I awoke the next morning and saw that against my feverant pleas and wishes, the letter from Uncle Lucius hadn't dissapeared. I groaned and laid my head back on my pillow.
"It's still there isn't it?" Hermione asked from her bed.
"Why else would she groan?" commented Ginny. She looked at her watch and said, "As it's 8 o'clock, do you think we should open the letter with the boys?"
Hermione and I thought that was a good idea, so we all got dressed; putting on some jeans and a long sleeved top each. We then walked to the boys' dorm and knocked on the door. "Are you guys decent?" I yelled.
"Depends on what you call decent!" came the reply.
"Well do you have clothes on your bottom half?" asked Hermoine. There was a brief pause as we heard lots of noises coming from behind the door.
Finally there was a reply and we walked in. All five boys were still topless, but at least they had each put on some jeans. "What's up?" asked Neville as Hermione, Ginny and I each sat on a bed. Hermione and Ginny were with their boyfriends and I was on my stomach on Neville's bed.
"Right, shall we see what my family has to say?" I asked. After getting nods of agreement from everyone, I opened up the letter and started to read..
"Sabrina. Your mother, Aunt Narcissa and I are very dissapointed about the reports Draco has been sending us-"
I was interrupted by Dean who exclaimed, "So that's why he's been getting so many owls!"
"-Firstly we hear that you are under the impression that you will be spending the Christmas holidays with the Weasleys." I looked up from the letter and mouthed 'Le Duh' before continuing.
"Fortunatly I am able to tell you that as your mother has more control over your well being than your Uncle Dumbledore, you will be coming to Malfoy Manor on December 15th, with Draco and his friends. Whilst you are here, we will be celebrating Draco's 17th, your mother's birthday and of course Christmas." I stared at everyone in disbelief.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Ron exclaimed as Harry, Neville, Dean and Seamus also started to shout how ridiculous that seemed and how much of an idiot my uncle was. (Like I needed reminding??)
"OI!" housted Ginny as she and Hermoine dragged their boyfriends back to their beds. "Let's just find out what other rubbish the git's written, shall we?" | |
