The Daily Mail in the UK recently reported that WB was unhappy and against Dan's new role in "Equus," even causing other rumors to spread such as the desire for WB to fire Dan as Harry Potter.
Determined to squash this rumor, WB released this statement today supporting Dan's "artistic choices" in "Equus": Quote:
"Daniel Radcliffe is an extremely talented actor, as well as a great collaborator and friend to Warner Bros. Pictures. We've had great experiences working with him on our films and fully support him in the artistic choices he makes as an actor."

Well, that's nice of them to release a statement, kinda eases some people's minds. But then again, they had to release it after the rumour-mill started, which kinda hints at a cover up.

I am glad that Warner Bros. supports Dan. Mabye they won't hire a new person for the last two movies. I know that I would probably not watch them if Dan isn't Harry Potter.
