Loved the last chapter!!! And ha to Lucius, he shouldn't be getting married if he's angry at Dara for bringing Josh. (Dang that's the second post in a row where I'm sticking up for Dara! Someone call a doctor!)

However.... DARA! You can't go cheating on Josh, that's just rude and horrible and mean! I know you're a Slytherin but still honestly. (never mind dont need the doctor, I'm back to my normal self) I have a good mind to go and find Josh and tell him.

hehe ... Well ... she's really into Josh, but she can't break habits easy. She loves Lucius, nt an easy thing to put aside. And yes she defended Andromeda. She's a kid, so she didn't want Bella to get all worked up about her own sister being a threat.

Half-way finished the next chapter .... more drama ... of course. Wouldn't be a story by me with out it!

Okay, so here it is. Chapter Nineteen, as promised, within the next couple of days. I hold to my promises, well some of them, unlike dear Kildara here, as you will see in the chapter.
Thank you all for waiting so ... ummm ... patiently ... *cough*Femiperumbally*cough*Nik*cough*
Do you want a cough lolly?
No I'm fine silly! Anyways, here it is, with no further ado. Chapter nineteen!

Note: I'm sorry if some of this suggests a bit too much. I'm finding it very hard to write within guidelines. So if anything needs to be changed, please tell me. Thank you! I think it's fine, but hey, I don't moderate!

Chapter Nineteen: Surely things can’t get any worse ...

Kildara was seeing Josh publicly now. They went to parties and functions together. Their first big function was the Mid-Summer Ball, held annually by the Malfoy Family.
It was the night of the Ball and they were having the same scene as the day of the wedding. This time, however, Josh didn’t bother telling her to hurry up, he just strode into her dressing room, brushing dust off his white suit. This time he found her, her dress only half done up, her make up not done and her hair in ragged curls. He sighed and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her.
“Babe, what’s wrong?” he asked, stroking her arms and kissing her on the forehead.
Kildara looked up at him, her normally icy blue eyes devoid of colour. “I don’t think I can go,” she muttered.
Josh looked at her, confused. “What do you mean you don’t think you can go? Babe, come on. Here I’ll help you do up your dress,” he said, picking her up so she was standing and slowly lacing up her dress so it didn’t fall down. He kissed her hard on the mouth then said, “I’m going to go downstairs and talk to Sev, while you are going to do your make up and hair. Okay, babe?” he asked softly. When she nodded her head, he walked out of the room and downstairs.
Severus was sitting at the dining room table when Josh came in.
“Is she okay?” he asked, looking up at the older boy, a concerned look on his face.
Josh looked at Severus as he sat down beside him. He closed his eyes for a second then shook his head. “No. She wasn’t dressed. Her make up’s not done. Her hair not done. I think it’s got something to with Malfoy. You’re coming right?” he asked, eyeing Sev’s suit.
“Yeah. Mum said I have to. I’m meeting Bellatrix’s youngest sister, Andromeda. My mum is never going to stop looking for Black’s for us. It’s sickening frankly.” he sighed. He thought Andromeda was alright, but he knew she wouldn’t be the same as the other Black’s. Not that he ever wanted to get married. What a waste of time.
“Andromeda is cute. If you like babies.,” Josh laughed. He looked at his watch and sighed. “I’m going to go see if she’s okay.”
Just as he got up and put his foot on the first stair, Kildara appeared, looking very elegant. Her makeup done, her hair falling in loose curls over her shoulders and down her back. Josh looked up and smiled at her as she slowly descended the stairs.

Kildara’s Ball Dress

She walked down the stairs and stopped in front of him, smiling at him.
“So, what do you think?” she said, twirling in front of him.
Josh looked her up and down and smiled. “You look gorgeous, babe,” he said, pulling her forward and kissing her lightly on the head.
Severus walked out of the dining room and looked happily at his sister. “We ready now?” he asked, pushing Josh out of the way to hug his sister, who looked stunning in his opinion.
Kildara smiled at Severus and nodded. “Yep,” she said, taking his arm. She looked up as Josh stood beside her and smiled. “Let’s go,” she said and spun on the spot, Apparating out of the room.

