Bridget Hartzler | Draco's With Who? - Sa16+ Hey everyone! This is a story about Draco and a girl named Mallory. It starts off with when they first met. And then after that it's all pretty much downhill because... well, I won't give it away. By the way, Draco's point of view will be in green and Mallory's will be in purple. So here it is and tell me what you think!!! <3 Chapter 1
Draco checked the clock above the door of the little, cozy tea shop for the umpteenth time. It was quarter to one. Using the back of his spoon, he fixed his platinum blonde hair and practiced his infamous smirk. The small tea shop reminded Draco of Madame Puddifoot's in Hogsmeade. Except there was no pink. And no Pansy.
He couldn't glance at the clock again. It would only make him more anxious. So, he read over the note sitting on the table in front of him. It was on a piece of white paper and written in curly-cue handwriting. According to the note, Draco would soon be joined by pureblood, 15 year old girl named Mallory Roberts. Draco smirked at the thought again. Brilliant. Mallory knew that arriving early would benefit her. She sat outside on a bench wearing sunglasses and holding up a newspaper to her face. Soon after that, a tall boy about 16 with platinum blonde hair passed by her. He had a smug look on his face, his nose up in the air almost as if to say I'm better than you. Mallory rolled her eyes. You can tell a lot about a person by simply watching them.
This had to be Draco Malfoy, the boy she was meeting that day at one o' clock. He walked into the tea shop and sat down at one of the tables. Once in a while, he would glance anxiously at the clock. Mallory grinned to herself. He was anxious to meet her. Stealing another glance, she could see Draco holding up his spoon. He looked at the back of it and checked his hair. Then, he smirked. Conceited much? But Mallory had to admit, it was a cute smirk. Checking her watch, Mallory sighed and decided to just enter and save Draco from another five minutes of anxiety. So, she stood up, took off her sunglasses, and marched in. Draco looked up at the sound of the door's bell. A girl about a head shorter than himself was coming in. She walked right up to him and sat down. This must have been Mallory. She wasn't strikingly beautiful, but very decent in Draco's opinion. She was Asian, with long, dark hair and big, deep brown eyes. Her skin was golden-tan and her lips were a pale red. Decent. "Draco Malfoy?" she said, raising an eyebrow. Draco thought she looked very sophisticated.
"The one and only," he replied with one of his smirks. She smiled. "And you're Mallory."
"Couldn't have said it better myself," said Mallory. Draco decided she was a bit skeptical about him. So, he flashed her another grin.
"Can I get you something?" a tall woman in a blue and yellow checkered dress and apron asked them.
"Coffee," Draco answered.
"Can I get a bottle of water?" Mallory asked. The woman nodded and walked away. "It's funny, I don't like coffee or tea."
"Then why did you want to meet in a tea shop?" Draco asked. Mallory furrowed her brow. Draco pulled out the note, "Remember?"
Mallory's face looked even more confused and said, "That's weird. That's not my handwriting."
She pulled a pen from her bag and wrote her name on a napkin for Draco. She was right. Her handwriting wasn't the same curly-cue writing on the note. In fact, it was small and plain-looking.
"Strange," Draco admitted. He changed the subject, though, and said, "I can barely get through the day without coffee."
"Sounds like an addiction," Mallory said. Draco was a bit perplexed. He had never met a girl like Mallory. Her comments seemed to have an edge to them. Almost like she was testing him. When he gazed into her eyes, she didn't look away like a lot of other girls at Hogwarts. Instead, she gazed back with her lovely deep brown eyes. Draco was determined to try and win her over. "Sounds like an addiction," Mallory said, twirling her spoon in her fingers. That one left Draco Malfoy a bit speechless. She could almost have burst out laughing.
The woman returned with their drinks. Mallory took a sip of her water.
"Do you live around here?" Draco asked.
"Yea, just down the street and around the corner," Mallory replied. "With Mum and Dad. And I've got a younger brother. You?"
Draco shook his head.
"Nah, I don't live 'round here," he said. "And, I'm an only child."
"You know what they say about kids with no siblings, right?" Mallory asked with the perfect hint of mysteriousness.
"Please share," Draco said, leaning over the table.
"Well, that they're stuck up," Mallory said. This just made Draco smirk even more.
"Is that all?" he asked playfully.
"Oh, I'm sure there's more," Mallory replied. She grinned to show him that she was joking.
"Aha, but what do they say about the eldest sister?" Draco said, using the same tone Mallory had used.
"I don't know, what?" she asked, leaning over the table as well. Draco smirked.
"Well, that they fall for the bad boys, of course," he said.
