You have bewitched me body and soul, And I love- I love- I love you
Butterflies filled Mackenzie's stomach as she drug her trunk behind her on her way to he barrier to platform 9 3/4. She wasn't sure how this year would go, no Ronnie, her first year without her parents. This year was going to be a hard one.
As she made it to the barrier, she saw a sight at made all of her thoughts disappear. First years and their parents lined uo to make it though to the platform. She instantly thought back to her first year only two years previous and a smile spread across her face.
Finally it was her turn and walking at a normal pace into the wall she exited on the other side looking at the beautiful platform that has become her way home. Because that's what Hogwarts was to her now.... Home.

Reaching the Wall, Adi turned and waved to his parents for the last time before he walked through the wall. "Bye!'' he called, waving frantically.
He turned to face the Wall once more. His mom had told him exactly what to do and he was sure he could do it all on his own. His mother wanted to come with him, but he had insisted on doing this on his own. "Don't be nervous, Aditya Rehman! Remember what mama told you!'' But honestly, he was more excited than nervous! Adi glanced around to make sure the coast was clear. Certain that it was, he began walking as quickly as he could without attracting attention.
"Aaaaahhhh! Imma crash!'' he thought, panicking a bit and suddenly had a picture of himself lying unconscious on the ground as the wall loomed ever so close. Squeezing his eyes shut, Adi braced himself for the impact.
Zuheir Mordaunt smiled at the girl. Cutty had, of course, told her nothing, but she didn't want to bring that up because she recognized the older witch accompanying the younger girl straight away. This was going to be a moment.
Cutty's brows sunk down on his face at Jezzebelle's last words. The way she'd said it. As if it were a common thing that they did all of the time. Taking on a first year and making him or her theirs for the entire term. What else had Antoinette planned? All of the worry was soon forgotten in any case as the boys eyes rounded at the sight of his all-time favourite Harpy standing there before him. Was it really her?
When Heather flipped her hair, Cutty could see diamond-like sparkles as the sun hit it. It also seemed to move a bit slower than the world around it. And, for a long time, Cutty said nothing, too over-whelmed by his emotions and too afraid to say something stupid. Finally, his scowl returned and he spoke.
"Hi, Jezzebelle, and....Heathermalfoy." He said her name very quickly as if it were one, trying not to dwell on it, but instead making it sound all the more awkward. "I went to all of 'em!" This last part was a little sloppy as well as he did not explain that by all of 'em he meant Malfoy's games.
This was going superbly.
Jezz couldn't help the rolling of her eyes. Cutty was so fan-girling over Heather. She wished he would at least wipe the smirk off of his face. The list of things they needed to work on just kept getting longer and longer. She could help but snicker at his random outburst at the end. He was so adorable.
Heather just watched in fascination as Cutty and Jezz interacted with one another silently. Had she been that way when she was younger? She smiled at the boy, a little uneasy with the way he spoke to her. She hadn't been known for her game skills for a while. Ever since she went muggle for a few years. "It's nice to meet you Cutty. Jezz is so excited to mentor a first year. It's almost like a right of passage to pass on information to younger students. I did it myself with a few students. Not being a prefect made it all the better. Some rules are meant to be broken you know?" She gave him a wink trying to let him be at ease around her.

"Just a minute," Dee mumbled and fiddled her luggage straps.
"Don't take too long, we don't want to miss the traaaaaaaaaaaain." Bristol enthused and flailed her arms a little as she waited.

There wasn't actually anything wrong with it and if there had been, she'd have been able to fix it. She was smart enough to do that. Slowly and VERY shyly, she looked up again at the girl that had appeared. "I'm just nervous about going through the wall," she whispered honestly and bit her lip.

"Okay then." Laura smiled. "I'm just going to be right behind you." Laura would make sure that the first year got to the other side and then she would leave her if she wanted her too, she knew some first years didn't like older students hanging around with them.

Walking up to the wall she stood behind some guy who seemed to be taking his sweet, sweet time and well Ariana just wanted to get this term over with. "will you just walk through to the platform already!" he snapped at him, really she didnt have all day.

Logan then huffed and ruffled his hair and shook his head. "You know I could have used that information a little while ago before standing here and looking like a total fool."

Dee tried to look grateful, she did, but it didn't feel like she could truly feel grateful of what Laura was saying. For two reasons really. One, it didn't seem to have all that much relevance to what she's previously said and two, showing any other emotion besides looking shy and nervous was difficult and sorry Laura, your 'random words of wisdom' doesn't change that. "Thanks," though, because that was the polite thing to say and she did try and be polite when she could.
"Okay," she whispered and glanced around. Hopefully no muggles were watching her, because giving their secret away was a no, no. There didn't appear to be anyone watching, just .. a boy who looked very confused and was speaking to the wall and .. what in Merlin's fluffy white beard was he doing? She slowly approached his towering figure and looked up nervously, before whispering, "you just walk through it." And so to give him an example, she walked through it, onto the platform.
Easier than she'd thought.
Now could she hide from the world on the train?

