Potter fans can try their luck to win an autographed boxed set of the first five volumes of the Harry Potter series.
Independent bookstores carrying the Books for Everybody catalogue received a package with a form that expanded on the details of the contest, which have been reproduced below: Quote:

Autographed Harry Potter Boxed Set Volumes 1-5
Independent booksellers, participating in the Books For Everybody's spring catalogue program have been given the opportunity this spring to offer customers an exclusive contest to win an autographed Harry Potter Boxed Set, Volumes 1-5.

Each title in the Harry Potter Boxed set, Volumes 1-5 (children's editions) will contain a book plate with J.K. Rowling's signature. The boxed set is provided courtesy of Raincoast Books and it is the only such contest this spring in anticipation of the release of the latest Harry Potter. Suggested retail value of the prize is $137.85, but the value for fans is much greater.
Note: It seems the contest is offered in Canada alone. Quote:
Contest entry form and a pre-pub order form will be printed on the inside cover of Spring 2005 Books For Everybody. Contest entry form is not linked to the pre-publication order form.
