CBBC Newsround has a poll with the question: Who will die in book 6? The people you can select are: Quote:
Harry Potter
Hermione Granger
Ron Weasley
Hagrid
Dumbledore
Professor McGonagall
Neville Longbottom
Draco Malfoy
Luna Lovegood
A Weasley family massacre
Professor Snape
Remus Lupin
Someone else
It seems rather silly to vote for Harry, as the book is about him and JK has stated he will live through to at least book 7 - however people have still voted for him!
In the lead at the moment is 'someone else' (29%) followed by Lupin (15%) Hagrid (12%) & Dumbledore (10%).
Oddly enough 8% have voted for a Weasley family Massacre!
The poll also shows that at the moment, people think Ron is the most likely to die out of the trio and that Luna (4%) & Neville (5%) have a bigger chance of dying than Professor Snape (3%)! So far 4067 votes have been cast.
Of course, with the war starting, it is far more likely that more than one person will die in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

I voted for "someone else" those that are on the list just didn't seem likely to die in the 6th book to me. If it was the 7th one then some of those names seem more possible, but not right now.

That's a cool poll... A Canadian newspaper did the same thing, and the winner (or loser) was Lucius Malfoy, then Cho, I think. Dunno who I'll vote for, because I think more than one person on the list will die.

I really don't think any of the trio are going to kick the bucket until the last book- its just not logical.
I think Hagrid is going to snuff it though.

I vote Hagrid. Maybe Neville aswell, or McGonagall purely because of those stunning spells she was hit with in OotP.
I think Dumbledore, Harry & Ron will eventually die. I also think Snape will die in some form of heroic performance and possibly Lupin will pop his clogs too. I also see Ginny dying funnily enough, after a second posession by Voldemort.
The more I talk, the more evil I sound, so maybe I should just be quiet but it is war and realistically loads of people will die in it.

I saw in some article on msn.com that she plans to kill off one more major character this time around. I think it'll be ron as much as I don't want it to be.....

Laughed my *** of at the movies; there's something quite amusing about seeing two Gryffingdorks getting their living daylight smashed out of them. I didn't really vote on the site, but it does seem rather strange that people have voted for Harry to die in book 6. How would we make it to seven if he were to die in book 6? Just a thought. I don't really think it would be a Weasley family massacre either. Maybe one of them will die in book 6 but not a family massacre. It might be Hagrid, she lead us on about him in the 5th book, was that foreshadowing?
