Chapter 10: Dumbledore Fooled, Remus not.
Cedric, Hermionem Harry & Sirius all walked back up to the castle.
They walked to the Headmaster's office.
Harry knocked on the door.
They walked in when a "come in." was uttered.
"What brings you here and who is this person?" Dumbledore asked, looking over his half-moon spectacles, smiling.
"Professor, are there any jobs going?" Hermione asked.
"Um, we used the Veritaserum to prove it was the real person." Cedric said.
"Why? Does this man want a job?" Dumbledore asked.
"Yes, sir. If it's not too much trouble." Sirius said.
"What is your name?" Dumbledore asked.
"He's Professor Mathers." Harry piped up.
"Daniel Mathers." Sirius said.
"Ah, we have a student teacher taking Potions with your same first name." Dumbledore said. "What's your best forte?"

“What kind of something?” Ginny asked, standing up.
“Just something.” Hermione said, picking up Amethyst from the sofa Ginny had been sitting on. “You know you should never leave babies on places they could fall from unattended.” she added and stalked upstairs to the Girls Dormitories.
Ginny sighed and followed a few minutes later.
The next morning, Hermione awoke. She looked over at Amethyst.
She was giggling and lightly batting a little stuffed lion with her tiny hands.

Hermione walked into the bathroom, quickly showered and brushed her teeth.
She walked back into the dorm after drying off. She dressed into her uniform and picked Amethyst up from her cot and conjured a bottle for her and fed her.
She walked down to the Common Room to where Harry was sitting and looking into the fire.
“Harry?” she whispered.
He looked up to her. “Hey.”
“How long have you been down here?” she asked.
He didn’t answer.
“You didn‘t go to bed last light did you” she stated.
He shook his head.
“Why not?” she asked gently.
“Couldn‘t sleep. I see the same face over and over again.” he whispered.
“Who?” she asked.
“Who do you think!?” he snapped.
“Sorry.” she whispered and hugged him. “Come on, lets go to the Great Hall.”
The two slowly walked out of the Common Room, Amethyst giggling.
When they got to the Great Hall the noise of the Gryffindor Table quietened.
They walked to the Table.
“What’s going on?” Harry asked.
“Nothing, mate.” Ron said, looking at Hermione and her baby.
“Is there a problem, Ron?” Hermione asked.
Ron was saved from answering when Dumbledore cleared his throat. Cedric
quickly sat next to Hermione.
“Students, I‘d like you to welcome two new teachers to our school. Professor Mathers who will help Professor Lupin in your Defence Against The Dark Arts lessons. And a newly graduated Professor Radcliffe will be taking over Potions lessons, as Professor Snape has retired from the subject, to be grumpy else where.”
The hall full of students errupted into cheers.
Remus looked over at Sirius or “Professor Mathers” and smirked knowingly.
After breakfast, Remus and Sirius walked to Harry, Hermione and Cedric.
“This is very risky. You know that, right, Harry?” Remus asked.
Harry nodded. “I just don‘t want him fearing his life. At least here no harm can
come to him.” he said.
“Thank you, cub.” Sirus smiled and hugged him.

Chapter 11: Hermione falls for someone else?
The next morning, Hermione sat next to Harry at the Gryffindor Table at breakfast.
She fed Amethyst but didn’t eat anything herself.
“Mione, are you okay?” Harry asked.
She nodded. She looked over to Professor Radcliffe. She took in his untamed, wild mop of dark hair, his sea blue eyes, his face, arms, hands, the way he ran his hand through his already wild hair as he laughed.
He reminded her of a blue-eyed Harry.
“Mione.” Harry looked at her.
No answer.
He clicked his fingers in front of her face and snapped her out of her reverie.
“You alright?” he asked.
She nodded and glanced back to Professor Radcliffe, who was now making his way down the Hall to his classroom.
Cedric walked into the Hall and walked over to Hermione.
“Hey.” he greeted and kissed her.
“Hi.” she smiled.
Amethyst reached out for Cedric, making them both smile.
Hermione handed her to Cedric, who sat the and gently ticked her.
Amethyst’s giggles warming their hearts greatly.
“Mione, you alright? You seem a bit off.” he asked, looking at her pale face.
“Sorry. I‘m fine. Just didn‘t get much sleep.” she lied. She didn’t want to worry him by saying she felt she had a head-cold.
“Hermione come on, Potions is about to start in five minutes.” Lavendar said.
Hermione nodded and kissed Cedric on his lips and Amethyst on her forehead and walked out with Lavendar and Harry.
