I hope Luna is with Neville. But, it probably won't happen. Umm ... I just can't see Luna alone. But, other people might think she's lost her mind with all the stuff she thinks are true. So, if she isn't with someone like herslef in a way, I think she'll be alone. | |

I can't see Luna alone, but how I picture alone is different. Alone you're picturing is boyfriendless. MY alone is friendless. Ginny and Harry will always be there for her. Neville too, maybe. But in a strictly friends way. | |

Despite what Jo said, which is totally canon, and I respect that, about Neville ending up with Hannah and how she runs the Leaky Cauldron and he's the Herbology professor I will always imagine that Luna and Neville ended up together.
I know, I sound like an H/Hr shipper  I respect what she said, but I don't see it. Sorry no. Ernie and Hannah *fires the cannons* and Luna and Neville just kept coming together so often ... I mean c'mon ... it's not like Harry and Hermione were they were just friends even though that's exactly what Jo said.

I never thought of Neville and Luna being together while reading the books. Luna has this amazing unique attitude, thats sooo different! And Neville is just kind of a shy guy, who needs to find his inner Gryffindore!
Plus, if they were together, it would just be too perfect!
I mean Hermione Ron (my favorite), Ginny Harry, And Neville Luna!
That would mean the whole group was together... Its just not real...

I rad fan fictions all the time and stuff and they all these people getting together, and it is just way to right, and it gets all to boring and i always stop reading it and stuff.
I think Luna and Neville with Rolf and Hannah is all too happy as well, but in some way, it seems to be just right, i love what JKR has done with them  | |

Okay, okay, Ill forget the 'Confirmed by JK Rowling' bit here and just chat about what i think would have happened before JKR confirmed it.
Tbh, like JKR, I dont hink that Neville and Luna would have ever gotten together. They just dont really fit, and they have nothing in common. I never thought that they would have ended up together.

When i first saw the relationship developing between Luna and Neville i thought it was a match made in heaven!!!
But the more i think about it i dont think it will happen...
Luna and Nevill would, i think, want different things after Howgarts; Luna would want to explore the world and live a life with seemingly no limits whereas Neville would want to settle down, (Much like the trio and Ginny) get a steady job and 'Live happily ever after'!
I just cant see Luna wanting the same things... Not immediatly after Hogwarts anyway... If they were both still single after a few years then why not...

Luna and Neville do seem like the perfect couple at first glance, but now we know that they did not get together. In a way, I think it's better for both of them, because their lives are more enreached by the people they did end up with in the long run. I'm sure Luna and Neville always remained the best of friends, though! | |

i used to think luna nd neville were meant to be together but then there was nothing between them in any of the books.j.k informed us neville ended up with hannah abott.after the last book i think luna and dean will be together. | |

I think that Luna was kind to Neville because of their similarities, but I never thought they would get together.
Luna doesn't look like the kind of person who wants to settle down early in life, I don't even think she is looking for love. I think that she wants to just live life, have adventures, have friends and be happy with that. I think she would take up trying to prove that the creatures she believe in exist and introduce them to the world. Love and marriage would come later!
Neville, on the other hand is very shy and I think that he would go for someone who is just like him; and shy is not Luna!
We've seen that they both end up with different people, which isn't a bad thing. I think that they were all best friends and kept it that way. | |
