Fenced in by a white picket fence are half a dozen or so juicy looking pumpkins. Some are rather small looking, still growing, and others appear to be fully sized. Mr. Masterson is unsure of what to do with these babies, so he's opted to keep them here for show-off purposes until he finds out something productive that can be do to make these pumpkin's useful.

Perhaps a pie...

Lucas wondered down to the grounds of Hogwarts. It was almost as big as the garden at his house. It was really nice. His little eyes spotted a pumpkin patch and he squealed in delight! Pumpkins! He wondered over to the fence and stuck his hand through it to rub the smooth orange skin. Orange was such a pretty color, he thought to himself.

Rian walked down to where she saw a big orange patch. Pumpkins, she told herself. She walked down and saw a boy there. She giggled to herself as she once again realized that she was unusually short for a third year. She stepped up next to the boy and said, smiling, "Hi, I'm Sahrina," she looked back at the pumpkins and reached her hand through the fence to rub a finger across one.

Xehanna walked up to one of the birds sitting on a pumpkin. she fed it some bread and walked over to her cat, who was chasing the birds away. "Melvin, stop chasing the birds you silly kitty." she laughed and lightly rubbed his long black body.

"Hellp Lucas how are you?" asked Jose.

He turned around when a older girl talked to him. "I'm Lucas, Lucas Greenwood." He said to Sahrina. "Hi Sahrina." He said nicely.

Lucas looked up at the sound of his name. "Hi Jose," he said rightly as he pulled his hand back through the fence and stood up. "How are you?" He asked him.

The moment Nancy was outside of Hogwarts she started running around without knowing where. What was wrong with her? Why had she lied at Camira? It wasn't that it was important what she thought, right? Right? And why had she left her kitten in the Common Room?
Trying to get rid of all these questions inside her head she stopped at looked at where she stood. Her legs had brought her to the Pumpkin Patch. She couldn't remember having ever been here but it was probably a pretty nice place to pull herself together and sort her thoughts out. Nancy slowly sat against the trunk of one of the nearby trees and looked at the sky. Why did everything have to be so difficult?

The Pumpkin patch was not a place where Miles expected to be. Mainly because ... pumpkins. They didn't really appeal to him that much, they were just big, orange, and there. But, the sudden happiness of Hogwarts coming back made him wonder nearly ALL of the grounds. Good exercise even if it did sound boring. Plus, if he was allowed to, he could try one. It could be nice. Right?

So, with slight hunger in his stomach, he strolled down to the Pumpkin patch. Or, from where Miles was standing, it looked like a big orange area. Cool. Upon walking past one pumpkin, there was a girl sat on it. Was she allowed to do that? Wait ... What was he on about? For the last ten minutes, he'd been wasting his time thinking what he was allowed and not allowed to do. Who cared? Be a rebel Miles.

He sat down on a pumpkin close to the girl, although it was quite sticky. Ugh. Hopefully bits of pumpkin wouldn't rub off on his trousers. He put his hands in his pockets and scanned the area. It seemed as though people thought the same about the Pumpkin patch as he did. Orange, a tad smelly and ... sticky.

Hayden wondered the gorunds a bit until she stumbled, lietrly over a rock, upon a pumpkin patch. She smiled and thought of the endless possibilities the pumkins could be used for. Halloween or maybe a pie. Possibly just for decerations.

Xehanna looked around the pumpkin patch looked in every nook and cranny. her long golden brown hair kept flying in her flawless face and so she pulled it into a neat pony tail not missing on cury strand and kept looking and meowing. "Melvin, here kitty kitty."

Rian smiled and nodded. "Nice to meet you Lucas, are you a first year?" she asked. She'd never seen him before, and he didn't look older than her. "Oh, just call me Rian," she added, "Sahrina's what I'm called when I'm in trouble. And it's too...formal."

He sat back down on the ground he was tired and he had been going all day long. He patted the ground next to him to invite his friend to sit down next to him. "Yes, this is my first year at Hogwarts. But I know loads of magic already. My mommy and daddy taught me." he told her with a nod of his head. "You can call me Luke if you want to. Its shorter than Lucas. I don't mind whichever one you want to call me." He pratted on. "What year are you?" he inquired after her.

Rian smiled and sat down next to Luke. "Alright, Luke it is then," she replied. She listened as he talked about already knowing magic and nodded, "That would've been cool to know magic before school, my mum's a witch, but she wouldn't teach me." she shrugged and started playing with the grass. "I'm a third year, Ravenclaw," she told him.

He wiggled over to give Rian some more room just in case she didn't want to be so close to him. "Well I got my wand when I was 6 so I got to learn lots of magic. We used to live with muggle, but we moved away so we could all do magic and not get caught." He told her. "I'm in Slytherin." He told her with a smile.

He turned to the girl that sat next to him. "Hi I'm Lucas, Lucas Greenwood." He said to Jenn

Rian nodded when Luke was done telling her about his wand. "That's pretty cool," she replied smiling. "Oh, Slytherin?" she asked, "I only know a few Slytherins," she told him.

She smiled again when Jenn sat down and introduced herself to Lucas, "Hey Jenn!" Rian exclaimed.

"Yep we have a green common room and everything." he told her with a smile. "Well now you know me so that makes on more Slytherin." he said with a giggle

"Thank you. I really like my name." He told her with a nod. "My mommy named me." he announced. That was very important.

Rian made a over-exaggerated checkmark in the air and smiled, "One more," she repeated, a laugh escaping through her lips. "Greens a nice color." she said with a nod. But I like blue, she added inside her head good-naturedly.
She smiled as Jenn and Luke talked, then giggled slightly as Luke announced his mother had named him.
