Be mindful when you wander near this guy, this tree’s not to be messed with, my friends. Watch your step and try to remain at least a safe distance away. That way, you won’t get hurt. Smart, right? (I know you know that it’s smart. Admit itt.) However, be sure to bask in the glory that is the Whomping Willow, just be safe about it.

Camira walked over to her long time source of amusement - the Whomping Willow. She leaned against a near by and far less dangerous tree and looked at it. "Alright then, are you? Haven't killed anyone yet, I see. I think you're getting soft." Oh God. She was talking to a tree. She was becoming as mental as that girl she'd met in first year. The one that had ended up hugging the blasted thing. Though, she supposed, the tree was probably Slytherin. 'Camira, you're not making any sense. It's a bloody tree', she thought to herself. Yep, she was definitely turning mental.

Yes. This was better, a bit quiet. Just what she needed right now. To enjoy the sight of Hogwarts from an open space. Kaika noticed a girl talking to a tree, something she'll probably never do, but one can never say never, right?

She chuckled silently at that odd sight and sat on the ground with a book in hand. She was more than happy to be back, or to be more exact, to have Hogwarts back.

Emily tore her eyes away from the willow on hearing a very familiar voice. She had to repress a giggle when she saw who it was. “Camira Yaxley. Are my eyes deceiving me? You're talking to a tree now?” she asked cocking an eyebrow as she looked at the girl. Camira didn't need to know that Ems had just said hello to it... and called it 'Mista' of all things.

“Long time no speak.” she said with a warm smile, beckoning her over to where she was sitting with Henry. Emily couldn't even recall seeing the girl during the short time she was at Belles last year. “How are you?” She asked. In fact, the last time Emily had seen Camira, she had been in a right state emotionally. Hopefully time had been a healer.

Camira noticed a Hufflepuff girl that looked about her age in the area out of the corner of her eye. She was looking at Camira...and laughing? The nerve. She couldn't believe this girl had the audacity to laugh at a Yaxley. She gave the girl a quick glare before pulling out her advanced potions book.

Camira blushed a bit when she heard Emily's familiar voice. "I was teasing it a bit. You know how I like riling it up", she mumbled defensively.

She loosened up a bit as Emily smiled at her and got up and walked over to her. "I'm not too bad. I was gone last term... family business", she said vaguely, knowing that Emily would understand. "What about you? How have you been? Anything new and exciting?"

A glare? What was that about? It had to be a Slytherin she thought, even if she knew better not to judge, this was a different occasion, it was alright to do so at this point.

What Kaika didn't know is that her eyes were narrowing slightly as she looked at the girl, she sighed and looked somewhere else, it wasn't worth it. Besides, she had that Quidditch book at hand, she should be reading it, right?

Xehanna walked up to the tree and looked around for people. perfect no one she waved her wand at the tree. it froze and she walked down the path into the corner where she always sat when she wanted to be alone. this time she just wished someone would stop sending her those letters. she sat and began to think.

Demetrius was walking around and from far away he saw a tree, a willow tree moving. How unusual. As he walked closer to admire such an amazing treat of nature, his eyes widened, "Huffie girl" he thought, with a smirk on his face. He remembered when he met her and went over to where she was seating.

"It's you!" he exclaimed, as soon as he was next to her, "I'm a Slytherin, you see?" he said, pointing towards his robes and then his eyes fell on the book she was reading, "What's that you're reading?" he asked, curious.

Camira was shocked to see the girl glaring back at her. Who did she think she was? This would not do at all. "Ems, I'll be right back", she said, getting up. She starting walking briskly towards the girl. "Got a problem, do you", she said nastily. And then...


The tree froze. Saying it caught her in surprise would be an understatement. She stared at it blankly for a moment, forgetting what she was going to do before. Then, she saw a Slytherin girl sitting by the tree. "Oi. Did you free the tree", she asked a bit harshly.

"excuse me? oh im sorry." Xehanna looked up and noticed a fellow slytherin hovering above her. She stood up and brushed her pants off. "of course not. i just froze it for a second so i could get down here. it should be moving again." Xehanna said rubbing the golden locket hanging loosley from her neck "just out of curiosity how did you get down here? nobody was supposed to see me do that" Xehanna was getting nervous again and she could feel her eyes turning deep purple.

