| | |  Video: Wizarding World of Harry Potter task on Celebrity Apprentice
The contestants on this week's episode of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice were given the task to create a realistic three-dimensional preview of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The teams - men versus women - were given instructions by their respective project managers from Universal's headquarters in Orlando, Florida on how to create the experience within a small confine. The task was meant to impress young Harry Potter fans, as well as Universal Orlando's executives, including Mark Woodbury, the head of Universal Creative.
The episode can be viewed in its entirety below (the introduction to the theme park and task starts at eight minutes into the first video). Feel free to leave comments as to which team's project was more faithful to Harry Potter's wizarding world.

Wow, drama! But I remember that they created (not sure what team, waiting for the vid) that interactive map where you play with it online, use a mic, etc. That was genius! 
My mom told me about the episode abot a week ago, but I forgot until now. FAIL.

Well I do hope that their ideas whatever they may be are very good and in the spirit of Harry Potter please don't mess it up. Wish we were amongst the fans overthere  Well good luck to them but please make it a good one and don't slack or "YOU'RE FIRED!" Quote:

I watched it... It was really annoying, because they knew nothing about HP... :/ Plus the one guy from "Poison" said, "We got these Harry Potter nerdlings here." I wanted to punch him. >:O It was cool to see all of the props and stuff though that will be available at the WWoHP... I don't think my measly $300 is going to pay for all the things I'm going to want there. I better start saving up some more!

I watched it last night and I must say that I was very disappointed that both the women and men knew practically nothing about HP, they only thought they did  I also hated the "nerdlings" part too.
I was satisfied though with the effort the women put into their project (the men's final product was not nearly as good) and that the "kids" that went through their attraction weren't all between five and ten and that two of them had to have been in their teens. I always hate it when Potter fans are generalized as all being younger kids!

The women did the best! The men didn't even try. They should've done more research. I think Selita and Cyndi were both familiar with the storyline, so that helped the women's team. Although they could've added more theme park elements to their display. Either way, I loved watching the show! | |
