Pity, I can't find anything to rant about. I'll come back later.

I did pick them off and gave them to one of my carnivorous friends. But still. Trying to kick the habit and everything, and I rarely like my salad tasting of chicken.
And what's even more cause for boiling blood vessels at this atrocious occurrence - I don't know how often I've had to explain to people that vegetarians really do not eat chicken.
What on earth is that? Beef and pork are off limits, but poultry is A-OK? Please...
Same with fish, although that's slightly less ridiculous and a pretty common misconception.

Bleh. I need to get myself some stylish colour/font mix for my posts. With this standard stuff, they look so bland and boring, boring, boring. Which proves that looks don't always deceive

Anyway, that's it for now ladies and gentlemen. The bell tolls 1 AM, and my supply of tea is running out, taking my nocturnal energy with it. Good night.

Ah... yes... I see. Well, I'm a carnivore, but I sympathize.

One AM? You should get to bed. Erg... I can't stay up late tonight. I have school tomorrow. I should get to my french homework.... Why do I have to have a stupid professor!??!?! WHY!?!??!?!

Thank goodness I have flatmates that know french.

I went over to my friends house today, and their mother is my French teacher. I love French, but at our school in my grade there is 15 students who decided to continue on with french, because French is the nerd subject. =]

Fifteen students, and it's considered a nerd subject? Wow o.O

Let's see. We were eight in my Latin class, nine in Philosophy, six in Chinese, then nine again in Spanish and seven in Ethics.

Hahahaha. I don't think it would be so hard if my professor didn't suck. If she could explain it better.... but whatever. I've got to teach myself for the most part. I have french tomorrow at 9:30am... ugh!

Why did I sign up for this class again?

Oh, right, because I love language and wanted to learn something new!

Sign language just isn't enough. hahahaha.

Latin would be an interesting language to learn.

I've always wanted to learn Japanese. I was going to take it this semester, but the class was all full, so I opted for french instead like a stupid head... not because french is bad or anything, but because I got stuck with a stupid professor who couldn't teach her way out of the Chamber of Secrets....

Gir.

Well, it's the only thing I'm good at (more or less), so I'm putting as many languages in my head as I can so that I'm not completely useless.

[edit]
Also, Latin gets excruciatingly boring after a couple of years. And pretty difficult as well. The two best things I got out of it: A couple of friends I met in that course, and a trip to Rome! (That was great.)

And it made it much easier for me to learn other Romance languages because they are all built on Latin, so there are a lot of similarities in grammar and vocabulary.

Wow, Phil, you rock! I am trying to learn Spanish and then maybe I'll try French. I want to study linguistics but that is a few years down the road, yet, when I study Anthropology.

*sips cocoa* It is definitely chilly here I am wearing slippers and a sweater!

Oh, I would love to study linguistics! That's going to be fun, Kelly. Good luck with all that!

I actually went to french today! I was also thinking about dropping it, but then this boy who I had to partner with was like 'hang in there' and I remembered that I am a Gryffindor and we do not give up! So... I went to the language lab after class and did work for an hour and met this nice Japanese boy before going to Astronomy! So today turned out to be a good day despite feeling like I was going to die because my stomach was all crampy.

I would love to learn latin. The most I know I learned from choir... hahahaha.

Aria, don't give it up! Learning other languages will ALWAYS help you in "the real world". It looks good plus it gives you opportunities others won't have. Keep at it, and it will pay off in the end.

I almost forgot. I want to sign up for the Fanfic contest, but I did not see it. Is it called something weird or in a different forum or something?

EDIT#2: Nevermind, I found it. I'll get started on it right now.

I had a Japanese neighbor once...she tried teaching me but we moved...

Don't worry, Kell, I am a Gryffindor through and through! I will not give up! 'Never give up, never surrender!' hahahahaha. I love Galaxay Quest. Alan Rickman is too funny.

Oh, and I'm glad you found the thread for the FF Event! Yay! I can't wait to see what you wrote!

Don't forget everyone to submit your entries for the FF event before the 19th of September!!!!!!! Do NOT FORGET!!!!

Oh, Zyra! I love Japanese! You should learn it! I only know little bits and pieces, which sucks because I get in these moods where I just want to speak Japanese randomly but the things I want to say I don't know how so I just end up saying what I know... like... "I'm glad", "It's alright," "Amazing" and all the other sayings I know! hahahahahaha!

Daijobu!!!!!!!

Ja ne! I am off to do laundry with Jade and Newm! They are so scared of the basement. Hehe. We are going to dance to Arashi and watch Naruto and read fanfiction while the clothes wash and dry! hehe.

Ja ne!!! (for real this time)

I wish i could do Astronomy I was looking through all the pretercury's at our college for grade eleven and twelve (colleges in AUS are much different than everywhere else. Our University is like America's college and pretercery's are like before University subjects) and Astronomy wasn't there. Well it was, but it was "Astronomy and the atmosphere around us" which sounds pretty stupid to me, since i am going to ecology and atmosphere as well pfft.

I love French. Everyone should learn. we have 15 people who do French out of my grade and 6 others from the other grades. And next year we are going away to New Caledonia - a place where they speak French over-seas - and all my friends are jealous because they aren't going! Mwhahhahhaa!
- Which comes to, You should do French because it is worth while

And the Luna Loonies count is going ok. It will be up around monday, tuesday next week.

I submitted my entry but it was a lot shorter in type than when I wrote it on paper so I don't know. Hopefully, it's ok. I want to learn languages because Otty and I intend to travel a lot and if we ever decide to live overseas it will come in handy in helping me to get a job.
