Stepping through the doorway, above which hangs a sign with a severed boar's head, you enter the seedy pub. It's dark, dusty, and quite uninviting. It looks like a place for dark wizards. This is definitely not a suitable establishment for underage witches and wizards. The barman gives you an icy cold stare and you flee from the bar.


This means no witch or wizard attending Hogwarts is allowed in this bar!

He beamed and took his dusty butterbeer over. "I'd love to. I hope I'm not interrupting but, I've been wanting to talk to my old mentor ever since I got back," he grinned as he slid into the seat across from her. "Congratulations, by the way."

"Very much so. Actually, it's more odd to be a professor with all.. well,, two... of my old... well, not really old either..." he paused and took a deep breath. "It's odd to be considered an equal with such as yourself and professor Lainey, ma'am."

"She was a bit touchy," he laughed. "You aren't that much older than I am. But, it's still weird. I can't believe how great Lainey looks. And you look great, too. Are you really married to Branxton from the Department of Mysteries?"

"It was. I just had to hear it from you. I don't really know your husband but, I've seen him a couple times and heard of him, of course. It's great you've got kids now. I'll bet they're real cute."

"Yeah, they're fantastic. I met a girl obsessed with Dora the Explorer which is really cute. We're working on making a map of the school. I'm not sure if you remember me as a student but, I still have a bit of navigational trouble.

"Just a little near-sighted really," he said with a broad smile and a tip of his glasses. "I think maybe it's to balance out the fact that I'm good at anything else I put my mind to. You can't be good at everything so, I'm really bad at finding my way through buildings. The map should help, I lost the one I made in school, but, those stairs are tricky and the algorithm of it movements changes from year to year. So, I'll have to work it out again." He was rambling again. Oops. Rey took a sip of his butterbeer.

"I am good at everything. That's why I'm an invaluable member of the auror team. Fortunately it's my turn to take some time off high-risk duty," he said. "I'll bet I could take you. It's been a while since you've been in the field."

"Well, if it was duel I'd have to, right?" he winked. "But, no, I wouldn't presume to pit myself against the Headmistress. It's bad form to hex the boss."

"Treasure? No... Why would they be asking about treasure? Anything specific? There's ton of treasure all over Hogwarts if you knew where to look... and how to get there," he laughed again at himself.

"A secret society? Sounds like fun. Do the kids know they're needed? A treasure hunt sounds a lot better than all the trouble we had back when I was a boy," he laughed.

"I'll spread the word if I notice anyone looking. Were you going to make an announcement or something about it? Or is it not supposed to be common knowledge?"
