"I'm going back to my dormitory. See you later guys." Hermione said and started to walk off to the Gryffindor Common Room. She got to her dormitory and started to write two notes. One for Cedric and one for her parents.

After four hours of writing the notes and reading her books, she finally proceeded to the Slytherin dungeons with the notes.

'What did Ginny say the password was...?' she thought.

"The bloody Baron." a voice said, making Hermione jump.

She turned and saw Janine, a little shorter than her own four foot eleven inches.

"You're short for a sixth year." she said to Hermione as the two of them walked into the common room.

"I know." Hermione said. She spotted Draco and walked to him.

"Draco can I use your owl? I need to send a couple of letters."

"Yeah sure, he's in the dorm. No-one should be in there." he said.

hermione walked up to the boy's dormitories, but the stairs turned into a slide and slid her on to her rear end.

"Draco someone's in there!"

Draco ran up to her and gently lifted her up. He walked her up into the dorms.

"Caesar!" he called, holding out his arm.

The only large barn owl in the room fluttered over to him and perched happily on his arm.

"Go on, hold him." Draco said.

Hermione looked nervous.

"Go on. He's not going to peck you to death." he said jokingly.

Hermione glared at him and reluctantly held out her arm.

Caesar took in who Hermione was, abd perched himself contentedly on her shoulder, gently nipping her ear affectionately.

She brushed her fingers over his soft talons and giggled when he nipped her ear affectionately again.

"Harry's owl doesn't like me." she said, rolling up her sleeves to show beak marks where Hedwig attacked her.

"Potter's owl probably doesn't like anyone but him. The bloody thing pierced Ginny's neck in a fury, it narrowly missed one of the important veins. I could've killed it if I wasn't so worried about Ginny." he said.

"When?" she asked, shocked.

"An hour ago." he said.

"Is she ok?" she asked.

"Yeah she's in the hospital wing." he said as Hermione tied both the notes to Caesar's leg.

She took him to the window and said, "One goes to Cedric Diggory in the Hufflepuff tower, the other goes to my parent's clinic, Granger's dentistry clinic in Muggle London."

Caesar gave a hoot of understanding and took off to his destinations.


**Hufflepuff Tower**

"Diggory!!" Malcome Preece shouted from the Boy's Dormitory.

Cedric emerged from his shower, his wet hair stuck messily to his head, and he wore a fluffy canary yellow bathrobe. "Yeah?" he asked.

"There's a note for you." Malcome said.

"And that couldn't wait until I was finished?" he asked sarcastically.

"Nope." Malcome smirked.

Cedric rolled his eyes and took the note from his friend.

Dear Cedric, I know we're not together anymore but there's something you need to know.

I know you're back with Cho, I don't intend on hurting anyone. It's your choice if you want to be in your child's life or not, Cedric. Cedric stood, shocked.

"What is it, mate?" Malcome asked.

Cedric passed the note to his friend, who read it over.

"Bloody hell. What you going to do?" he asked Cedric.

"I don't know. She's keeping it, so it's always going to be there, you can't brush it under the carpet lke you could if she aborted." Cedric said.

"You're on your own there then, mate. Sorry. I'll help you along the way but I'm not making your mind up." Malcome said.

Cedric sat on his bed, and thought about the right thing to do.

"Diggory in-coming." Draco said?

"Hide?" Millicent suggested.

"I'll tell you when I'm ready for you." Hermione said.

The others went to the nearest staute and hid behind it, pushing each other into a secret passage.

Cedric walked out of the Hall to Hermione.

"What do you want?" Hermione asked, her eyes a pained shade of hazel.

"I want to help with the baby..." he said. "If you still want me to."

"Cedric, I still love you. Really, I do, you can't imagine how much. But I'm dying. I'm dying whilst carrying your baby, OUR baby. He or she will only know me a few months, and I'll be gone. Do you want to know what that feels like?" she said, tears coming to her eyes.

Cedric said nothing.

"These things themselves kill me inside. Like I said, only 10/9 months I'll be able to see our baby, then I will die. He or she won't have another parent or guardian to go to, they will be taken into care by a total stranger who might treat them bad. Do you still love me? Because getting back just for the baby isn't good enough. they will pick up that we don't really love each other and will think it's their fault." Hermione said.

"I know. What I did to you was a mistake. I thought I didn't love you anymore." he said.

"What are you saying?" Hermione asked, careful not to get her hopes up. "I'm saying it's been you all along. I'm so sorry." Cedric said and hugged her.

She remembered how good it felt to be in his arms and threw her arms around him, crying into his shoulder.

The hideaways came from the passage to the pair.

"Mess her around Diggory, and I highly doubt the girls will stop me stringing you up by your essentials." Ginny said, making Draco, Cedric and Blaise squirm.

Hermione turned and hugged Ginny and she, Ginny, Millicent and Pansy giggled.

"He's going to help." Hermione said.

None of the group saw Cedric conjure up a royal blue, velvet box.

"Mione?" Cedric said.

"Hm?" she asked. As she turned around, she found him kneeling in front of her.

*gasps* OMG hes gonna propose!!!!!! OMG!!!!! PAMS!!!!
