As you walk down a path that leads in the general direction of the Forbidden Forest, you come to notice a small and homey hut off to the side. With a flower garden at the base on one side, a nice seating area on the other, and an attached shed at the back, the hut looks as inviting as can be. Welcome to the groundskeeper’s home.

Inside is just as welcoming with a small kitchen and a nice seating area, complete with warm fireplace (always a plus in the winter!). On the mantle rests pictures of Neo’s family and best friends, Caleum and Madison. Off to the side of the fireplace is a wall dedicated to a bookshelf and that, in turn, is FULL of books. Every subject imaginable is in his personal library and he can often be caught in the middle of a book if you ever knock. Also, there’s a nice little desk off in the corner of the room and it is usually littered with papers. If you take a closer look, you’ll notice that the papers are actually sheet music.

Come on up to the door! Knock on the door a couple of times and see if he’s in. If he doesn’t answer, then that usually means he’s out and about on the grounds tending to them and making sure that the students aren’t disrespecting them. So, come for a visit or even just stop by to say hi; Mr. Masterson won’t eat you.

No guarantees though.

Barry was here he really hoped Neo allowed it or he would have to visit the head of house and he didn`t want to try Vindcus he`s much harder then neo

Barry saw Neo come from where ever he had been he said "Um sir my ah birthday is coming up and well I want to have ah party and well the grounds is a great place for that and seeing as your groundskeeper I thought it right to ask before I put up decorations and things so um can I use maybe the area around the acorn tree?" he couldn`t look at neo for this he stared at his feet and waited for an answer. He expected no but he had come prepared for that

Rian strolled down to the hut, wondering if anyone would be there already. She'd never met the groundskeeper, and she figured anything would be better than last year's. But when she reached the hut, she saw that the groundskeeper was with Barry. She stood by patiently, not wanting to inturrupt, and hoping that the groundskeeper would have time to chat. And she hoped she would find out his name, so she could stop thinking of him as 'The Groundskeeper'.

Considering she was close by, Kaika decided to walk towards the Groundskeeper's hut. She'd heard about him, but didn't really know who he was, except that he was the one who kept throwing acorns at the welcoming feast, but who knows? It may come in handy one day to actually meet the guy.

She tapped on the door, waiting for a reply.

Rian looked up, a bit startled, when he adressed her. "Oh, well, I just thought I'd come here and meet you, you know, since I haven't," she smiled nervously. She didn't want to be a pain. "That is, unless you can't...or don't want to...I can come back later, or...something, if that's better..." She blushed as she realized she was acting like a fool, so she smiled more genuinely at the Groundskeeper.

Kaika nodded and watched as the other girl pretty much said what she was going to, "Well, it's almost the same reason" she began, "I'm kind of making...rounds...and meeting the ones I couldn't meet last term" for obvious reasons.

She smiled, "I'm Kaika Lockhart and I assume you're Mr. Masterson, right?" she said, should she actually ask him? Sure, what's the worst that could happen? That he'll throw an acorn at her? "I saw you when you were at the Staff Table" as she was looking for the unfamiliar faces, "And I noticed something...I'm just curious...but, what's the deal with the acorns?" yep, she couldn't help to ask.

Barry nodded "Fine sir I understand well um see you around" he said and he started running towards the room of requirment

Molly made her way from the pumpkin patch over to the groundskeepers hut. She climbed the few steps and gently knocked on the door. As Molly patiently waited to see if there would be a response, she let the rays of the sun blanket her in their warmth.

Cela blinked; she could hear several voices and see other students waiting to speak with the groundskeeper. Oooh well she didn't mind waiting. She could entertain herself fairly well.

She jumped up on the steps leading to the hut and began to skate from one end of the step to the other and jumping off at the end before turning around, jumping back up and skidding along the step once more. The sticky part on the heel and the tip of her shoes allowing her to brake while the slick surface on the ball of her foot let her slide along as if on ice.

Yeah thats right; she still loved her glisseo shoesies- but these babies were mark two and she was getting her skate on.

"No no, now is fine," he chuckled, slipping his hands into his pockets and straightening up. "I'll probably be doing lots of grounds work and going after children who break the rules, so later won't be as good." He smiled gently and sighed at the thought. "So, you wanted to meet me, so you introduce first. Who are you?"

