Hermione Discussion #2 : The Future

We all know the date for Harry Potter 7 is July 21 and after we're finished reading we'll know how the story ends and what Hermione's future will be. But that doesn't mean we still can't make predictions, right? Post here what you think will happen to Hermione in Book 7 and beyond such as what job she'll get, who'll she'll marry or if she'll even survive the war with Voldemort. Post away, all SS rules apply.

I think she will end up with....*shudders*I don't want it to happen but.........Ron.

She will definately survive the battle against oul' Voldie-Woldie,she's too smart to die!!*giggles*

I can't see Hermione getting a job......I just can't find one that would suit her,except for hogwarts Librarian!!

I think she will become an excellent auror, and get together with Ron Weasley. She will survive the final war with Lord Voldemort. If, I don't want to say this but...if Harry does die...*sniffs*, she's going to suffer a hard time.

Hmm. Well I definetly see her ending up with Ron...unless you know something happens to either of them. And if Harry does die then she will probably have an emotional break down for a bit...well everyone will really. And I can see her being a teacher or some kind of politician. She said she never really wanted to be an Auror...but if she did then I bet she would be really good. But I think after all the bad things that are undoubtfully going to happen in the next book I think Ron will be the person she turns too. Personally. *dies* I want to know the ending...but then I don't!

I too think Hermione will survive. Hermione is smart and very practical. Should either Harry or Ron die in the battle, she will be sorely hurt, but will want to keep busy. There are two ways I could see her going career-wise. Teaching might be a choice she would make, but I don't see that lasting for her, at least as a main ambition. Hermione has very strong feelings on what's right and wrong, and I think that makes her quite political. Eventaully, if not right away, I could see her joining the Ministry and successfully working her way up the political ladder to wher she could actually do something, like being inducted into the Wizengamot or perhaps, eventually becoming the Mistress of Magic herself!

she will be with rin J.K has already announced that. I think she will probably be a auror as will ron and harry. Librairian? lol... yes that does suit her. Miss weasley who do you want with hermoine?

I think she'll become an auror and marry Ron. And have kids.

I hope that Hermione lives!

She would probably marry someone and have kids. Either become an auror or a teacher at Hogwarts. Don't you think?

I have a hunch we might see from krum in the last book... what do you guys think?

We might..........maybe he is with Voldmort. (that would make Ron happy )

I think she might die trying to save Harry, or Ron, not that I want that to happen or anything...... If she doesn't die, I bet she ends up with Ron.

lol yeah... I thought he would purpose to hermione in front of ron or when ron was just about to..... that would tick ron off.......the book would be even more interesting

She is going to survive the war.
She is going to work either at Hogwarts or at Ministry!
She is going to marry Ron (hopefully they'll both survive) noone else but him!

Well, I have a slight feeling that Hermione might go for Harry. She may become the Headmistress of Hogwarts and make the school run smoothly. She will have kids too and will be a good Headmistress as well as a mother and a wife.

1]if harry lives..-she n harry will somehow get together..maybe cuz of wht they been thru,harry makes a move 4 her..if he sees ron dun or ron is dead etc...harry makes a move 2 show his feelings 4 hermione in a non platonic way...they end up being a couple..n later marry...

2] if harry lives...besides marriage/love..hermione has a star career/prospect 4 her...she could be anything she wants...
n i only c her as an auror.. nothing else..someone in a v powrful position,maybe even as minister of magic..she's cool,she's smart,powerful,diplomatic..all ingredients 4 a v good/capable minister...
if she's an auror,she'd be a head of secret service/detective field..or maybe head of division or overall leader..something of tht..as time goes by..

3]now..if harry dies..hermione will go back 2 d muggle world..she mourns him v deeply..when n if she's ready,she'll live again in d wizard world who r bound 2 cheer her 2 no end..
if sh'e not ready,she'll live her days as a muggle,do some job,maybe marry or not..a long uneventful life,or a short meaningful one...

4]she may end up w. ron or some man...dunno..but she may run 2 ron out of need 4 someone 2 comfort..it may last..but i think not,when she realises this...

5]ron may haf a drastic change if he lives n harry dies..thr's nothing 2 say tht his ffeling 4 hermione will n alwiz bd same...

6]hermione may pine n not love again cuz she much regrets she never told harry tht she loves him so..soppy..but it may b true...

what makes you say she likes harry??????

-Maybe a healer or a headmistress... OR MAYBE the first muggle-born minister!!!
-with Harry if he dont die... ( i want that to happen)
-if harry die, she probably will be a spinster or maybe... RON but thats my second option.
-she will have a good life if she dont die

I think that she will live and she and Ron wil get together.

I also think that she'll kill a death-eater and that will eat at her consicence.

^whoa thats intense! i would agree with that... Maybe she will kill Draco Malfoy or Lucius? Or maybe Dolohov or Bellatrix Lestrange.

Personally i think Draco is neutral in the war but thats totally off the point.

I don't think that she is evil, but sometimes in order to do good, one must do bad. Really profound isn't it?

^Yes... Well I doubt Hermione will be evil but she will do something bad because its the right thing to do just like Harry have to kill a person (Voldemort) because its is the right way.

well if she did go evil ron and harry will definatly be done for.....

i really think that she'll survive and marry ron.but she says that she doesnt want to become an auron.but if she does she'll make a really good one!
