Apparation Tests Part 5

Harry turned to look at Ron and said, "Ron, this is my old friend, Lina Jackson. Lina, this is my friend at school, Ron Weasley."
"Great to meet you." Lina asked holding out her hand for Ron to shake.
"Great to meet you too." said Ron shaking Lina's hand.
"Ron and I go to Hogwarts," explained Harry, "Where do you go?"
"I was actually Beauxbatons." said Lina, "My parents were muggles and were really shocked when I got my letter."
"So I guess they were really proud of you, huh?" asked Ron.
"Actually my dad was, but my mother didn't like it. I lived in Harry's neighborhood at the time and my mum was a bit like Harry's aunt and uncle; she wanted everything perfect, nothing abnormal whatsoever, and when she found out that me and Harry were friends, we moved even before I got my letter, remember Harry?"
Harry thought back at the time after Lina saved Harry from Dudley and his gang and remembered what happened.
The were at the park playing in the sand box. Harry used a tiny miniater shovel that he borrowed from Lina until he saw something gold and shiny.
"Hey, I found this neat coin!"
He picked up a gold coin-Harry didn't know that it was actually a galleon-and showed it to Lina. Lina stared at the coin and said, "This must be one of those lucky charms I've heard so much about!" she gave it back to Harry and said, "You better put that in a safe place where no one can find it."
Harry put it in his pocket and said, "Let's see if there's any more that way, there'll be one for both of us."
"Right." said Lina and she and Harry started to dig again until they decided to take a break.
"How about we go onto the swings?" suggested Harry when Lina passed him a juice box and little bag of chips, "That might cool us off."
"Good idea," Lina said putting down her juicebox and running over to the swings with Harry. Lina and Harry didn't know how long they were at the park, all they knew was that they were having the time of their lives playing in the sand, playing on the swings, playing games, and watching the clouds go by; that is, until Lina's mother came to pick her up from the park. Lina's mother walked out of the car and walked into the park until she saw that Lina was with Harry.
"Lina Jackson," her mother cried out, Lina and Harry stopped making their swings move looked at the angry mother, "What are you doing with that Potter boy!"
Lina got off the swing and said, "We're just playing, mum." she said to her mother as if it wasn't a big deal, but it was to her mother.
"I don't ever want you to play with that boy ever again!" she glared at Harry, he was a bit offended by how people call him "the Potter boy" and how parents don't want their children to be with him.
"But mum..." Lina started to say until her mother grabbed her writ and started to drag her out of the park.
"But nothing! You are to never see that boy again!" Lina's mother dragged her into the car and started to drive away, leaving Harry to sit on his swing and watch the car drive away.

Harry looked at Lina and asked, "What did you're parents do when you got your letter?"
"My mum wouldn't stop freaking out but my dad thought that it was wonderful. My mum thought that I was a weirdo and didn't love me the same anymore until my dad decided to have a divorce, so thanks to my dad, I was able to go to a wizarding school."
"Don't you miss you're mother?" asked Ron.
"Hardly," answered Lina, "I wasn't really that fond of her anyway."
"But why do you go to Beauxbatons?" asked Harry.
"I lived somewhere in Europe with my dad and he wanted me to go to a wizards school not so far from home. But we decided to move back to London, and my dad wants me to go to Hogwarts now."
"So I guess we'll be seeing more of eachother, huh?" asked Ron.
"I guess so."
"Potter, Harry and Weasley, Ron!" called out a voice.
"We better be going." said Ron, "It was great meeting you."
"It was great meeting you too." Lina said opening her book again and started reading, and Harry, who didn't know what came over him, asked, "Do you want to come over to Ron's tomorrow?"
Lina and Ron stared at Harry, "What did you say?" asked Lina.
"I was wondering if you would like to come over to Ron's house tomorrow, his older brother is having a wedding with one of the students from Beauxbatons, do you know Fleur Delacour?"
"Oh, yes, I know her and her little sister, I'd be happy to come over." Harry wrote down the Weasleys' address and gave it to Lina.
"See you later." Harry said to Lina as he and Ron went to the other room.
"Why did you invite her to Bill and Fleur's wedding?" asked Ron.
"I have no idea."

