Great post. I agree with pheonixtears. I hope harry and lina don't like each other and just stay friends. Poor Ginny. I hope Harry still goese for her.

Going to Hogwarts Part 4

Before Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, and Luna got into a carriage pulled by thestrals, Ron stared right at them and said, "Blimey, and to think we rode on these things. And they were invisible too." Harry forgot that Hermione and Ron saw Lupin die too. After a few minutes of getting into the carriage-Harry had to persuade his pup to get onto the carriage-, it started to move. It rocked and creaked noisily as it was pulled towards the castle. When the carriages stopped, they got out and walked towards the castle doors. Harry looked back and saw Luna patting the thestral before heading towards the doors. Not that many students came to Hogwarts, Harry saw that Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas were back and so were some other students they never knew. Most of the students Harry, Ron, and Hermione knew already graduated from Hogwarts and they already met on the train. They went inside the Great Hall, with Harry's pup at their heels, it never seemed so empty before. The teachers were there but most students were gone, even Lavender Brown and the Patil Twins. Luna went to the Ravenclaw table while Harry, Ron, Neville, and Hermione went to the Gryffindor table. Professor Mcgonnagle was sitting in Professor Dumbledore's place in the middle of the staff table. Harry looked around and saw Ginny sitting by herself, wiping her eyes on a napkin.
"I wonder what's wrong with her?" asked Ron.
"I don't know, she started crying when she got off the train." said Harry
"Isn't it obvious?" asked Hermione. When Harry and Ron didn't answer, Hermione and Neville sighed and Neville said, "She's jealous."
"Jealous? Of who?"
"Of Lina." said Hermione, "Since you and Lina were best friends when you were little Ginny thinks that you like Lina instead of her."
"I don't know how she can think that," said Harry, "She knows I love her."
"But that's just it Harry," said Neville, "Maybe she doesn't know. You should go tell her that you still love her." Harry agreed and walked over to Ginny and sat in front of her, "Ginny, I just want to tell you-" but he was cut short when McGonnagle asked for silence. Harry looked up at the staff table, remembering that there were going to be two new teachers and looked down at the table. He saw Flitwick the Charms teacher, Slughorn the Potions teacher, Sprout the Herbology teacher, Madame Hooch the Flying teacher and referee for the Quidditch games, he couldn't see Hagrid because he was handling the first years. When he reached the end of the table his jaw dropped when he saw that the new teachers were-

Going to Hogwarts Part 5

Fred, George, and Lina. Lina waved at Harry and he shut his jaw and grinned. He scooted down the table and asked Ron and Hermione in an undertone, "Why are they here? I thought Fred and George were busy at the joke shop!"
"They have assistant employies, you know Harry." said Hermione, "It's not like Fred and George were the only ones working here." At that moment Hagrid came into the Great Hall followed by a small amount of nervous looking first years. Harry thought that Hagrid was Deputy Headmaster because he remembered how McGonnagle always led the first years into the Great Hall before she became Headmistress. Harry felt a sinking sensation in his stomach when he remembered Dumbledore, he didn't even pay attention to the sorting. When the sorting ended, the feast began. Harry barely touched his food, he couldn't eat anything knowing that most of the adults he cared about were gone. Ron and Hermione exchanged nervous glances and Hermione said, "You've got to eat, Harry. I doubt they'd want you to feel this way forever."
"'They' who?' Harry muttered.
"Your parents, Sirius, Remus, Dumbledore, and Cedric!" said Hermione.
"What would Cedric care?" asked Harry.
"Harry, if Cedric didn't care, I doubt that he would've told you about the second task in the Triwizard tournament, helped you after that giant spider broke your leg, and would actually give up the cup for you to take."
Harry knew she had a point but didn't say it so she looked at Ginny and saw that she was having a conversation with Luna. Harry abandoned his food and went to Ginny again, "Ginny, can I please talk to you?" Ginny looked at him and said, "Sure Harry. Luna, could you give us a moment?"
"Of course." Luna said, this time she wasn't using her dreamy voice, but her voice was in concern and sadness. When Luna was out of earshot, Ginny asked, "What did you want to tell me?"
"Ginny, I just wanted to tell you that just because I've met my childhood friend again doesn't mean I like her in that way."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Because when you got off the train I saw you crying and I also just wanted to know that I still love you, and I always will." Ginny smiled and said, "Thank you for telling me, Harry. And by the way, you should really eat something. You'll have an eating disorder if you just start starving yourself."
Harry smiled and said, "Right, thanks Gin." he started to get back to Ron and Hermione when Ginny said, "And Harry, I just wanted you to know that I know how you feel."
"What do you mean?" Harry asked looking at her.
"I mean, I know what it's like to lose people dear to you, I have lost two of my favorite uncles, a headmaster, our favorite teacher, and most importantly you because of Voldemort. But just so you know that even though they're dead, they're still with you in your heart." She then put her good hand on his chest wear his heart was. He put his hand over hers and kissed her in thanks. "I'll meet you in the common room." He scooted back down to Ron and Hermione and started eating.
"Okay so you listen to your girlfriend but you never listen to your bestfriends?" asked Ron.
"Apparently yes." Harry said before shoveling food in his mouth again.

