Chapter 9

It was the afternoon of the next day and Hermione was in her room doing homework, while talking to her friend Ginny.

She sat there helplessly thinking about yesterday, laying on her bed with piles of homework around her on her bed. Ginny sat on the bed next to Hermione's, watching her fall into a daze.

"Hermione?" Ginny waved her hand in front of Hermione. She rolled her eyes and called her name again, until Hermione broke out of it.

"Wha? Oh.. Sorry Ginny. It's just... I can't believe he would do that to me. He's been such a good guy to me, that It is impossible to find him in the library with her!" A heavy sigh come out of her.

"It's Malfoy Hermione, what can you do."

When Hermione was about to reply to to that, a noise began outside. Both the girls looked at the window. There was nothing there, so they continued to talk. "I know I can't do a thing. I feel so stupid, because all I have done is took his side form you guys, and look what I get back- I hate him!! Hate him!!" Hermione cupped her hands over her face, while Ginny comfort her.

"Hermione." Said a deep sad voice of tone. Hermione looked up, then at the window. It was Malfoy on his broom.

She got out of her bed. "Don't talk to me Draco! I told you never to see me! Not even talk to me. We are done and thats finally! I.. I can't even to begin to see why you take advantaged of me yesterday.... I'll see you later Ginny." Ginny nodded, while Hermione walked down to the common room.

The Brown eyes of Ginny's glared deeply at Draco. " Seriously, I hope you're happy, Malfoy." She too got off the bed and made her way tot he door, but Draco stopped her when he said, "I'm not. Not one bit. I was going to explain what really happened. She didn't want to hear it. She said we were over and never wanted me to be near her, talk to her, see her, or even stare- nothing."

Ginny stared at him, feeling actually sorry. "Well, it's still your fault for what ever happen in that library. You lost her..." She look one more look at him, then shook her head, and walked down the stairs.

Hermione went on her way down to next class, few minutes after. Worst thing to find out, is that she had class with the slytherins.

As she walked down the halls, once again in a daze, kids rushed them selves to class. One guy bumped into her, causing her books to fall on the floor. He didn't bother to to help. The guy kept on walking.

Hermione bent down and picked up her books. Picking each book she found a hand placed on one her books. She looked up and found Draco right in front of her. She rolled her eyes, while also letting a angry and annoyed sigh. "Leave me the bloody hell alone. I can do things on my own, thank you very much." She snatched her book and got up, and began to walk off.

"Hermione, could you please let me explain things. Give me a bloody chance for merlin's sakes!!" He said also getting angry. She stopped right int he middle of the hall. Draco was surprised that she stopped, and a smile rose form his face.

"Fine! You have three minutes to quickly explain everything, pretty boy." She said, staring at him. Her eyes met with his sad Grey eyes.

"Ok, but don't start those three minutes now. We need to talk alone and with no interruptions." He tole her. He took her and before he rushed her somewhere he hear his name from you know who.

"There you are Draco!" Cynthia said from far in the halls. Her hand was waving back and forth so she could get his attention.

"Quickly!" He told Hermione. He pulled her and they ran for their lives.

Draco stopped once he got to his destination.He breathed heavily and so did Hermione. They walked into a empty dark room. He pulled her in and then at on a desk letting go of her hand. "Now listen closely. This all the truth. It all started when I was simply alone doing my homework in the library. As I was finishing up my work Cynthia came in and began to talk to me. We just talk and there was nothing more. I then had to find a book, so i could finish up my homework. She followed me and still talked to me. As we got into out talking she beings up my missed homework. She gives it me and we talk more. Then out of nowhere she kissed me, and well I yeah."

"That was it? OK, I trust you 98 percent, babe, but let me get this clear... she kissed you," Hermione said placing her finger on her chin and giving a let-me-get-this-straight look, "and what? You liked how she kissed you that you gave in?! Cause apparently you stopped at she kissed you and you and you say... yeah in an awkward way?"