They arrived outside Malfoy Manor and walked up the front steps and stopped by the door. Josh knocked and they waited. The door opened and a lavishly dressed servant opened the door.
“Welcome to Malfoy Manor, Miss Snape, Master Snape and Mister Simmons. Come in,” he said, taking the invitation from Kildara.
The three of them followed him into the Grand Ballroom, where Kildara had been many times before, only by herself. She slipped her arm into the crook of Josh’s and they walked slowly into the room when they were announced.
People looked around as they entered, smiling at Kildara and looking her up and down, admiring her dress. They walked along the side of the Ballroom, headed for the drinks table, stopping every now and again to talk to people. They finally reached the table, took a drink each, Kildara had a Gillywater (Josh wouldn’t let her have a Firewhiskey) and Josh a Firewhiskey, and then turned around, only to be faced by Lucius Malfoy and his wife Narcissa Malfoy.
“Hi Lucius, Narcissa,” Kildara said happily, taking a sip from her drink.
Lucius and Josh scowled at each other, while the girls talked.
“Hi Kildara. How have you been?” Narcissa asked, hugging her.
Kildara was slightly taken aback by the hug, but hugged her back. “I’m great. Can’t wait for school to go back. How about you?”
Narcissa nodded, looking down at the floor slightly. “I had to fight to go back. The Malfoys wanted me to stay home, allow Lucius to go back by himself. I’m married now, I should be at home. But I still have two years left. I’m not going to throw it all away, just to be wife,” she said softly, still not looking at Kildara. The real reason she’d fought is because she didn’t want Lucius alone for a whole year with Kildara, his one and only love.
Kildara looked down at Narcissa and actually felt sorry for her. “I’d be the same. I wouldn’t be able to sit at home, knowing my husband was out there, learning, while I was stuck at home. I feel for you,” Kildara said softly, putting a hand on Narcissa’s arm.
Narcissa looked up, surprised at Kildara’s soft tone. “Thank you,” she said, curiously.
Kildara smiled. “Don’t think on it. I can be nice you know,” she laughed, making Narcissa laugh as well.
The boys looked around and saw them, looked at each other, and shrugged. Kildara smiled and looked over to them and laughed more. Her gazed lingered over Lucius for a moment and they locked eyes, making Kildara’s laughs fade away, quickly.
“I need to go to the bathroom. Where is it?” Kildara asked, quickly taking her eyes from Lucius’.
“I’ll show you,” Lucius’ voice said. Kildara didn’t look up, but nodded, let Lucius take her arm and pull her away.
When they got into the hall, Kildara looked up to see Lucius looking up at her. He let his fingers slowly brush over the bare skin of her shoulders, making her shiver slightly. They got to the bathroom and Kildara sighed. “I really don’t want to do this,” she said, before pulling him into the bathroom and locking the door behind her.
“How much don’t you want to do it?” Lucius asked, his fingers trailing over her arms.
Kildara closed her eyes for a moment, then looked up at him. Her eyes were glistening and her lips were quivering slightly. “Unfortunately not enough,” she said softly, slipping her hands over his chest and around his neck, then pressed their lips together, kissing him passionately.
He bent down, wrapping his arms around her waist, and lifted her. He carried her, and sat her on the vanity. He started to pull up the skirt of her dress, then got really frustrated with it.
“Why didn’t you wear a different dress if you were planning this?” he asked, a smile on his face.
Kildara laughed, took his hands in hers and pulled them around her back, to the laces of her dress. His face lit up, and he unlaced her dress, quicker than she had expected. He lifted her and slid it off her. She pulled him back to her, and clawed at his pants. He lifted her again, she wrapped her legs around his waist and he pushed her up against the wall.

