wonder,
Searching high and low for it,
Over chair and under.

She looked in draw and on table,
Through gaps and windows too,
But the source of that buzzing,
She couldn't find, she had no clue!

She walked into the backyard,
And asked her Father dearest.
"Try the Attic, hun,
or the neighbours that are nearest."

She tried them all,
To no avail,
But this was Luna,
She would not fail,
To find the beastie,
Who made such a noise,
And went upstairs,
To search her toys.

There she found,
No clue or hint,
Yet the noise is getting louder,
And around the room she did squint.

Not in the toybox,
Or dressing table,
Nor in the bedsheets,
Came the sound with no label.

She scratched her head,
"What can it be?"
Her fingers touched something,
That could be a key.

On her head she wore,
A pretty spring hat,
Pinned with onion like bulbs,
She gave her head a pat.

But from her simple action,
The riddle was solved
For a bee was feasting,
On that onion like bulb.

"Daddy!" Yelled Luna,
"It's not a wrackspurt at all,
But a little bumblebee!"
Luna Lovegood did call.

So her mystery was solved,
Thanks to a pat of the head.
Not a fuzzing wrackspurt.
It was a bee getting fed!

Here's my first Luna Lovegood poem!

Luna Lovegood is my girl,
Some call her 'Loony',
That, makes me want to hurl.

Luna doesn't yell at them in rage,
She sits and reads The Quibbler,
Turning every page by page.

Luna has feelings to,
So stop calling her names,
Then, she'll want to be friends with you!

Luna walked alone
The hallway was cold with winter wind
She felt alone
No one to talk to, no one who cares

Luna sat alone
The Hogwarts bench was moist with dew
She felt alone
She shivered with a cold deeper than skin

Neville saw her alone
“Aren’t you cold outside, Luna?”
He knew the feeling
“Do you mind if I join you?"

Luna looked up
She smiled, grateful for the company
No longer alone
Sudden warmth made the coldness flee

Lovegood Luna.

Lovegood Luna, she sat in her chair
Luna Lovegood, she simply stared

Lovegood Luna could see things others couldn't
Luna Lovegood give in to being normal she would'nt

Lovegood Luna would simply smile
Luna Lovegood while they insulted her all the while

Lovegood Luna with passion and hope
Luna Lovegood would never sulk and mope

Lovegood Luna a friend for all
Luna Lovegood the one who stood tall

and i dont care

my name is luna but you dont care
u look at me as if im not there,
but i just smile and walk right past
my time has come , its come at last

i stand with hero's but i dont care
ther just friends standing there
they dont judge, unlike you
cos i am strong through and through

im different and special, so there
someone with her soul to bear,
so sit and laugh and you'll soon see
the girl, the woman i will be

i'll help my friends all the way to the end
on my life they can depend
so point and stare whisper if you can
because i dont care, i have no plan

huh?

Radishes, quibbler normal attire
loony luna sang in choir,
Werewolves, snifflers. read about them
daddy has a paper, arrives at ten
jeer and point, normal distractions
huh? thats my normal reaction
oblivous and unnerved thats me
now shut up im having my tea.

She did experiments
Until one blew

I was merely nine

Being shunned

Here's a poem I'm making up as I go

A Special Person For Me
They call my 'Loony' Lovegood
Not Luna like they should
If only they could all just see
How the teasing truly annoys me
But there's one person who truly will care
One person who will treat me just fair
I won't say who
Because I can't trust you
He holds a special place in my heart
Even whenever we are both apart
I want thim to know
I don't want him to go
But for now I'll just say
He takes my breath away
And he'll be more than my friend
