Awwww how sad! PAMS

The three of them walked down to the Great Hall. The food was already on the plates and the golden goblets were filled with pumpkin juice. Ginny pulled Hermione over to the Slytherin Table, Draco following.

Hermione sat in between Blaise and Millicent. She looked over at Cedric on the Hufflepuff Table, laughing and joking with his friends.

Hermione ou have to move on." Pansy said softly, who was sitting the other side of the Table next to Blasie's sister Janine.

She hadn't noticed she was crying. "It's not that easy ..."

"I know, but he's already moved on" Pansy said.

She watched Cedric get up and move to the Ravenclaw Table to where Cho was sitting.

She looked down at her steak pie on her plate and pushed it away. "I'm not really hungry ..."

"What's the matter Hermione? You don't need to starve yourself to get people to like you." Blaise said rubbing her arm.

"Nah, she needs plastic surgery, she's too ugly!" Malcom Leech said. He was always making snide comments in their lower-grade Potions class.

Hermione picked up the chocolate Frog Blaise handed her and nibbled on it, though it still looked rather untouched.

"Come on, ignore what that prat Malcom said. You don't need to alter a thing about you. You're pretty as you are." Millicent said.

"Says the girl who had me in headlock this time four years ago." Hermione mumbled.

"I said sorry for that like a million times!" Millicent said.

"Doesn't matter." Hermione said.

"How come you get so skinny?" Janine asked.

"She's anorexic." Blaise said.

"No I'm not. I've got ... health problems." she told him.

"Yeah. And my sister's a Gryffindor." Blaise said jokingly.

"Hey!" Janine called out, offended by her brother.

"Oh shut your whinging." he told her.

Janine pouted and turned to her smaller brunnette friend and started insulting Blaise loud enough for him to hear. He kicked her under the table, she kicked him back, smirking. She turned back to her friend and talked animatedly.

Blaise kicked her again.

Hermione lost her temper and she and Ginny hit him in his soft spot.

Blaise scowled and folded his arms across himself in pain.

"Serves you right, now stop it." Hermione Snapped.

Janine smirked triumphantly.

"You can stop provoking him as well." Hermione told her.

Janine scowled just like her brother. She thought she could get away with it. Apparently not anymore.

"Put your faces straight you two!" Pansy said, laughing.

The brother and sister glared and scowled even more, making Hermione, Draco, Ginny, Millicent and Pansy laugh.

"I'm going to the library." Hermione said after a bit.

"You've hardly eaten." Draco told her.

"I don't feel well." she whispered.

Draco nodded, turning back to Ginny.

Hermione got up and left, but diverted quickly to the neareast girl's toilets and threw up.

'What's wrong with me?' she thought. 'It can't be my illness and allergy... It's gone on for three months. Oh no ... Don't tell me I'm not ... please tell me no ...'

She rushed to the Hospital Wing.

"Miss Granger, what's wrong?" Madame Pomfrey asked.

Hermione walked into the Matron's office.

Moments later, she emerged from the Hospital Wing with a little box and she slipped it into her robe pockets.

Chapter 3: Test positive

August came rolling by, the little box still left untouched under her pillow.

Her fourth month of being sick more than usual.

'I've had enough of this...' she thought and took the little box and walked to the girls' toilets.

She didn't emerge from there until she heard Draco and Pansy call her name. She hid the little plastic stick in her pocket and walked out just as Draco spotted her.

"What is it, Draco?" she asked.

"You were missing for three hours, we just worried about you." he said.

'Three hours? I thought it was only a few minutes...' she thought.

"You ok? You don't look well." he asked.

"Yeah," she lied, not looking at him.

"You lie." he said. "You lie, you're not looking at me."

She stamped her left foot as usual when she got caught out of a lie. She took out her little, white plastic stick and handed it to Draco.

There was a tiny blue plus sign on the stick.

"Do you know who's it is?" he asked.

"C-Cedric's. I've only been with one person." she said.

"You going to tell him? Do you even know what you want to do?"

She shook her head. "I am going to tell him though."

Draco nodded. "Do you want anyone to know?"

"Just our little group." she whispered, knowing that right now in her time of need, she needed her friends' support.

"Hermione's pregnant." Draco said.

"With Diggory's baby?" she asked.

"How did you know?" he asked.

"Girls talk." she told him.
