I hope the trio finished the film series as a group. I know it's be a difficult thing, they are getting older wanting to look past the series to having future projects other than Harry Potter. But aren't the trio all signed throught OotP? Someone help me remember but I recall reading that somewhere. I wish the lot of them success not just the trio. All the young actor on the project have given so much.

They only sign one film at a time hence they are not signed up for OotP.

Lets hope they sign on for the rest of the movies. I'm sure Emma will do Ootp if Rupert and Dan do to. It's all a matter of time. Those kids just wont stop growing. They look a lot older than they really are.

Dan doesn't actually look that old, he's really short. Rupert does though.

Well, sometimes I really think that Rupert should already quit the HP movies bcoz of the very unfair treatment he's getting from the franchise!

Warner Bros. seem to be thinkin that only Dan & Emma are worth it-- there's no PoA-DVD ad especially for Rupert (unlike Dan & Em), there's very few GoF set pix of him.

Now there's a new GoF set report, which again does not inlcude him-- only Dan, Emma & Bonnie! I know it might be the scene when Harry & Ron were not in speaking terms, but with Bonnie there-- I wonder what scene it is and why Rupert isnt there!

I'm getting the feeling that Rupert will again have very little exposure in this 4th movie-- and I'm really really getting very upset about this!

Its like the movie Bring it on, and in the sequel they had entirely new actors and actresses which just ruined the movie for me. I really hope Harry Potter doesn't turn out like this, the book deserves better respect!

I've actually heard before that the WB prez had to personally appeal to Emma abotu returning...seems to me that of the three, Rupert's the keenest to stay, Dan has a laid-back, 'lets-see-what-happens' attitide, while Emma...well, I guess we know what she thinks now...

I hope the original trio stay till the end. Though, I have a feeling Emma is ready to move on to something else Hope they can convience her to stay for the next 3 films they just wouldn't be the same without Emma, Rupert and Dan being Hermione, Ron, and Harry. Maybe Hermione will be the charcter Jo kills out in the 6th book so Emma may be inclined to stay until the 6th film.

i really hope she stays cuz the movies wont be as good w/a new hermione. (i doubt fans will be as-obsessed if there's a cast change since its not the same has before.) but i hope she'll stay for the rest of the films if they're made!

I'd like the rest of the trio to stay on, and it would be better for continuity if they all remain... but, I really wouldn't be bothered if Emma left. It might end Kloves obsession with Hermione.

if they leave and not make the rest of the movies together i will never watch another hp film for the rest of my life i mean we watch them grow up on screen i could not imagine someone else play harry ,ron,and hermione

The trio have to stay. The films would not be the same without them. I dont think that they could find replacements. And why would Emma not continue to stay on, as she has said countless times that she loves filming the films. If anyone were to leave first i think that it would be Dan cause he might get sick of always being in the limelight out of the trio, he said that he may not continue films after Harry Potter cause he also enjoys music, Rupert said that he would definatly try to stay on filming all the films and Emma's the youngest so there would be no point in her leaving first because of ages. But i think that if any of them left then Warner Bros may not continue to make the films. Just a thought though.

If they don't do the next 3 films I don't think that I will watch them anymore.

It's wierd enough with a new Dumbledore....

Dumbledore was shocking, and even though he doesn't have a big role in the movies, I wasn't happy with the change. If a new girl plays Hermione in future movies, there wouldn't be any chemistry between the trio; they'd have to start all over again with getting comfy with each other. PoA was actually the first movie in which they did an ok job as the trio.

Maybe Emma just wants more money? Why not her character to hear us all talk [me too] is irreplaceable. If they were to change any of the trio I'd stop watching the movies, and I think so would a lot of people. Dumbledore was sad, but necessary obviously, and I felt weird when I read an article where the actor who plays Hagrid was talking about not doing all the movies. It would just be odd. But I don't think they're growing up too fast. Most teen shows have actors older than the ages they play [Dawson's Creek, Everwood, OC]. I think they could easily do all seven films.

^ I totally agree with you on Rupert not being talked about much... But did you ever stop to think thats the way he wants it. From all the interviews I seen with him in he never really talks much. To me he seem's a bit shy and layed back.

I am not a total Rupert fan, but I am a very big Tom Felton and him being Draco in the HP movies hasn't really given him much exposure. But then again I think thats what he wants. I been a Tom Fan for 7 years. (1998 - 2004) and I will forever remain one. But I think we as fans have to look on both sides of this. Maybe them not getting so much exposure is what they want.

Emma usually seems to do the most talking, or sometimes Dan.

If any of the trio does leave, I know that I can not do anything to stop it and I hope it doesn't happen, but I will still watch the movies. I didn't find it that wierd when there was a new Dumbledore, so I think that it could be done successfully. I think that everyone would continue to watch the movies if there was a cast switch.
