WorthPlaying.com has just released their in-depth preview of the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince video game for Nintendo's Wii platform. Quote:
While Hogwarts itself wasn't available in the E3 demo, I got to ask a few questions about it that helped alleviated my fears. It's going to be accurate to the movie, but also made significantly easier to explore, cutting down on the frustration that was so common in Order of the Phoenix. Perhaps the best change is that the near-worthless footprint guide from Order of the Phoenix has been replaced by the ghost of Nearly Headless Nick, who will provide a much more visible and easy-to-follow guide around the world of Hogwarts.

This game sounds really awesome! 
I think the best decision will be to release the game in July, next to the
movie release. I mean, If it'll be released this November it'll might spoil big parts of the movie's plot. Even though I wish I could play it right now, I would rather have it released in July. | |

I loved how they did OotP.  I know that I will like HBP for sure. I really didn't have a problem at all with the footprint guide to help me find where I needed to go. But having Nick around is going to be cool!

I have mah wii, i have ootp for it, and i really enjoyed it. I found the foot steps really easy to follow, so i don't feel entirely convinced by NHN leading me around the castle. I fear he will very quickly become annoying.

I just got a Wii, so I will be getting this game. It looks like it will be a lot of fun. I hope it comes out soon, they are still offering pre order with a release date of Nov. 2008 on amazon. I wonder when or if they will change that.