"You made that up," she said, laughing. Draco seemed to be pleased that he had gotten her to lighten up. However, when Mallory leaned back into her chair to take another sip of water, he looked a bit diappointed. "So how come I never see you at school? What house are you in?" Draco asked. Mallory spit out the water in her mouth.
"Sorry, what house?" she repeated.
"Oh, you don't go to Hogwarts?" Draco said, confused. She shook her head.
"Well, no," she said. "You do, then?"
"Yes," Draco replied. Something about the way Mallory was shocked told Draco to drop the subject for the time being.
Half an hour later, Draco walked out of the tea shop with plans to meet Mallory again the following weekend. She had avoided any more questions about school, but did speak easily with him about Quidditch. She acted so strange. Draco wondered what it was about her that just didn't seem right.

Bridget Hartzler | Hey everyone! I'm back. I might not finish this chapter entirely today but I'll start. A special shout out to Alice who reads all of my stories! And to all of my readers, you guys are the best!! <33 Abbe Chapter 2 Mallory hurried away from the tea shop, eager to get home and rest. Her head was spinning. Draco was amazing, no matter how much she didn't want to admit it. Smug, arrogant, conceited, funny, smart, hot.... Oh, what was she thinking?! He was a wizard. A pureblood wizard. And he thought she was as well.
Mallory scoffed as she walked down the crowded streets. Her? A pureblood witch? No! She was the farthest thing from it: a muggle. A normal, non-magical muggle. She felt a slight pang of guilt as she turned up the driveway. But she didn't really lie to Draco about her blood status, did she? She didn't say anything about it. Actually, Mallory had avoided the subject altogether.
She opened the front door and entered the house. Quietly, she crept past her mother sleeping on the couch and up the stairs to her room. Once inside, she flopped onto her emerald green bed. The color reminded her of Draco. Surely he was a Slytherin. There really was no doubt about it. Sighing, she rolled over.
Mallory could find no sleep. She could only worry about her next meeting with Draco. He seemed so eager to see her again, although she could sense his suspicion. What would happen when he found out she was exactly what Slytherins hated? Draco was in no hurry to get home. He wasn't in town for nothing. A good day away from home was exactly what he needed. No pestering from his father and mother about "that delightful Pansy Parkinson" among other things. Draco shuddered. No use spoiling a perfectly good day.
He walked past a girl in a blue an bronze dress. Like a Ravenclaw. Coincidence? She did look a bit familiar. However, Draco sped past. For some reason, the colors reminded him of Mallory. He was so sure that if she went to Hogwarts she would have been sorted into Ravenclaw. He smiled to himself. No, not a smirk, a smile.
Draco stopped abruptly on the crowded street. What had that girl done to him? Mallory Roberts was so unbearably witty, know-it-all, intelligent, cute. She was beautiful, not hot, beautiful. Draco could have almost slapped himself in the face. Mallory was almost a female version of him. He really wanted to make her smirk the way he did the next time they saw each other.
His stomach did a small flip to think about their next meeting. Draco thought back to when he watched her hurry away from the tea shop. Then, he noticed for the first time that Mallory had curves. Draco sharply inhaled. Just thinking about her was intoxicating.
But then again, Mallory was very mysterious. And he couldn't decide whether it was a good thing or a bad thing. Draco couldn't help but wonder what school she went to. It was obvious that she knew a lot about Hogwarts, but she just wouldn't admit to being a student there. What was her deal?
The theories that ran through Draco's mind about Mallory made his head spin. No girl had ever done this to him before. Sitting on a bench, he could only shut his eyes and think of ways to convince Mallory to give him one big, Malfoy smirk. |

I guess we'll find that out eventually though, right? | You sure as heck will find out!!! <33 Abbe Chapter 3 Draco drew a deep breath and stuck his hands into his pockets. After escaping to his room from the clutches of his parents, he felt as if he finally could breathe. Withdrawing his hands out from his pocket, Draco pulled out the note that had (supposedly) been sent to him by Mallory about meeting that day in the tea shop. He sat down at his desk, turned on the lamp, and squinted at the writing. It was written in big, curly-cue handwriting.
Draco reached into his other pocket and took out Mallory's other note about their next meeting and held it up next to the first. Indeed, the difference was noticeable. Very noticeable. Mallory's true handwriting was small and plain, with the y's and g's tails curled at the end and her i's dotted with a single, tiny dot. Something wasn't right at all. Mallory sat at the kitchen table in the dim light with a bowl of cereal in front of her. Absentmindedly, she stirred the cereal. But her mind was elsewhere. Mallory couldn't get it out of her head that Draco had truly thought she had sent him the note about meeting. Not the other way around. Feeling around in her pajama pants pocket, she pulled the note she had recieved out and put it on the table. It was written in green pen (or was it ink?) and looked pretty fancy to her. Of course. Rich, pureblood family.