Kaika had gotten so involved in her reading that she didn't notice the boy next to her until he exclaimed something inaudible to her at this point. She almost jumped and closed the book, mostly out of habit. Oh, it was him, what was his name again?

"Clearly, it is me" she said, "Umm, sorry, but what was your name?" she asked, it was weird, Kaika usually had a good memory when it came to names, unless the memories where connected to a tackle somehow. "I guess it's what you wanted, right, congratulations are in order" she said, slightly bored, if she had gotten into Slytherin she wouldn't be too happy about it. Good thing she didn't, though.

Kaika rolled her eyes, "It's a book about Quidditch" she said, and forced herself to nod.

She couldn't help to do so, but a smirk showed on her face. Geez, Slytherins were easy enough to provoke, weren't they? "Actually..." she started to say, "...I don't, it seemed you were the one who did" considering she was the one glaring at her first.

It wasn't until now that she'd noticed she was pretty much amongst Slytherins. Not good, especially since she was trying hard to avoid them. Being unsuccessful at it, obviously.

Emily grinned knowingly and nodded. “Course you were.” she said slightly sarcastically. Kate would just love this.

“Family business. Right.” she said, understanding what Camira meant. “I wasn't here last year either. My father's been a bit ill. I had to stay with him for a while.” Albeit, rather grudgingly so. He was hell to be with when he was going through one of his low spells. But; he was his old self again, back to his miserable self. With any luck he would stay in that state for a while, but his illness was kind of unpredictable.

And then the tree stopped moving. She frowned and looked over at the little girl who appeared to be responsible. If anyone hurt her Mista Willow, they would have the wrath of Emily Greenwood to deal with. She watched curiously as Camira addressed the girl.

"Come on! How could you forget?" he said, slightly annoyed by that, "It's Demetrius, Demetrius Colt" the way he pronounce the words were almost as if he was talking to a hearing impared person, just to make sure she'd never forget the name again. Come to think about it, they'd only met once, and it was for a few minutes, so names could be forgettable by far.

"I do remember yours, Kaika" he said, one of fingers came to his forehead and tap on it once, "Good memory" he said, smiling. "Thanks, it was what I wanted, of course" it was the house where everyone in his family had belonged to, except for his older sister.

"Quidditch? Awesome! But what's the book about?" he asked, but his curiosity for the book was lessened by the curiosity of the new girl who walked towards her, a Slytherin too.

"Ems!" Lucas shouted as he ran down the slope toward his aunt. He was running at full speed when he crashed into her. He jumped up into her arms and hugged her tightly. "How did you get here?" He asked holding on to her.

Camira looked up at the tree. It was still frozen. "Blimey, I think you killed it", she said seriously. She was sure the tree was fine, but the girl probably didn't know that. "Oh, and I didn't see you freezing it. I just noticed it was frozen and started looking around. Besides, I'm a fourth year. I pretty much know this place inside out, including the more...secluded area", she said, giving the girl a look.

Goodness. Now she was smirking at her. That's it. This girl was going on her list.

"Oh no. It was definitely you that had the problem. If I remember correctly, you seemed to be laughing at me, a Yaxley. Of course, maybe I'm mental. Maybe you'd like to set me straight", she said dangerously. "I doubt you could though. Inferior being. I doubt you're a pureblood. You obviously lack the manners. What are you then? A mudblood?"
Camira gave a little grin to Emily as she saw her scoop up her lizard. Emily knew what she was like. She wondered if Ems would provide back-up if needed. Times like these she wished Scarlett was still around.

Xehanna walked out of the pathway and looked at the tree. it was still frozen. she walked far enough away, dragging the girl with her, where the tree couldnt get her, took out her wand and waved it at the tree. it began to move again. look. i didnt do anything to it. i think you might want to read some more hogwarts: a history or maybe a care of magical creatures book. it helps when you need to know this stuff. Xehanna could feel her eyes turning red and could tell she was about to be out of control. she grabbed the locket around her neck and rubbed it slowly feeling her self cool down. she shot the look back at the girl and walked away.