"Hmm, I wonder why you couldn't meet them last term," he chuckled softly again, before pulling himself together to answer her question. "That's right, I am Mr. Masterson...." he faded off as she asked her next question. He replaced the silence with a smile, a rather daunting one at that, "dear child, if I told you that, I would have to obliviate your mind clean. Some questions are better left unanswered."

"Hellooo," Masterson called to the new visitor at his door. What was with all the ladies visiting? Not that that was a bad thing, it was just weird to be in the presence of so many ladies at the same time.

Masterson's eyes turned to look at yet another arrival (another female), but he raised an eyebrow at the antics she was showcasing on his front step. These children sure were odd...

"Uhm...Hi," he called to her, watching her as she slid from side to side of his step. "May I help y- what are you doing?"

Cela whirled around mid-slide and came to a halt teetering slightly on the edge of the stair for a moment before getting her balance and staring up at who she could only assume was the Groundskeeper.

"Uhm...Hi." she mimicked, unintentionally using the same words and tone. "Ooh, yes well you- err," Cela paused and blinked up at him, "Well I just thought it seemed like there were alot of people waiting to speak to you, Mr....Groundskeepersir, so I thought I'd keep myself entertained for a little while and wait on the step."

Celandine eyed the step she was standing on and tapped her foot slightly, "It's a good step, really sturdy and I didn't want to waste the time I'm waiting on it by just sitting."

She blinked at him innocently, "I'm Celandine Toussaint." She gestured at the crest on her robes, "Ravenclaw!" then held up two fingers in the peace sign, "Second Year!" She shot him a big grin and brought both hands behind her back; intertwining her fingers and bouncing ever so slightly as she waited for his response.

"Hello to you as well, sir." Molly said as she stepped forward. Her emerald green eyes were sparkling and her cheeks rosy from the crisp fall air. "Sir, I can see you are very busy, so I will only take a moment of your time." She tugged at a strand of her long golden brown hair, a nervous habit she had never been able to get rid of.

"I was wondering if it would be alright if I picked a few pumpkins? I would like to have a go at carving one the way the muggles do." She pulled out a small book from under her robe and opened to the page with pumpkin carving. "See. They actually cut the pumpkin open and make faces on them." Molly giggled at the sketches of silly pumpkins in the book.

"I would only pick a few and I promise to clean up any mess I make. And if it goes well, I would be happy to show some of the other students how to do it." She paused a moment, realizing she never introduced herself. "Oh, how rude of me. I'm Molly Woodrow. Seventh year Hufflepuff."

Eva had been wondering around the grounds. The young girl was waiting for some letters. Her mother had promised to send letters from her friends of the muggle school and from Danny and Jenny.
She was getting bored easily. The young witch had tried to read, play with Missy and draw. But she couldn't be focus on anything. She heard some familiar voices near the groundskeeper's hut and decided to knock.
What could happen? Her day was ruined already. Or so the she thought.

She looked throught the window. Kaika was therem just like Barry, that she had met at Tamzin's party and the little Celadine Toussaint, Nico's sister. She didn't knew the other girls.

Knock, knock.
"Hello, Professor.. I mean, Sir." she greeted when Mr. Constantine Masterson opened the door.

She chuckled at his comment on the meeting thing, clearly he understood why. Kaika's eyes widened when he replied to her question about the acorns, "Oh" she said, and couldn't help to look at the other students around, "I guess you're right, it wouldn't do you any good to...umm...obliviate my mind clean" and it wasn't good for her either.

"I was wondering, is it alright if we take a few acorns from the acorn tree?" she asked, he'd probably wonder why she wanted to have some acorns around and decided to explain further, "You know, just in case a squirrel goes mental and we can get away by giving one to the creature, instead of becoming their source of food" she shrugged, because this was Hogwarts and strange things happen all the time, right?

Caleum made his way towards Neo's hut in search of something to liven his day. As he neared the wee little door, his eyes narrowed in confusion but, then raised a brow. The smirk on his face was classic. Masterson seemed to be the popular Groundskeeper.

A low rumbling chuckle growled from his chest as he walked up to the rather busy door. "Knock, knock," he said instead of using his knuckles to tap the door. No one would have probably heard him if he did use his hands.
