I think we should talk about why Hermione, being a muggle born and knowing nothing of magic before she recieved her letter, decided to go to Hogwarts.

I have another idea!
I think we should talk about if Hermione regrets becoming friends with Harry. Since she befriended him, her life has been full of danger and chaos. Do you think she regrets it?

I know we are in desperate need of new discussions, so here are a few suggestions:
1. The Sorting Hat had considered putting Hermione into Ravenclaw at first then it decided on Gryffindor. Does that mean that she was more brave than she was smart? Would she still have been best friends with Ron and Harry if she were sorted into Ravenclaw? How would the series have turned out if she weren’t there to lead Harry and Ron into the right path?

2. Hermione's Seventh Year at Hogwarts. How did she spend her seventh year at Hogwarts, without everyone she loved and was accustomed to being there; Dumbledore, Harry, Ron, Snape [I wouldn't say she exactly loved him, but], and all the other students in her year that didn't come back. How did it go?
3. Hermione and Ron as Parents. They have adorable kids: Rose and Hugo. How do you think they did at raising their kids? Was Ron still the comic he was and was Hermione still as stern or did she loosen up?
4. The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. After Voldemort was killed, Hermione worked for the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures where she improved the quality of life for house-elves and other disenfranchised creatures. We all know that this was one of Hermione’s passions, sticking up for those who didn’t have a voice of their own. And, we also know that the wizarding community didn’t like to be told that they were doing things the wrong way (treating magical creatures as if they were inferior to wizards). What kind of challenges did Hermione face in bringing about changes in a system that was older than she was?
5. The Department of Magical Law Enforcement. After working with the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Hermione worked for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement where she put an end to pro-pureblood laws. How did you think this went? Hermione did not care for the pureblood laws of the wizarding world, but the old pureblood families did. How did the wizarding world react to Hermione’s exploits, did they embrace it or did they protest against it?
That's all I can think of right now, but as soon as I have any more I'll post them.