45 minutes later, Narcissa and Josh were wondering where they’d got to.
“Well, it seems I was unable to tame him, like I thought I would,” Narcissa said, quite defeated.
Josh looked livid. “She promised me. She told me to my face she was over him. She told me she wouldn’t. She promised,” he snarled.
Narcissa looked up at him, putting a hand on his arm. “This is Kildara Snape we’re talking about. She’s not going to turn her back on something she wants. Her promises mean nothing. When Kildara wants something, she gets it, no questions asked. No one has a chance against her. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out she had Veela blood in her. You obviously don’t know your girlfriend very well,” she said, shaking her head. She had resigned herself to the fact that Lucius was never going to stop thinking about Kildara, and that there was no way she could fill her shoes.
Josh was still extremely annoyed. His anger only grew when he saw Kildara and Lucius walk back into the ballroom together, Kildara positively glowing.
“Thank you for inviting us Narcissa. But I think we’ll be going,” Josh said, as Kildara and Lucius walked up to them. He took hold of Kildara’s arm and marched her from the house, despite her protests and squirming. They passed Severus on their way out and Josh grabbed him too, and walked out of the house. When they were in the yard, he grabbed Kildara around the waist, holding her so she couldn’t get away, and turned to Severus.
“Hold on, Sev,” he said. When Severus had taken his arm, Josh Apparated them all from the yard.
When they were back at Snape Mansion, Severus ran up the stairs to his room, while Josh all but carried Kildara up to her room. When they were there, he let go of her and she turned to face him, her face red, her hair loose, and flying everywhere. Josh stepped back slightly, shocked.
“What was that all about? You can’t just march me out of a ball. No one man handles me like that and gets away with it,” she yelled. She was angry. But nothing on what Josh was feeling. Anger, mixed with betrayal.
“What was that all about? Are you serious? You missed 45 minutes of the ball. Because you were getting reacquainted with your ex-boyfriend. Kildara, I’m sick of it. You promised me you’d stop. You promised me you wouldn’t go off with Lucius. A promise obviously means nothing to you,” he yelled back, his fists clenched, his stance arrogant and strong.
Kildara’s stance softened and she sat on the bed, not looking at him. “I’m sorry I promised. I have a serious problem. It’s like I have flirting switch that is always switched to on. I’m so sorry, Josh,” she said, clearly. Not quite what Josh had expected. He had hoped she would back down, beg him to forgive her. Maybe Narcissa was right. Maybe he didn’t know his girlfriend as much as he thought he did. He sighed aggressively and started to pace in front of her. When she didn’t respond, he stopped in front of her.
“I’m going,” he said aggressively.
“Fine,” she retorted.
“Consider this into your calculations, I may never come back,” he said, glaring at her.
“Consider this into your calculations, I just apologised,” she said, standing up, glaring back at him.
Josh looked at her for a moment, torn between kissing her and hitting her. He sighed aggressively and turned on the spot, Apparating from the room.
Kildara sighed, slipped off her dress, and got changed into her night clothes and slipped under the covers.
“Men,” she sighed as she clicked her fingers, making the lamps go out, and snuggled into bed, falling asleep quickly.

And poor Josh. To be honest I hope he doesn't give her another chance. She'll just hurt him again.
OR maybe Josh and Narcissa should have an affair. That'll teach them a lesson.

Dara you're an idiot! I hope you realise that! You are one big idiotic witch!!! What were you thinking??? Even I know better then that! You don't go and cheat on a guy that loves you more then life itself! Especialy with a low life such as Malfoy!!!!

Get some sense knocked into your head, you're going to need it before you go back to school!!!

Jade hun, Jemma and I love this post. And notice how we didn't push you for posts ~~not in writing anyways~~ Please post soon, I want Dara to realise the truth which is so easy for us to see!!

oooohhh what a bad, bad girl! I still think she rocks though!

^^I like Nik's idea about Cissy and Josh having their own thing on the side. I don't think any lessons will be learned though, I don't think Dara and Lucius will care!