After making their way across the public square it was finally time to go through the wall, this was going to be the best part. Donny came to a halt and beamed at his owl, Paracelsus didn't seem quite as excited at Donny was and had opted for a nap instead.
Just as Donny decided to make a run for it, his mother felt the need to fuss over him and took a comb out of her bag. 'No- No, go 'way mam.' He did a little dance to get away from his mother and the comb. No touching the hair! 'It's like Oliver's hair!' And he had worked hard to get it this nice, touching it would ruin everything. Donnacha shook his head at his mother, she didn't understand anything about famous Quidditch hair.
Finally. It was time. He took hold of his trolley and turned towards his parents, 'no helpin..!' A frownyface to make it extra clear that he was doing this all alone.
He wondered if he'd feel the wall when he was running ...through it... There was only one way to find out. But wait... Maybe he could tell if someone else ran fiiiirst. 'One more minute.' He mumbled and nodded at his parents.
So maybe he was a tiny bit nervous..

Just lowly whistling throughout the station, Wade could make out the signs for Platform 9 and 10 knowing his destination for his final year was just before his eyes.. Oh, and a few other things, like a younger boy with his family. Hmm.. a loaded trolley, remaining stationary in front of the wall.. Wade grinned at the signs of a first attender.
Wade's whistling died down as he pushed his own trolley closer, "Excuse me," he nodded respectfully towards the little guy's parents before speaking with him. "Hey.. everything alright?" If not.. cool. If so.. well, there was plenty of time to help out. "Is this your first time here?"
"yes, really" goodness, they just accept anyone into hogwarts now a days huh. Really, as if she wasnt already angry with this term it had to start off making her angry, really. " first time? awe, so should i baby you like a first year?" he was obviously NOT a first year, unless he was SUPER tall like Odessa, but even he was short in his first year." you should of done your research, like a normal transfer would." Really in all her years she only really saw first years struggle with the wall, rarely any transfers. she stared at him as he closed his eyes and began to move forward " might want to go at it in a bit of a run if your nervous." heh, newbies

Logan's eyes opened as he heard her and shot a look back at her, "Run? Why?" Well he would soon realize that looking back was the WORST mistake ever to do when running towards a wall. With a loud CRASH, Logan's trolley smacked right into the edge of the wall and Logan lunged forwards right into his trolley then falling over. Letting out a groan, the whole moment felt like it took forever, but it was over in just a few seconds. He fell to the side pulling the trolley down with him as he took a moment and rubbed his stomach and muttered in German slowly picking himself up to his elbows and looked over at her thinking he was playing a trick on her. "This some sort of transfer trick? Eh? Make me believe I see people running into walls and then when I do I completely fail..." He scoffs and doesn't even feel like getting up now and just sits there ruffling his hair.

This years goodbye to his parents was the easiest it had ever been. Theo didn't even hug either of them, just stood there whilst he received a peck on the cheek from his mum, and a shoulder pat from his dad. His brother and sister weren't here. Although it was with kinda good reason he supposed, because Casper started school today, too, and Kathryn was working or something. But anyway, pssssht, smell ya later! Theo had people to see, and OWLs to obtain.
He ditched his parents early, making them go home. This meant that he had to face THE WALL for the first time on his own. Yeah, Theo immediately regretted his decision to get rid of the 'rents.
But he couldn't call them back NOW.
The train was leaving in like, 10 minutes. And the Hogwarts Express waited for NOBODY. His eyes flickered to the clock, then to the wall, then to the clock, then to his mobile phone.
Suddenly feeling like he needed a wee, Theo started dancing on the spot and trying his best not to cry.

To say that brightened Ariana's mood was an understatement, the almost seventh year was doubled over LAUGHING at the boy as he tumbled over his trolley. "HAHAHA! oh man, oh Merlin, that was the greatest." oh MAN, the girl had tears in her eyes she was laughing so hard. " oh, oh merlin, i would ask if you we're alright, but i really really dont care that much."
could he do that again for her?

she was still laughing and wiping at her eyes when she saw a Theo, "Kinsley." why was he dancing? "you alright there?"
oh man this was too good, maybe she was sleep deprived, no actually that's exactly what it was. Yet here Theo was still Dancing and what's his face was on the floor and could Ariana just stay here for the next few terms like this, this would be good.
Just lowly whistling throughout the station, Wade could make out the signs for Platform 9 and 10 knowing his destination for his final year was just before his eyes.. Oh, and a few other things, like a younger boy with his family. Hmm.. a loaded trolley, remaining stationary in front of the wall.. Wade grinned at the signs of a first attender.
Wade's whistling died down as he pushed his own trolley closer, "Excuse me," he nodded respectfully towards the little guy's parents before speaking with him. "Hey.. everything alright?" If not.. cool. If so.. well, there was plenty of time to help out. "Is this your first time here?"
Maybe he should step back a bit and just... SPEEED off, that sounded better. Like a roadrunner, they were really fast. That seemed like the best plan so far Donny decided and took a few steps back, almost tripping over his own feet as he did so.

Thinking he spent enough time on the ground, her laughing just wasn't making matters any better and he bit his inner cheek before snapping at her. Let's face it...he wasn't in the mood, she got her daily dose laughing out of her, which scared him because she sounded like the Wicked Witch...but...more...sinister...was that even possible? [i] Gott if you keep laughing you might make my ears bleed...[/i he thought to himself as he looked at her and as he did for some reason he pictured her transforming into a wicked old witch, GREEN SKIN AND ALL, and it scared him.
Logan jumped back a bit and gasped as his face grimmaced. "Ach!" He looked away for a moment and then looked back and didn't see the evil witch there anymore. Well, technically she was still there, but not Green and no long nose and fingernails that went for miles. Just plain old nasty witch again. Logan finally picked himself up along with the trolley putting his things back on it and brushed himself off. "Right then Banshee then why don't you show me how it's done then yeah?"
