Since I had a free last lesson the next day, I decided to go and dance in the room of requirement. I had an hour and a bit before dinner was over, so I figured that if I danced for an hour, I could quickly get some dinner before the meeting started.
I must have gotten lost in my dancing because the next thing I knew I heard a round of applause. I turned to see most of the DA members there. "Thanks," I said blushing. "I'm guessing dinner is over then?" I asked, as I knew I shouldn't miss any meal.
"Yeah, but we brought you some snacks," said Parvati handing me a plate of food.
"Thank - you very much!" I said as I started to eat. Dancing works up a very big appetite. "Now, are we ready to start the meeting?" I asked after I had finished.
"Everyone's here," Hermione said looking up from our list of members. "Now it's up to you and Gin to lead the lesson."
I looked at Ginny who was holding the potion that we had made up earlier that day. "Right, the hex that we are going to teach you is 'Hexamobilius'. The hex itself won't do anything unless you get the wand movement right, which is what Ginny is going to teach you now." I said as Ginny came up.
The next 15 minutes of the lesson involved she and I going up to everyone and making sure their wand moments. Thankfully everyone was a quick learner, so we then moved on to actually practicing the spell. They were all really good at it, and the potion that Ginny and I had made was empty by the end, which was brilliant!
"Right, great job everyone, but remember don't use this spell if a teacher is around. We don't want them to know that we've made up a new spell that a lot of students are good at." Harry said as the students started to walk out of the room.
"Okay then," I said as I looked around the room at the students that were left. There was Jay, my dance partner from yesterday with his girlfriend Khristina who was a Hufflepuff; there was Jamie a 6th year Hufflepuff; our Ravenclaw friend Evangeline; and two 7th year Gryffindor girls: Nicola and Shirel. There were also a few others, but none that we knew quite so well.
"Let’s start dancing," I exclaimed as I pointed my wand at the CD player. As the music started I lead them all through a vicious dance warm up. At the end of the song, most of them were breathing heavily. "You guys need to slow your breathing down now, otherwise you won't be able to do the next bit which is stretching," I told them as I sat down on the floor with my legs apart reaching first to one leg then the other.
Most of the girls were good at the stretches, but unless the boys were either dancers or quiddtich players, they found it harder. I decided to teach them part of a dance to a song from Honey. "5...6...5, 6, 7, 8" I said, as I started to go through the steps.
Once I had taught them some, I watched them and gave them helpful tips "Khristina point your toes! Evangeline head up unless I told you not to! Jamie shoulders straight and even please! Harry, stop messing around!" He, Ron, Neville, Dean, Seamus and Jay had decided to stop dancing to the song and decided to start play fighting. It was definitely funny to watch.
"Rina, the time!" cried Ginny. I looked at the clock on the wall.
"Guys, we have to go now! It's almost 11 o'clock!" I said as I stopped the music. We all said good night to one another then waited first for the Ravenclaws to leave, then the Hufflepuffs and finally the Gryffindors started to head back to our common room.
Thankfully we managed to get back without being caught by Filch, Mrs. Norris, or any Slyterin prefect. "That was the most fun I've had in ages!" exclaimed Ginny as we entered the common room.
"I definitely agree!" said Hermione. "We need to do that more often!"
As it was late, we decided to go straight to our dorms, so we said (kissed in some cases) goodnight to each other and headed up to bed. "Do you really think it was good?" I asked as we climbed into our warm sheets.
"Of course," said Parvati. "Now all we need to do is find a chance to show Malfoy up!"
"That would actually be quite fun. I'll talk to Uncle tomorrow about it!" I said as we all started to dream about humiliating Malfoy like we had done in Quidditch.
This post is dedicated to Khris, as it is her 19th birthday today! Congratulations and Happy Birthday big Sis!!

Especially where you, well you know  Oh and telling me to point my toes, great job, when I was in the musical last year my dance teacher i guess you could say told me to point our toes more more and more, lol. Anyway, Great post, awesome post can't wait for more posts, PAMS!!!!!