I had fun writing the last part, so just for the heck of it I'll put a new one in

Chapter Six: Love is in the Air

When the feast was over, McGonnagle stood up and said, "Welcome to Hogwarts. I'm glad to see some familiar faces back at Hogwarts, along with the new faces as well. We have four new teachers, some of you may remember Mr. Fred Weasley and Mr. George Weasley. Professor Weasley and Professor Weasley will be teaching Transfiguration. Our other new teacher, Ms. Jackson from Beuxbatons will be teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts with another student who I will talk with tomorrow to see if he or she will be up to it." The rest of McGonnagle's speech was about the rules and the tryouts for the Quidditch teams and she sent them all to bed. Ron and Hermione led the Gryffindor first years to the common room while Harry and Ginny took a shortcut there. When they arrived into the common room, all the students were getting to their dorms to get to bed. Not feeling sleepy, Harry and Ginny sat on the couch near the fire. They saw their dogs curled up on the hearth rug by the fire, sleeping while Crookshanks was stalking around the common room. Harry and Ginny didn't talk much, they just sat on the couch watching the fire crackle and dance around brightly. When Ron and Hermione came in, told the first years about the common room and went to bed, Harry and Ginny were the only ones in the common room again.
"So, er, we're alone." said Harry.
"Yeah, completly alone." Ginny replied. Harry looked at Ginny for a moment and kissed her cheek.
"Thanks for making me feel better." he said. Ginny smiled, but didn't answer. She and Harry leaned in and kissed. They heard giggling and looked around and saw three second year girls giggling uncontrolably while watching Harry and Ginny kiss.
"Can't two people have some privacy here?" Ginny snapped and the girls walked away, still giggling. Harry looked at Ginny and asked, "Do you want to continue?"
"Most definetly." And they kissed again, this time it lasted longer. By midnight they said goodnight and left for their dorms. When Harry changed and got into bed, Ron woke up and asked, "Where were you?"
"In the common room...with Ginny." Harry was glad that Ron didn't press the matter and went to sleep. Harry laid on his pillows and fell asleep feeling excited about the next day

I wanted it to be a bit more romantic but the way I had it sounded a bit too inapropriate(sp?) so I choose not to put it in, I can give you a copy of it for those who wanted more

no, I didn't take it wrong. I'm just saying in case you guys wanted to know what the original part was, but if you liked it that way, never mind

Those last two chapters were so good. So cute. Harry and Ginny are so cute together.

I just thought I'd put this post in now instead of at the last minute, I'll be leaving in two-three days and I won't be back in a day or two

Love is in the Air Part 2

Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked down the corridors to the Great Hall for breakfast, on the way, Harry saw Ginny talking to Luna. Luna saw them, smiled and waved at them, while they smiled and waved back. Ginny looked around and smiled at Harry. Harry smiled back at her, he looked around and saw Hermione smiling broadly at him.
"What?" Harry asked confused
"Harry, Ginny told me about last night." Hermione answered, still smiling.
"She did?"
"Yes, it's hard to keep that sort of thing a secret. I think it's great that you and Ginny are getting back together. I've always thought you two would make a good couple."
"Kinda like how people thought we would make a great couple." Harry said remembering Rita Skeeter's article about them in their fourth year.
"Well, people might've forgotten it by now. But Harry, I still think it's great that you two are getting back together."
Harry looked at her and said, "We're not getting back together."
Hermione stopped smiling and Ron asked, "Why not?"
"Well, er, I don't have time for girls right now." Harry answered lamely.
"What are you - dead?"
Hermione cut in, "What Ron means is, how can you not have time to date her again? Or are you still worried Voldemort and his son will take her and use her as bait again?"
"Hermione, you remember what happened during the summer." said Harry, "She almost got killed and her arm was broken so there's no possible way for her to use her wand for a few weeks. I just don't want anything to happen to her."
"So what about what happened last night?" asked Ron.
"I don't know, I mean, I want to get back together with her but I just don't want her to get killed." When they reached the Great Hall and got into their seats, Harry didn't touch any of his food again.
"Harry, aren't you hungry?" asked Hermione.
"No, I guess not." he looked at his reflection on the back of his spoon and for a moment he thought he saw his emerald green eyes turn blood red with slits like a cat's. He closed his eyes for a moment and looked at his reflection again, they were normal again.
"Harry, are you alright?" Harry looked around and saw Lina sitting next to him.
"Yeah, I think so." When Lina looked away, Harry could've sworn he saw a small look of dissapointment on her face.

