Who did JK vote for in the HBP Mugglenet Poll? - they tried to narrow down the candidates Summary:

The possibilities are many and her possible motivations for choices are like that too. She could have voted for someone totally impossible, someone likely or someone completely accurate. Mugglenet have added this comment on the matter: Quote: Many of you have been e-mailing asking to see the results of the "Who's the Half-Blood Prince?" poll that JK Rowling said she voted in, hoping that maybe that could help us narrow down the candidates. I wondered about that myself the second I read that JKR had taken the poll. I hoped there would be someway to tell who'd she'd voted for, but I guess there isn't... :/

i wish there was some way to tell!! it would be cool to know but it'd also spoil the surprise for when the book comes out. im glad mugglenet won its a great site but i hope SS can win next time! its hard to believe JKR went on an actual HP site! on her own site she wrote that she was in a CR and they were posting theories of who could be the HBP and no one believed what she said was plausible lol.

Half-Blood can mean half-wizard or half-breed.
I think one of the founders, Nick, Snape or Lupin are far more likely.
