Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick) recently participated in an interview with Empire Magazine. In it he talks briefly about ' Goblet of Fire' and ' Order of the Phoenix'. Quote:
“I’ve just finished the fourth Harry Potter,” the diminutive actor told us. “Out in November, of course, and fingers crossed I make the transition from book to script for number five! It’s always a kind of a moment where you’re not quite sure about it, but I’ve been lucky to get in all four so far, so hopefully the next one. The fourth one’s gonna be great, as well.”

"Mike Newell’s a fab director, and he’s brought his own unique quality to it. It’s a hard task to beat the last movie, you know, make a better movie, but I think he’s succeeded. I certainly had a lot of fun doing it, anyway.”

Empire, one of the most prestigous film magazines in the UK, have also seemingly given the ' Goblet of Fire' trailer their approval. Quote:
It has given us a glimpse of one of the coolest looking dragons we’ve seen on screen in quite a while, along with some rather intimidating looking students from the other schools competing in the Tri-Wizard Tournament.

Of course a quality magazine would give praise to a quality film.

I wonder what warwick will be doin in the film? I can't be bothered to look in the book. Does his character do anything in particular?

From my recollection, no. I think he'll probably be sitting in the hall and watching tasks. Time restraints, especially with this film, probably wouldn't allow him a class scene. And/or he could be involved with teaching Harry that 'Accio' charm for the first task.

Flitwick doesn't have much of a role in 4 as I recall, Harry worked on his spells for the tournament during his class is all I remember.
