Okay, I came up with this story in like 5 minutes and I was anxious to post it here. Now, it's finally posted. This story happens to be one of the million writing projects I'm working on. So...This story about an 11 year old girl who just got her acceptance letter from Hogwarts but, she'll also receive some bad news as well involving her single father, who is the MoM (Minister of Magic). I hope you'll like it and please be gentle on the harsh criticism.

Year 1, Chapter 1: I got good news but, they got bad news

Any girl can be a princess...for their rosy cheeks, beautiful smile, twinkling eyes, and lovely hair. I used to read about princes and princesses when I was little. I used to imagine I was a princess, waiting for my prince to take me away from my hell. But sadly, I'm not a princess. I'm just a dark haired, violet eyed, pale skinned, thin bodied, 11 year old witch. I don't have a royal family. But I do have a powerful dad who is the MoM, four brothers, and a dead mother. My name is Violet Marie Radcliffe and here is my story:

The very second I found the acceptance letter, I just screamed and jumped with joy. I tore open that envelope and read my letter from Hogwarts. Just reading it made me happy. When I finished reading it, I ran to find my nanny, Leela, so I can tell her I got the letter. On my way to finding Leela, I grabbed my trumpet and blew annoying noises instead of music. Gosh, I was happy as a muggle attending an amusement park.

"VIOLET! COME DOWN TO THE PARLOR ROOM!!!" screamed the voice of one my brothers. I followed that voice to the parlor room. As I entered the parlor room, I saw Leela and my brothers staring at me.

You know how when you look at people's expressions, you kinda sense what's going on? I looked at their expressions pretty hard and I couldn't tell what was going on. Leela had on a happy expression and my brothers, Napoleon, Peter, Andrew, and Jack, looked angry. Maybe this is one of those times where bad news for some people, is actually good news to others. "What's going on?" I finally asked.

Leela was about to answer, but Napoleon beat her to it. "Dad's getting married this Saturday."

"Oh no," I sarcastically said.

Leela shook her head and walked towards me, "You should be happy, Violet, that your father's getting married. Don't you want a new mother?"

Of course I do! If your cat just all of a sudden died, wouldn't you want another one? If your dog got killed, wouldn't you want another one? If your mother was killed by the killing curse a month after you were born, wouldn't you want a mother who cares for you and loves you? That pretty much explains my feelings. "Of course I want a mother," I finally said.

Peter jumped off his chair and glared at me. "Vy, how can you possibly accept this as good news? Dad has been dating some woman behind our backs and he just now announces by letter that he's getting married. Has it ever occurred to him that maybe he should've told us about this woman before they decide to get married! I don't know about you guys, but I'm upset!"

Peter stormed out the room and Napoleon, Andrew, and Jack followed.

Sorry, I have to stop here, but there will be more tomorrow. It may not sound like a Sa-16+ fanfic, but trust me, it will soon.

I have never read a story that isnt about someone in Harry Potter, (you know that the characters, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Draco, Etc...) because i was never interested, but I LOVE THIS ONE!! It totally got my attention!

I anxiously waited for dad and this Rita and Nicola to get here. What is taking them so long? Don't they know there is a girl waiting for there butts to show up? And this girl happens to be obligated!!! I paced in my bedroom, impatiently and frustrated. Leela said they'll be here by 7, it is now 1min. after 7!!! Where are they? I stared at the window and ran out the room, down the stairs, and slipped out the back door. If they are going to be late, then I'll just play outside! I, happily, took off my shoes and jumped in the mud puddle, with satisfaction. For the first time in thirty minutes, I felt alive and free. I'm in so much trouble. And disobeying never felt so good.

"You are so dead!"

I looked up and saw Peter, standing before me in his clean blue suit. I stood up and looked around for my shoes, only to find that they too are muddy. I frowned at my dirty feet and began to bite my lower lip. "I really am in trouble, aren't I? Is he home?"

Peter nodded and said kindly, "I'll cover for you."

He walked forward and lifted me in his arms and carried me into the mansion. Only to find even more trouble...

"What is this? Why is there a ragamuffin in the house?" Let me introduce you to an angry Rita LeFuer.

"Please tell me that lunatic in the boy's arms is not my step sister?" Allow me to introduce Nicola LeFuer, in rage.

"What happened to you, Vy?" That is my dad, Minister Matthew Radcliffe, of the MoM.

Everyone glared at me and Peter as we were in an awkward silence. I knew this was a my fault. But I couldn't help it. I had an unhealthy urge to play in the mud. I, nervously, looked up to Peter and he looked at dad and spoke, "I, jokingly, threw Violet's shoes out the window and dared her to get it out of the mud. And you know Violet, she never turns down a dare."

For support, I smiled innocently at dad and he laughed. Soon, Peter and I laughed as well, though Rita and Nicola just stared at us like we had 8 arms or something. "Violet, go take a bath," dad replied when the laughter died. I smiled at Peter, jumped out of his arms, and ran to the bathroom, leaving muddy prints.

"Peter," I heard Rita called. "Can I speak to you for a moment?"

I was about to step in the bathroom, but I stopped in the middle of the door way to listen. "Sure," I heard Peter answer.

I heard them step into the kitchen, alone, and tried my best to not make a sound. Ironically, I could easily hear them because the kitchen was right next to the bathroom. "I don't want you standing up to that lunatic!" Rita snapped at Peter.

"Wha-What are you talking about?" Peter asked in shock.

"That insolent little girl should be punished for looking filthy," Rita continued. "NOT stood up for!"

Peter sighed and said, "Excuse me ma'am, but you aren't my mother and Violet is my little sister and she had a right to be treated fairly!"

Rita paused for a moment and spoke, "I may not be your biological mother, but I will be your step mother and I demand that you give me my respect. I worked very hard to get to where I am today and I will not stop until I get what I deserve!!!!"

An awkward silence took over and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I didn't want to hear anymore, but I did anyway. "You know what you DON'T deserve?" Peter told Rita with anger. "You don't deserve to be in our family and I DON'T deserve to be living in the same world as you!!!!!"

I immediately ran inside the bathroom and locked the door. Peter has never raised his voice like that before. Nobody has ever treated him like that before. I grew more nervous than before. I don't think I like Rita. se's mean and scary. If she's going to treat Peter like that, then i definately don't like her.

Has anyone ever told you that a soothing bubble bath calms your nerves? Leela said that's what mum used to say. So I took the advice and it didn't help at all. I'm still nervous, scared, and confused. I felt nothing would calm me at all. Maybe I should play in the mud again...Maybe I shouldn't judge Rita...What is a Violet to do?


I was dressed in my regular clothesand went to the "ever so elegant dinning room". "Yeah spaghetitti!" I squealed as i saw a huge bowl of it on our "ever so elegant table". Our "ever so elegant dinning room" is a blue room, a soft carpet was on the floor, the table cloth was cream coloured satin with pearl trimmings, the silver candle holders held candles that match the blue walls, and to top it all off, a diamond chandelier hung from the ceiling. Isn't the dinning room "ever so elegant"?

Sorry, but I have to stop here.

As the "regular dressed " Violet enter the room full of "elegantly dressed" people, Rita glared at me as she sipped her red wine. Trying not to raise my eyebrow, I sat between Nicola and Peter. Nicola seemed pleasent because of her pleasent looking features. Golden blonde hair, green eyes, healthy looking cream coloured skin, she was in good shape, she had rosy cheeks, and a small pointed nose."Hi," I said cheerfully as I held my hand out to shake. "I'm Violet Marie Radcliffe."

She looked at my hand as if it was decomposing and didn't shake it. "Nicola Antoinette LeFuer," she said coldly, "Slytherin, second year at Hogwarts. I should be attending Beauxbatons Academy, but mother insisted on the dismal Hogwarts. What year are you?"

"First year," I answered before I ate some garlic bread.

Nicola gave me a sinister smile and said silently, "Yummy...Fresh meat."

I felt a cold shrill run down my spine because of what she replied. Or maybe that cold feelings from the window behind me. I saw her cross her finers behind her back and whisper in my ears, "Since I'll be your step sister very soon, I'll let you off with a warning: Stay out of my way or I'll make your first year a living hell!"

I assumed Peter was listening because he jumped off his chair and pointed his wand at Nicola. "You leave her alone, Nicola!"

What will happen next? I let you know soon. Love you fans!

Anyways I LOVE IT!!!! Gosh, I hate Rita and Nicola. They are so rude and hecka mean. I just want to slap them! But I love Peter!! He is my favorite!!

It's true! I'm wearing a hideous dress. Nicola had to keep my bedroom because she and Rita moved in yesterday. I wish was dead. So, I'm standing in front of a mirror, looking at my horrid reflection, thinking of ways to destroy this dress. Burn it!!!! Tear it up!!!! Cut it to shreds!!!! Do something!!!! I held in my hands a pair of scissors and I had an idea. An idea so crazy that it just might work and get me into trouble at the same time...

"What did you do to that dress?"

Napoleon was the first to see what I did to the dress.

"It looks better that way."

What I did was redesigned it. I noticed the dress had a pink petticoat-like dress under it, so I turned it inside out and just cut the green part off. Now, it's a beautiful, pink gown. "Do you like it, Napoleon?"

"The better question is, will Rita explode?"

He was right. Will she explode?...

Sorry, have to stop here. I'm thinking of adding graphics for the FF, pics of the characters, stuff like that. Would you great fans like some FF graphics? Promise there'll be more ASAP!