"What more do you want form me? I told you it wasn't me, isn't that what you needed to know, Hermione?" Draco whined.

"What I want from you is to have never bothered to let her kiss you at all. You should have pushed her away!" She yelled at him.

Draco was about to fight back, but Hermione continued. "Oh, and guess what I found out. Your little evil Slytherin chick is having family problems and is forced to get married. So even though she thinks your drop dead hot, and wants you and might even actually like you because you are hot. She is needed to be married, when she doesn't even want to and when its all true that she gets guys from her other schools, she trying to avoid that fact she is getting married!" Tears began to flow down from her eyes. Her heart was racing so fast it was almost hard to breathe.

"I'm sorry 'Mione. I really am! Please, It just a stupid kiss. You are my life. My only one I want to love." He grabbed her and pulledher into his arms.

She stood there crying on his shoulder. "Draco...Draco!" She called his name as she cried.

Malfoy held her tight in his arms. "I'm here Hermione." As they both stood there in the dork of an empty room alone. Draco yet felt confused now. That kiss he had with Cynthia was amazing even though it wasn't right. Yeah, she was mean, but Thia was really pretty and hot. Then there was his Hermione. The one he loved. It was all confusing...

Hello sorry for the long wait! I finished all my exams and stuff just last week so I have a post! Enjoy!

Chapter 10:

The next day, things were pretty much back to normal except that Hermione refused to kiss Draco for a few days 'to get Cynthia's spit and breath out of your mouth,' as Hermione said.

"Come on!" Draco complained for the millionth time. "Why are you making a huge fuss about it?"

It was Friday when Hermione and Draco were in the library doing homework together.

"Because," Hermione said not taking her eyes of her Transfiguration's book. "I want to see if I can fully trust you again."

Draco sighed. "I told you I was sorry, what more do I need to do for you?"

"Pass me some parchment, please."

"What?" Draco asked, surprised. "That's all?"

"Ha?" Hermione asked looking at him.

"That's all I need to do?"

"Draco what are you talking about?" said Hermione beginning to get annoyed. "Will you please pass me a piece of parchment?"

Draco passed it to her silently, his smile turning to a sad one.

"Draco," said Hermione sighing. "After what happened, it's not that easy to forget and go back to kissing you like it never happened." When he still looked down, she explained, "let's say you saw me kissing Ron" –Draco lifted his head angrily- "would you kiss me a day later like nothing happened?"

Draco didn't answer.

"Well, would you?"

"I guess not," said Draco not meeting her eyes.

"I need some fresh air," said Hermione closing her book and putting it back in her book bag. "Would you like to come?"

"Nah, I better finish this."

"Fine, suit your self then," said Hermione. She turned to leave but stopped. She knelt down and planted a kiss on his cheek. As walked away, she could swear he was smiling.

The next day Hermione found herself in the common room talking to Lavender Brown about boys. Yes, she was talking to Lavender Brown.

"If I were you, Draco Malfoy would be long gone," Lavender said.

"Yes," said Hermione sighing. "But I love him to much to let him go."

"Hermione, he cheated on you! If he sees how easy you forgave him, he won't hesitate to do it again and you will keep giving in."

"Are you sure?"

"Trust me," Lavender said reassuringly. "I know. I have experience."

Yes. Trust Lavender Brown to have experience with boys. She was practically in love with every single boy in the school! Girls always came to her for advice and Hermione never thought that she'd be one of them. That she'd ever have a boy problem.

"So, you're saying I should brake up with him?" Hermione asked, knowing what Lavender's answer would be.

"Well, if you're convinced that you two are perfect for each other than, I would suggest that you do something about the Slytherin girl he kissed. What was her name?"

"Cynthia."

"Right," said Lavender. "Cynthia."

"What should I do about her?" Hermione asked knowing exactly what Lavender would say.

"Revenge," said Lavender and Hermione together with raised eyebrows.