Chapter Seven: Hallucinations

Harry got up from his seat and left the Great Hall to his first class; Transfiguration. When he left the Great Hall, he heard someone calling for him, "Potter, There's something important I wish to tell you." He turned and saw McGonnagle walking towards him.
"What do you need to tell me, Professor?" asked Harry.
"I would like to ask you if missed secretly teaching your classmates." she answered. Harry gave her a confused look and said, "Yes, why?"
"Well, I just wanted to ask you, how would you like to teach your classmates again, only not in secret?" Harry knew where this was going and asked, "Professor, Are you asking me to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts with Lina?"
"Yes," answered McGonnagle, "I'm thinking that you'd be the right person to teach them also since you did well in your fifth year."
"But what about my other classes?"
"Don't worry, it won't be every hour of everyday. How about you do it Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays? And you could teach three classes, not including double." Harry thought about it, and agreed.
"Your first class starts after Transfiguration." Mcgonnagle went back into the Great Hall while Harry went to Transfiguration. When he was at the door to the classroom, his dog ran up and sat next to him. He reached out to pet her when he saw something on her neck that was hooked onto the collar. There were two rolled up peices of parchment. He took them out and unrolled them, the first one was from Hermione:
Harry, you missed owl post and your dog was here, so I put the letter in the collar.

Hallucinations Part Two

Harry pocketed Hermione's note, unrolled the second peice of parchment, and read it.

Harry

I'm very sorry to report that there has been an attack on muggles in your quardians' neighborhood. It's too horrible for me to say it, so the clipping from todays paper is attached to this note. I repeat, I'm terribly sorry.

Percy
Harry's heart sank as he read this letter. He looked down and saw that a clipping from the Daily Prophet fell onto the floor when he was taking out the parchment. He picked it up and read it, his heart sank even deeper.

Mass Muggle Killing!

On September 1st, an attack was set on Privet Drive, Little Winging; a muggle neighborhood leaving only two surviving while others were killed.

Harry looked through the list of the ones who died untill he was in the D's section and to his horror, his uncle and Dudley were killed. He looked at the surviving list and saw that his aunt and his neighbor, Mrs. Figg were the only survivors. Harry crumpled up the letter and the clipping in anger, his dog whimpered and ran off. Tears came down from Harry's eyes as he silently cried for the people who lost their lives because of Voldemort. He felt a hand touch his shoulder and he looked around; Luna was sitting next to him with her hand on his shoulder. Harry saw that there were tears coming from her eyes too.
"Harry," she said, her voice wasn't breathless or dreamy, it was in a comforting tone, "I'm so sorry. I know how you feel."
"No you don't." said Harry, "You wouldn't even understand how I feel." Luna put her hand on his cheek, "I do. I have lost a mother, a brother, and sister because of V-V-Voldemort. I have also lost many of my childhood friends and family." She took her hand off his face, reached into her pocket and took out what seemed to be a picture. She handed it to him and said, "Don't tell me that I wouldn't understand, because I do." Harry took the picture and looked at it; A man with blonde hair and a small bald patch like Mr. Weasley's was standing next to an attractive woman with blonde hair that went down to her waist. She was holding a small girl with short blonde who looked around five or six and and between the man and woman was a boy that also had short blonde hair who looked around nine or ten and a girl who looked twelve or thirteen with blonde hair that went down her back. Harry guessed at once that this was Luna's family. He handed the picture back to Luna and said, "I'm sorry."
"It's alright," she answered as she pocketed the picture, "I just want you to know that you have friends here, you're not alone." She patted his shoulder and left him sitting by the door, feeling a little better.

I feel sad and happy for posting that

Chapter Eight: Teaching Part 1

When Transfiguration ended, Harry was the first to leave the classroom. Ron and Hermione caught up with him in the corridor with great difficulty because of how Harry was going so fast. Harry was wondering why they were going the same way he was until he suddenly remembered that their next class was Defense Against the Dark Arts.
"Harry, why are you going to Defense Against the Dark Arts so fast?" asked Hermione.
"You can't be that anxious about classes." said Ron
Harry also remembered that he didn't tell Ron or Hermione about him being one of the teachers for Defense Against the Dark Arts.
"I'll tell you later." said Harry. When they reached the classroom, Harry noticed that there were two desks at the front of the classroom. He went to the front of the classroom to one of the teacher, dropped his bag on the desk that had his name on it, and took out his quil, parchment, ink bottle, and the books he would need for Defense Against the Dark Arts.
"Harry, what are you doing up there?" asked Ron.
"You'll see."

Teaching Part 2


When the other students-including Neville, Seamus, and Dean-arrived they looked at Harry curiously before taking
