In Half-Blood Prince Professor Slughorn introduced us to the most powerful love potion in the world: amortentia. This love potion smells unique and different to each individual person. Hermione claimed it smelled like "freshly mown grass and new parchment.." What else do you it smelled like to our favorite bookworm? Discuss your theories here.

I think it might possibly be the perfume that Ron bought her for Christmas in OotP. Or maybe Ron's personal scent (much like Harry smelled Ginny's).

Why would Ron smell like parchament? I can't figure out what can make Hermione to smell parchement from Ron.... He don't like to do schoolwork or anything connected to parchement? Maybe... Harry? Man, i do wish its HARRY! Lol but Harry do work sometimes... But I am not sure... | |

no... she says parchment and then blushes and trails off... like she was gonna ssay something else. We think it's Ron... i was kinda thinking that same thing the first time i read it haha. I'm reading the book again and Harry says he smells something but couldn't remeber it and then smells it on Ginny. So see, it's kinda the things that they like.... Like hermione liking Ron haha | |