Apparation Tests Part 6

Harry and Ron walked into a room only find two men in the middle of the room. One had no hair but a bit on his face and wore baggy clothes the other had hair and like his companian wore baggy clothes.
"Ron Weasley and Harry Potter?" asked the man with no hair.
"Yes." answered Ron, he looked a bit nervous about taking the test.
"Welcome, my name is Jack Smith," said the man with hair, "and this is my friend, James Johnson." he gestured to the man with no hair, "You will take your tests in seperatly and in seperate rooms to give you more room for your test. Mr. Weasley, you will work with James and Mr. Potter, you will work with me, is that understood?" Ron and Harry nodded to show that they understood.
"Follow me, Mr. Potter." Jack said as he walked towards the door. Harry followed Jack out the door and intro the next room. He saw that there was a hoop in the middle of the room like there was when he and his fellow classmates were learning to Apparate in their sixth year at Hogwarts.
"I want you to concentrate on the hoop clearly, remember the three D's! Destination.." but Harry didn't hear what the other two D's were, he already closed his eyes and started to concentrate on the hoop. He waited until he felt something familiar going on inside him until it stopped. He opened his eyes and saw...

Apparation Tests Part 7(and last)

Harry saw that he made it into the ring.
"Good work, Mr. Potter." said Smith, "You may leave now."
Harry nodded, left the room, and decided to wait for Ron. As soon as he got to the corridor, he saw that Ron already finished his test.
"How'd you do?" asked Harry.
"I did great," Ron answered beaming, "What about you?"
"I did all right too."
"We better get home, mum will need help for the wedding tomorrow." Harry and Ron walked down the corridor until they entered the waiting room and Harry saw that Lina was still waiting for her turn to take her test. Whe he and Ron left the waiting room and entered another corridor, Ron asked, "Harry, are you starting to fancy that Lina girl?"
"No, of course not! Why do you ask?"
"It's just that you two used to be friends and the way you look at her-"
"Ron, I still love Ginny, I just broke up with her because I want her to be safe, and I've only been with Lina for five or ten minutes, that doesn't mean that there's anything going on between us."
"Okay, okay. There's no need to be angry, I was just wondering."
Before they knew it, they were already in front of the Ministry fireplaces, before he entered the fireplace in front of him, he said to Ron, "Sorry, it's just that I've been stressing out because of what happened at the school."

Chapter Three: Mayhem at the Burrow

Harry and Ron traveled by Floo Powder only to find everybody running around getting ready for the wedding tomorrow. Mrs. Weasley saw them and said, "Oh good, you're home. How was it?"
"We passed." said Ron as he and Harry were wiping the sute(sp?) off them.
"Well I need your help for the wedding tomorrow, Harry, I need you to help Fred and George rearrange everything outside for the wedding, and Ron, I need you and Hermione to help Ginny and Hermione with their performance.
"What performance?" asked Harry.
Didn't she tell you?" asked Mrs. Weasley, "Hermione's going to play something on the piano and Ron and Ginny volunteered to sing something while she plays."
"I didn't know you could sing." Harry said looking at Ron who was red in the face from embarrasment.
"I sing sometimes when no one's around." said Ron.
"I need you both to get started now." Mrs. Weasley said before buzzing off into the kitchen.
Harry went outside towards the Weasley's yard where Fred and George were magically moving some tables and chairs for the guests.
"Hello Harry," said Fred as he waved his wand and a group of chairs lined up neatly in a row, "We;ve been needing some extra help."
"I'm surprise to hear that," Harry said as he took out his wand, "You both seem to be getting along fine."
"We've been working on this for about an hour." said George as he conjured up some tables, "We've been trying to do this without having to catch the muggles' attention."
Harry saw a gnome trying to sneak up on Fred when he wasn't looking, Harry waved his wand and said, "Stupefy!" stopping the gnome from getting any closer. Fred looked around at the gnome and said, "Thanks Harry, those little buggers have been getting restless lately."