Shaking away her thoughts, Mallory realized her cereal was already soggy. She made a face and dumped it all down the sink. Eww. But, she convinced herself it was a good thing. Her mother had told her not to eat before bed. She was always telling Mallory that she needed to lose weight. Mallory sighed. She wondered if Draco agreed. No! she thought. Why in the world would I care if Draco thinks I should lose weight? But Mallory knew why. It was because Draco had truly swept her off her feet. No boy had ever done that to her before! Fussing about his hair was not always a big deal for Draco. It always looked perfect anyway. Checking his appearance one last time, he smirked at his reflection as he always did. Then, he remembered what Mallory had said. You know what they say about kids with no siblings, right? That they're stuck up... Was he really stuck up? Nah. Mallory waited patiently outside the movie theater for Draco. Okay, so maybe not that patiently. She paced on the sidewalk with her handbag (which she had stuffed with candy and soda). Movie theater food was way out of her budget. Finally, Draco arrived, almost out of nowhere. She just turned around and there he was!
"Oh, Draco!" she said with a gasp. "You startled me."
Draco gave her a smirk and said, "Sorry."
"It's fine," Mallory said. Draco was wearing jeans and a black shirt, which contrasted handsomely with his pale hair. Ever since she had learned Draco was a pureblood wizard, Mallory had always pictured him in black Hogwarts robes with the Slytherin crest on the front. But now in his muggle clothing, Draco looked amazing.
"Good. Let's go in, shall we?" Draco said, slipping an arm around her waist. His touch sent a shiver through Mallory's body.
After buying tickets, Mallory led Draco into the cool, dark theater and to a spot near the middle of the rows and rows of seats. She plopped down and patted the seat beside her. Draco obliged, sitting down quite gracefully and resting his arm around her shoulder. The movie started and the lights dimmed even more. Mallory was a bit cold and she just couldn't resist slipping her hand into Draco's warm one. Something cold found its way into Draco's hand. It was Mallory's hand. Draco smiled at her and began rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. She smiled back. No, she was smirking, a perfect imitation of the infamous Malfoy smirk. Mission accomplished.
The movie was beginning and Draco looked at Mallory's face. The flashing, bright colors from the screen danced on her face, illuminating it, making it glow. He tightened his grip on her shoulder. Draco could feel her flinch slightly, hear her sharp intake of breath.
Leaning down to Mallory's ear, he whispered, "I want something sweet."
"I brought candy if you want any," she whispered back, showing him her handbag.
"No thanks. I was thinking maybe something else," Draco whispered. He gave her a sexy smirk for effect. Mallory blinked her big, brown eyes.
"We're sitting right in the middle of the theater," Mallory hissed.
"We can change that," Draco replied. He stood up quietly, took Mallory's hand, and led her to the back of the theater. "Better?" Draco whispered in Mallory's ear. She could feel his lips brushing against her ear and she nodded.
"Very much so," she said with a mischeivous smile.
"Aha, so Mallory Roberts isn't as uptight as she seems," Draco said.
"I am not uptight," Mallory hissed. Draco raised his eyebrows.
"Okay, sorry," he said. Then, he leaned closer to Mallory. His breath on her face was warm. The smell of his hair lingered in her nostrils. "Well?"
Draco's hand was on her back. Mallory straightened up so that they were at the same height. Then, before she could do anything, Draco's hand pushed her forward and she fell headlong into his steel grey eyes. He kissed her softly, as if he wasn't sure if she was okay with this. As if he wanted her to kiss back. And Mallory did kiss back. As soon as she did, Draco began kissing harder and running his long fingers through her dark, dark hair.
What was she doing? Mallory couldn't be doing this. Not now. Draco didn't know she was a muggle. What would happen if he did? She couldn't bear to think about it. Draco must have noticed her shivering because he drew her closer to his warm body. As Draco's kisses began traveling down her neck, Mallory shoved him away. Draco looked so confused. He was breathing heavily and his chest heaved.
"I'm sorry, Draco," she said. Draco just gave her a small smile. Oh, God, I've hurt his feelings, she thought.
"It's okay," he replied. Then, he slipped his arm once again around her shoulders. Mallory couldn't help but rest her head on Draco's shoulder. What in the world did he do to her? With Mallory's head on his shoulder, her sweet aroma filled Draco's nose. She was a good kisser. He licked his lips with the thought of her bittersweet taste on his tongue. Inwardly, though, he reprimanded himself. He had only just met her the other day. Then again, he was Draco Malfoy, the hot, Slytherin prince. He grinned to himself and watched the rest of the movie with Mallory leaning on him and her soft breath on his arm.
