Welcome to the Swimming Rock. In the spring and summertime, the water is just fine to dip your feet in. Come on! Jump on in and got for a swim! In the winter, the water freezes over and is perfect to skate on. There is no “lifeguard” at all times, so use at your own risk.

Travis hummed his way to the Swimming Rock, lost in thought. He found himself a nice patch of grass near the crystal-clear water and sat, his legs crossed indian-style.

He remembered the swimming rock at Cooper's the term before. Irial use to go there... He took a deep breath and let it out real slow, carefully changing the path that his thought were going. His light gray eyes went down to a small thin scar on his left wrist, were it had been cut by Irial's small sharp blade. Travis shook his head, remembering the transformation perfectly, and then look down at himself, making sure his glamour was on.

Suddenly wondering where his other best friend was, he looked around the Rock, hoping that Caitlin would just appear in front of him. He smiled slightly, remembering her light brown eyes...

Biff checks out the swimming rock.

Livvy looked around cautiously and then grinned. She walked towards the swimming rock and sat down next to it, keeping distance from other people that had come to enjoy the rock too. Livvy pulled out a sketchbook and began to sketch the lake.

Xehanna looked around at the people at the swimming rock. 'A perfect place to think and write' she sat down on a rock overlooking the swimming hole. she put her ipod in her ears and took out her notebook. blanking, she rubbed the locket around her neck thinking of what to write.

Biff keeps looking around the swimming rock.

Freya made her way over to the swimming rock, being very careful not to slip into the water. She spotted the boy from earlier, 'Doesn't seem to be doing much does he?' she asked herself, 'He needs a hobby.' "Hey," Freya said to Biff, "You know, you should really try to start a conversation with someone and not just go around asking everyone's blood status. Maybe you'll start to enjoy yourself more. Don't think I'm trying to be rude or anything, but that's just my opinion." Freya said as she picked a spot on the rock to sit down, and looked over the ever-so icy water. It really was very pretty.

To be perfectly honest, Willow didn't like outdoors so much. She hated outdoors, to be more precise. Animals, plants, and such were a big no no for Willow. So if she hated all these things why was she in the Swimming Rock? Why was she on a place that was most likely the place of many, many bugs? Not to mention that there was a huge possibility of getting wet. With the water, and all... A slight trembled escaped from her. The only thought of falling on the water right now made her shiver--it wasn't looking exactly warm. More like the complete opposite, to be honest. The thin layer of ice told the fourteen year old that much.

Sigh. Stupid feet of hers. Trust them to dragged her to a place like the Swimming Rock. They seemed to have their own mind half of the time. And it certainly did not help that Willow possessed the ability of getting distracted fairly easily.

... Like now, for instance.

So immersed on her own thoughts the young Ravenclaw had been, that she had not noticed that both of her feet had dragged her to a spot that w as already taken by someone. Blinking her forest green eyes a little as she snapped back to reality, Willow looked up and realized that the person beside her was a male.

Was it just her or the males seemed to be taking over the school? Huh.

It was then, after been staring at the boy for more than necessary, that he brunette realized he looked familiar. Very familiar, as a matter of fact. Hmmmmm... Her tilted to the side in curiosity just as both of her eyebrows pulled together slightly, deep in thought...

Oops. Too much staring, soon Willow realized.

Taking her eyes off the boy, she focused on the icy water.

Livvy was just staring out into the lake when she heard a familiar voice. She grinned as she recognized who the owner of the voice was. As Livvy turned around, she saw Freya suggesting some kid to start up a conversation. Livvy grinned and walked towards her and plopped down next to Freya. "Hey Freya," she said.

"Oh!" Freya said in slight surprise. "Hi, how's life treating you? I've never been happier myself." She finished as she moved a bit farther away from the waters edge.

" Biff says " Thank you" to Freya. " I have been really working on not asking anyone if they are pureblood or not" Biff told her quietly.

"Well, that's a good start." Freya said as she turned back to the lake, jumping slightly as she once again saw a large swell appear on it's surface, where ice had not formed just yet.

Allie took a wonder down the Lake.School Term.., Yay! She thought,with a smile.She was glad to be back,all in all.She missed hogwarts everytime she left for the summer break

All the moving and stuff,she must have had bruises from everything she tripped over or banged into .Her and her parents had moved house.To somewhere more suttle,more quiet.Though that wouldnt last with Allie living on the Block

Biff sees a girl at the swimming rock thinking but not doing anything. She is pretty. " Penny for your thoughts?" Biff asked her.

Allie jumped out of her skin and nearly fell at the sound of the boys voice.Allie turned on the spot and looked at the boy who talked to her."Pardon?"she said,smiling,while steadying herself

Xehanna jumped at the sound of another voice. "Excuse me?" Xehanna had a confused look on her face. "you would pay to know what i was thinking about?"

Melinda walked in the swimming rock grounds. She had missed swimming, from a long time she had not, not even her last summer. She sighed and took off her top clothes to show a decent and cover-it-all swimming suit. She was being somewhat of a shy kid this days. She slowly put her feet into the water to try how cold was it. She stood up again and with just a breath, she jumped in, deep inside the water.

The mountains exhaled a cool wind through Lola's curls, causing her to angle her head upward with a curious expression on her soft, pixie-like features. It wasn't a smile, but it wasn't rebuffing the chill breeze. Tolerating it, more like. Her boots sank into the ground, permeable from a recent rain, and it wasn't dry enough for her. The Slytherin's nose twitched. "A gray September afternoon," she narrated in a whisper that could easily file after the wind. "Unassuming, unexpecting, and....." her sigh crated a little fluff of steam in front of her pale lips. "...Bored. We all have our low points," she murmured, taking a deep, intoxicating breath of Hogwarts air.

Hogwarts air. Streaked with grass that had never seen the blades of a mower and heather. The grounds were where the young actress felt most alive. The indoors were preferable to her, as they were more civil. This morning, this fine morning, Lola was called by something mystical to go out. To breathe this air and maybe become inspired. Her feet led her to the swimming rock, an act that she considered a work of fate. It was enough to pique Lola's interest.

Strumming a stray lock of hair away, her brown eyes danced across the layers of greenery that painted the landscape. The sky was a bleached smear, peering through the corroded treetops. The water was still, its sway, its heartbeat was stopped. "Frozen," Lola remarked, peering toward a boulder that jutted inland. Magentized toward it, she flitted over. There were people present. She handed out a half-smile, half Slytherin smirk, crossing her slender arms across her chest. Pale, almond-shaped nails peered out from her gloves, which were uniquely fingerless. As to why, Lola had simply thought, Why not? this morning.

What did she feel like doing? Flirting just to flirt. Lola examined her soul, she meditated over it, and no, she didn't feel like flirting. Although, that boy there, with the Ravenclaw who wouldn't share her soup was suspicious. He glittered like a warning sign. Lola's pulse quickened as she recognized him as her solicitor at the pub. Mannerless. Yet, oddly intriguing. Averting her eyes from him, Lola fluidly lowered herself on the rock, her mind very blank.

"Hello," she spouted, a spur-of-the-moment feeling to the older girl. She was a chatty one, with a magnetic personality. Everyone seemed to be talking to her. "I don't believe I met you yet," her smile continued until little dimples were carved into her translucent cheeks. "Lola, Lola Demesne." Aspiring actress. The next Audrey Hepburn. The daughter of renowned Pierre Latiffa. But why push things?