Mayhem at the Burrow Part 2

When Harry and the twins were done setting everything up, they decided to go inside and get something cool to drink for working out on a hot day like this. Harry drank his cold water and decided to go unpack his things in Ron's room but on his way to the stairs he heard some talking in another room; the door was ajar and he heard three people talking.
"Let's try this again," he knew in at once that it was Hermione speaking, "and this time, Ginny, please try not to laugh."
"I'm sorry," he heard Ginny say, "Ron won't stop making faces."
"Ron-"
"Can't help it, Hermione." Ron sniggered.
"Okay then, let's just take it at the top." Harry looked through the crack and saw Hermione playing the piano and Ron and Ginny were reading from a paper. Ron took a deep breathe and sang, It’s hard to believe
That I couldn’t see
You were always there beside me
Harry didn't think that Ron was that bad, but it didn't sound great compared to Ginny's beautiful voice.
Thought I was alone, she sang,
With no one to hold
Both Ron and Ginny took a breath and they both sang,

What I’ve been looking for When they were done Ginny suddenly started laughing.
"I'm sorry," she gasped between laughs, "But this song sounds really cheesy."
"Phlegm's the one who chose this song, she said that if we didn't sing this then she won't let you sing your song.
"Phlegm is such a-" Harry didn't get the chance to know what Fleur was since Ron was walking towards the door and he didn't want them to know that he was spying so he darted up the spiral staircase

Mayhem at the Burrow Part 3

When Harry got into Ron's room, he saw Jack barking and growling at something under Ron's bed. He walked over to it and layed on his stomach to see what it was; it was a fat rat, it was looking around terrified as the puppy barked at it. He reached outhis hand and grabbed the rat.
"Why don't you go down and chase the gnomes?" Harry said to Jack as he carried the rat downstairs, Jack at his heels. Harry looked at the rat, it seemed familiar and he couldn't put his finger on it. He guessed it reminded him of Wormtail when he used to be Scabbers. When he got downstairs, he saw Ron and Ginny and asked, "When did you guys get another rat?"
"New rat?" asked Ron, "What are you talking about?"
"Jack was barking at it in your room so I kind've assumed..." "That's weird," Ginny said frowning, "We didn't see this rat when we were taking out the camp beds."
"Probably snuck in when we were getting things ready for the wedding tomorrow or something."
"Yeah," said Ron, "You should take that outside, Harry. Change of plans, Fleur's family is coming over today and Fleur's scared of rats."
"Right." Harry said as he carried the rat outside, "Watch out for the orange cat." he said to it as it ran off.
When Harry went inside, he saw Hermione talking excitedly to Ron and Ginny until she saw him.
"Harry! I just got a letter from my parents, they said that it was okay for us to stay at their house for the weekend!" she said happily.
"That's great, Hermione!" Harry said smiling, "But why do they want us to come over?"
"Since we mostly stayed at the Burrow during the holidays, my parents haven't met you properly, and they haven't seen you two since we went to Diagon Alley and went to Lockhart's book signing."
"Yeah, that wasn't exactly a good first impression seeing as how dad beated up Malfoy's dad." said Ginny.
"The git deserved it though." said Ron
"But they've gotten over that, and both them and my brother will be happy to meet you!" said Hermione.
"I didn't know you had a brother." said Harry.
"Oh, yes. He's only two years older than me, and he's kinda like Bill, only without the dragon hyde boots."
"How come you've never mentioned him before?" asked Ron.
"We don't get along that often, and he's not really much to talk about."
"What do you mean?"
"He's mostly in his room, and the only time he comes out is only for school and meal times."
"Well, I'm sure we'll have a good time at your home anyway." said Harry, "And it'll be great to get to know your family."
"And I think it'll be great to get know your family too." said Hermione
"I really don't think that's a great idea, Hermione. I mean, they already know enough about Ron's family."
"Well, I've never actually met your aunt, uncle, or cousin."
"Lucky you." said Ron, "I doubt that they've forgiven y family for the ton tongue toffe Fred gave Dudley." he and Harry laughed at the memory of that while Ginny and Hermione smiled and giggled.

yeah, that was something I wanted to add for a while, the same with Harry and Ron actually meeting Hermione's family since we mostly see the Dursleys and the Weasleys
