Well, I'll go first.

I'm Tara, 20 years old and a college student. I've been at SS here a little over 3 years and joined shortly after reading OoTP. I began reading HP the year before and became addicted. From the start Hermione was my second favorite character (being beat only by Harry of course!) and followed by the Twins. I'm nothing like her but I just loved how she was so smart & didn't care what people thought of her answering every question. And the way she is with Harry and Ron, they are all the true meaning of friends and I find it so awesome how close they are. She is such an awesome person, I just can't help to love her. So when it came time to do all these fan clubs I was quick to jump up and say I wanted the Hermione Fan Club and I love it. Don't tell my other fan clubs but.....you guys are my favorite.

Hello all, I'm Brittany (or you can call me Britt) and I'm in highschool. I've been at SS for about a year and a half but I first discovered Harry Potter in the first grade. I didn't actually start reading it until beginning of third grade and immedieatly lovvedd it. So I've been a crazy-HP-obsessed fan since and gotten a lotta of people hooked as well on the way. My friends Emma (Simple_Spells) & Kaitlin (HemioneClone877) introduced me to this site.

Well, when I started reading the books I totally admired Hermione from the beginning. She's a total book-worm like me and freaks out when she gets like one tiny mistake on homework or tests and that's how I am as well. I also luved how she has total girl power like when she stands up for Hagrid and punches Malfoy. Hermione's also a born leader which is awesome too but then she also has a little girly side that she doesn't like to let show but we all know is there. My names Becca. But everyone on here calls me Mione I'm 15 years old (16 in 8 days! ) I love to read and watch movies. My favorite authors are: JK Rowling, JRR Tolkien, C.S Lewis, Lisa Klypas, Lemony Snicket, Victoria Alexander, Julia Quinn, Jane Austen, and many many more. I'm in the Marching Band and play the Alto Saxophone. I adore History. I'm a photographer. And I love to write poetry, FFs, and storied. (go creative writing!). I'm not very good in Math and Science. I can be very shy when you first meet me but give me a chance and you will see my true side (tis crazy )

Now on to Harry Potter and Hermione. Well, at first when the books came out I didn't want to read them. Because I wasn't a very good reader. I had a lot of trouble when I was younger and I avoided books like the plague. My entire family read alot so it was embarassing. My sister Rachel got the books for her birthday the year they came out and my entire family read them. They would talk about them and tell me to read them. I'd tell them I was going to, but never really wanted to. But than the first movie came out and we went to go see it. And I was hooked. I started to get interested. So that night after we saw the movie I went home and started reading the first one. And than thats all I would do that summer. Was read those books. Harry Potter were the books that got me reading. Thats something I'll always remember . Now Hermione. Well I loved Hermione when i saw the movie. Because I could relate to the not having friends so much. Because that year I started Middle School and had none of my friends in any of my classes or my lunch. And as I said, I'm very very shy. And I didn't have any friends that year. Unless you count on those rare occasions when we could get together out of class. All I did was study really really hard. And, after HP, read alot. Hermione has been a sort of role model, you know? Hermione is smart, down to earth, sarcastic, funny, loving, brave, hard working, and wonderful. I also loved how she was always "one of the guys" till her fourth year. How that year she came out of her cocoon. (sp?) Stunned everyone. Now that is brave too. I just love her character!

Hermione is a down to earth character that anyone can relate to. She is bright helpful, funny and understanding. She is friendly and she can be fierce where she sees injustice. She is loyal and will stand up for her self and others. That is why I like her so much. She is a complex character with many moods and emotions but understandable to all ages.

Hi, All! I am the one with two names. My birth cert says Michele, but my Native American name is what I go by as much as I can. It is Tatewin, pronounced Ta Tay Ween, which means "Weather "Woman or "Wind Woman" in the Lakota Sioux language. I am part Sioux, Cheyenne and Norwegian...what a mix, huh?
Anyway, I live In Iowa in a medium-sized city on the banks of the Mississippi River with my two dogs, two cats and my bird. My horse lives at the stables. I am divorced and a college grad. I was a journalist for several years and am working on a book. I am also a former medic and volunteer firefighter. Today, I am a Red Cross volunteer as well. I can relate with Hermione Granger very well. It was reading about her character that helped me get through some very tough times this past year. She is definately my favorite character. Recently, I ordered and received a copy of the wand she carries and I love it. I pull it out and hold it when I am fighting with my emotions, and although it doesn't work (shucks, one can dream can't they!) it helps calm me down. I recently got my new siggie, and, of course, it absolutely had to include Hermione! I have been on the SS site for six or seven months now, and I love it! It takes the pressure off after a long day's work!

I joined this club because Hermione is awesome; she is bright and very helpful and harry would have never made it through Hogwarts without her. She is also one of my favorite characters.

Well, I was born in Guyana, that's in South America for those of you who don't know. It's the only English speaking country there (we were ruled by the British!). I now live in FL which I hate very much and wish I was back in NY where I have all my Indian stuff.

i like hermione because shes unpredictable. yes you know she is going to do homework and read and snap at harry and ron, but when she is fighting with harry and everyone else she becomes a totally different person. shes brave and is quick and smart and just is amazing. also she is just so likable! i mean what is there not to like about her? shes so cool. also, emma does an awesome job portraying her in the films!

Im Dyane (but everyone just calls me Dye).. I'm 14 and I live in Australia.. its the bomb! but i have only lived here for three years, I have lived in africa for the previous part of my life lol.. I love swimming! its the best sport ever.. and I have been reading Harry Potter for AGES.. I cant even remember when I started.. I have only been at this site for a lil while but I already love it its great to meet Harry Potter fans, coz where I live (its a REALLY small town) no one is interested in anything.. except dancing (for the girls) and BMX and footy (for the guys) so yeah..

Um.. Hermione is definitely my favourite character, coz I feel like I can relate to her. She is smart and sticks up for what she believes in and doesnt back down even when she is discouraged. She is a really good role model and if you think you are like Hermione, then you must be a pretty awesome person! And even if you're not, you're an awesome person anyways!
