John Williams May Yet Score Goblet Of Fire Article: Jwfan.net are reporting that Harry Potter composer John Williams may yet score the soundtrack for The Goblet of Fire! Quote: "In the program notes to the Hollywood Bowl concert by John Mangum, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association's Program Designer/Annotator says the fourth movie will have a Williams' score:*
Because of his music, Williams has come to be indelibly associated with several other film series, among them the four Superman films and the three Harry Potter films (so far - the fourth, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, is due out next year, and will have another Williams score)." At the moment this has not been confirmed

The score would have been okay, because I'm sure Williams would have allowed the new composer to use parts of the exsisting score, but it will be much better with him involved.

i TOTALLY agree!! i love john williams music . . but best of all the hp music!! thats what makes the film!

While I doubt the score would be butchered, I'd love to have him do the third movie... keep it consistent.

I'm glad that there's still a possibility that JW will be composing #4, but there are a lot of composers out there who would do well with the series, like Danny Elfman or Hans Zimmer. Still, his scores for the series so far have rocked, so this rumour makes me very happy!

I totally agree with you 2! I LOVE John Williams' scores and GoF wouldn't be the same, he'd better do it otherwise loads of fans will be disappointed... :ermsmile:
