| | |  Wanna be an extra in 'Driving Lessons'?
The Hampstead School of Latin Dance is helping The Expressions Dance Studio find 70 extras for a dance scene in ' Driving Lessons' - a new film starring Rupert Grint.
The scene takes place in a Salsa club and the studio requires dancers from 'all levels of experience' to participate in the filming.
Shooting is scheduled to take place at the Cobden Club (on Kensal Road) on July 21st. Quote: Hampstead School of Latin Dance seeking Film Extras!
Ever wanted to dance in the movies? This might be your chance!
Hampstead School of Latin Dance is helping Expressions find 70 people to come and be extras in a new feature film: “Driving Lessons”
The film stars Julie Walters (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) and Laura Linney (Love Actually)
The scenes they are filming take place in a salsa club. Therefore they need dancers of all levels of experience - from beginners upwards – to come and join the fun.
They will be filming the scenes on 21st of July at the Cobden Club, Kensal Road, W10
Although they probably won’t need you for the entire day, the shooting will run between 8am and 7pm, so you should be available at these times.
They will be able to pay expenses to those able to attend, you will be given breakfast (before 9:30), lunch and afternoon snacks. Tea, coffee, and lots of ice cold water will be available as well.

Well, we can safely assume two things: Rupert was spotted at the dance studio, along with Laura, and there will be a dance scene in the movie.
I wish two things though... LOL That I could dance and I was in the UK!
I hope whoever does get to do this provides someone with some interesting tidbits from the scene...

LOL Well it said beginners to experience, so I'm thinking you'd have to be at least able to move a bit. I don't dance, so I can't dance. And that's cool! I wish I could do it... even if I could dance, I'd have to *fly* there to do it, and that'd be stupid since I might not get used and there's no gaurantee that I'd be in the movie or even see Rupert.

yeah this would be fun.I'm thinking of phoning them...I am an ok dancer and well I am ana actress looking for experience.this would be awesome!I'm just worried about me mum and da,if they would be able to send me out to the UK...that's the thing.Oh well!

Darn the Atlantic Ocean!!  My parents would never let me fly to the UK to do that - which sucks because I absolutly love to dance, no matter what the occasion! I hope if anyone on the site goes they share what's like (and take pictures)!!!!
I wonder if you would actually get to see or meet Rupert?
