I think the movie is alright.. I LOVE the Marauders Map.. PERFECT!

Some of the biggest flaws:

1. In the beginning, Harry is practicing magic in his bed, and when he's about to walk out, Uncle Vernon says that they aren't allowed to use magic at home..
He's only in trouble after the Aunt Marge thing..

2. The Ron/Hermione thing! I HATE IT!!!!!!!! Of course, they do belong together and all, JK said it herself.. But what they're doing in the movie doesn't belong! Their relatioship is that they like each other, but don't show it.. They're supposed to fight and stuff like that.. Like in the books! FOLLOW THE BOOKS!!!!

3. I HATE all the changes.. The books are so great, and the movies are ruining the story! It's like the movie is just to make money, not to tell the story...
Small changes are accepted, but they are BIG! I HATE IT! The cast is great (well, I don't like Dumbledore, they could've found someone who were more like the original), the sets are great, but the rest is just STUPID!

What happened to Cho Chang, Oliver Wood, AND the first time Gryffindor wins the Quiddicth cup?!

Again, FOLLOW THE BOOKS JUST A LITTLE MORE, THANKS!

The eye color thing have annoyed me since the first movie..

Dan have blue eyes.. Not brown.. I too think that he should've been wearing contacts, but.. Well, he haven't..
It's so pathetic when they paints his eyes green in sticker books..

Movie better if you didn't read book. Get rid of Alfonso!

I give it 7.5/10. It was the best movie so far, but they changed stuff around so much. And some of the people (Ex. Sirius) didn't look as I imagined them in my head. I thought the woman that played Professor Trelawney (Emma Thompson?) did a great job, though.

I give it 93/4 upon ten! It was the best movie till now! I loved it!!

I'd give it a ten, i don't know about ya'll but i thought it was the best movie, i mean at first i thought it would be bad because of the new director and all but i really thought it was good, it was much more funny, i didn't laugh much from the first 2

i'd give it a 9/10 cause it was really good! i loved it! but it was so fast paced and was too brief also they didnt have the quidditch world cup and stuff, but it was the best movie so far, cant wait till the fourth! :sorcerer: :sorcerer:

hi people..ya i saw the movie and i thot that it was alrite..seriously i dont like watching the movies cuz i prefer using my imagination but they did try really hard to make it like the book. the problem was that they missed like sooooo much! i mean did u guys see the first scene where he's lighting his wand to see the book, is he allowed to do that, i mean, magic is forbidden after they r out of skul so how cum he was using his wand. it just doesnt make sense unless he's aloud to simple spells. i didnt imagin lupin or sirius looking like that bu the people acted alrite.... buckbeak was cool and the quiditch was nice.. i think alfonso was trying to portray ron and hermione's growing romance early on..i mean its sorta obvious they like each other and cant admit it..anyway, rite the movie. i didnt think the end was that exciting either. and peter pettigrew was just...hm..i dunno wat to say. i dun think he matched the role for sum reason. they left alot of things hanging aswell like who padfoot, loony, prongs, and wormtail were and exactly wat happened to pettigrrew...to tell the truth i didnt like the movie too much now that i think of it...emma and rupert and dan have gotten better tho..anywayz thts wat i thot about the movie..lol

Hey guyz.. I watched da movie da second day it was out.. I was very disappointed at home the movie came out cuz.. It barely followed wut wuz in de book and kept showin da dementors. Also some of da new actors dat we were suppose 2 see like Cho Cheng, Cedric Diggory.. we dun't get 2 see till da next movie. How ever it was very funny, but I thought dey rushed da whole thin I wuz surprised dat the first thin we see in da startin wus aunt marge gettin blown up.. Also in da end it show'z Harry ridin on da broom but in da book he got dat broom 4 Christmas. Not 2 metion when Harry went into da three broomstick'z an Ron an Hermione couldn't get in... An wut happened 2 Hermione and Ron's fight dey didn't even show dat, An Harry never cries after wut he heard in da three broomsticks...Plus when does Harry an Professor Lupin go around walkin outside an talkin bout stuff?? In da book it wuz always in Professor Lupin's Office.... and it wuz not scary at all.... Also Snape is suppose 2 be unconcious when de come out of the Wampin Williow and ron'z leg is suppose 2 be pulled out of it'z socket, an Harry, Hermione, an Ron were suppose 2 be under da Invisibility cloak, Plus hermione wuz suppose 2 slap Malfoy not punch him. However all in all it wuz very Funny an I give it 2 in a half stars out of five, I dun't think it wuz up 2 it'z orginal standards, I know dey got 2 make the 4th 1 da best out of all da H.P book's cuz it has alot of action an etc..
I do plan 2 get de DVD when it comes out though.. I'm sayin if u read da book den watch da movie it suck'z...But if u watch da movie an 4get about da book it rockz!!!! I Can't wait 2 see da 4th movie it should b better!!!

P.S Thank God a diff director is doin da 4th movie ....

I liked it, and then again didn't. I dunno. I think it was a little too visual, and therefore some other aspects lacked ::cough:: dialogue ::cough::

the scene where harry was crying? can we please see tears? I mean common! It was sooo fake it wasn't even funny. he even sounded like he was fake crying...Dan still needs some work on those type of dramatic scenes me thinks....

as for the others. I think Emma and Rupert were great. I wasn't too happy about how whimpy they made Draco's character...what happened to him over the summer that made him into a pansy? He wasn't that bad in the other movies. When he got threatened, he usually threatened back, at least at first. This time, it was imediately "Oh don't hurt me...." grrr....

:/ yea no kidding.. i was very disappointed with draco in this movie..and i don't think he will improve in the fourth movie though..ex- the bouncing white farrett scene..he will stay a wuss..... as for Harry's crying scene.... it was pretty pathedic.. but i must applaud his preformence in the beginning of the movie when he goes upstairs and kicks the table.. that was nicley done..

Movies are never faithful to the books 100%. I'm a big fan of Michael Crichton's books and every movie based on his books has been a huge disappointment for me.

Having said that, PoA was not bad. I enjoyed it. Like everyone else, I wish the shrieking shack scene had been different. Not so much for the Marauders' explanation, but Snape should have been knocked out! I wanted to see Sirius letting his head bump the ceiling in the tunnel But I appreciated the visual of Snape protecting the trio from Lupin subtly showing that he may not like them, but he will do the right thing when it comes down to it.

i personally didnt like it.it was ok,but what about all the talk in the shrieking shack?and the three broomsticks.it had important talk too.

it was good. the only thing i didn't like was that the quidditch Cup final wasn't shown and this was a rare moment for Gryffindor to win the Quidditch cup.

I think that is wasn't as good as the television and other places saidit would be. I still really enjoyed it.

i give the 3rd movie a 7/10


i liked the movie a lot but their wasnt a lot of stuff in it about how harry got his firebolt and mcgonagall taking it away from him. it seems that the 1st and 2nd movie was longer then it but it was totally awesome just like anything else. :sorcerer:

i liked the movie...BUT they cut soooooo much, from it in the book , sirius was mentioned scary and etc etc BUT in the movie i didn't fell that he was scary

i really loved the movie.harry ,ron & hermione looked really cute.malfoy looked even cuter.the best thing i liked was the way everything was put into picture,especially the patronus.
