Hermione Discussion #12: Hermione & Ron

Most of us have read Deathly Hallows and have seen that, after much anticipation, Ron and Hermione FINALLY kissed, got married and had little Rose and Hugo But what else happened in their marriage? How do you even think Ron proposed? Post your ideas here =D

I would hope that he did something romantic, but knowing Ron....well, you never know.
She probably felt a sudden surge of compassion because Ron remember her SPEWish fixation and she herself was surprised that she didn't think of it herself.

Haha I know what you mean! Poor Ron though.. I bet he really wanted to propose all romantically to Hermione but somehow or another he messed it up. I can just imagine his ears turning slightly pink and his face flushing.

I can also imagine Ron and Hermione having a lot of little arguements. With Hermione and her temper and Ron and his moodswings. But they were (most of the time) an adorable and loving couple. ♥

I really don't like the fact that they both got married. I never liked them together. I would have rathered Hermione to get together with Harry or someone who is more like herself

I agree. I bet he tried to be romantic but it all went completely wrong. But I bet it was sweet.

I hope that one day she'll write something even if it's like a few pages long, I know that I would read it

I will admit that in the beginning I wished that Harry and Hermione would of been the ones to hook up but I think they are better off as good friends.

Seeing that Ron and Hermione hooked up and ended up getting married and having two kids is great. I was happy at the end that they ended up together. I think that they are a great couple.

I just wished that the story could continue and we would have more great adventures with their children.

I don't know, something about their immense 'hatred' towards each other in the first few books made me think and know that they would be the ones to get together in the end. You know, like that play hard to get sort of view, except well... they weren't. But sometimes the worst of friends, turn into the best lovers.

Regardless, how I think Ron proposed would be sort of an impromptu type thing. Shortly after the battle was won and Voldie was declared dead, I bet Ron just without even a moment to think he asked her because "it's now or never".

I do agree though that their wedding would be similar to Bill & Fleur's, except maybe even in Australia because Hermione would have wanted her parents there and so they traveled there to return her parents back to normal state.

^ I forgot about her parents. Well, wouldn't she have gotten them back as soon as she could?
Sorry back to Ron. In the beginning there is a lot of little kid crush going on with them, fights and what not, but I neer thought much of it till the HBP because with the H/G thing going on, who would that leave Hermione with?

^ exactly!! She would have gotten them back as soon as possible, but also surprised them by having her wedding down in Australia too. I repeat, Ron had said that it was now or never, so after that battle, even if they didn't have kids for a few years... they would want to get married right away regardless.

And yes, that is when many people probably started to notice them together; although even in GOF/OotP, you could see something forming when Ron seemed jealous of Hermione and Krum.

Yeah well......Ron was kinda a git duning that period of time, being as people say "a normal teenager"

Awww I don't know what Ron did to propose, but I bet it was something special but kind of corny...in a sweet way

I have a feeling Ron just sort of blurted it at her when he proposed. Ron's funny that way. Of course Hermione probably thought of it like the most romantic thing she could imagine since it was coming from him.

Ron was probably pretty tongue tied when he made his proposal, not being entirely sure of what words to say. It probably took longer than it should have and was very genuine and from the heart. I'm sure Hermione was moved by his sincerity!

I love this one .... personally even I hated Ron and Hermione together. I preferred Harry and Hermione much. Lolz, what would you expect from a H/Hr Shipper, thats me !!

I dont know why it was Hermione Weasely at last..I always wanted her to be that Hermione Potter.But Probably,J.K had no other choice.She could'nt have let Ron marry Ginny coz they're siblings.She had no other choice..I suppose..I wish H.P had'nt come to an end..
