WB confirmed today that all four Harry Potter films will be taken from store shelves by the winter of 2007. There has not yet been a definite plan as to whether this is a permanent change or not.

Pardon if this is a little rude, but that SUCKS! I mean, I have the first four now but that wouldn't be fair for others. Why would they do that anyway? There's older movies by them on shelves that'd made lesser impact in movies making. Or in other words, less big movies are still on shelves by Warner Bros. The Harry Potter films are BIG films. They're even in the '05 (or '06, can't remember) Guiness World Record book for highest grossing film(s).
And especially since "Order of the Phoenix" will be coming out possibly next summer so people are gonna swarm to "Blockbusters" and whatnot to see the previous 4 films.
anyway, this bites.
