Videos: Michael Gambon, Bonnie Wright, Daniel Radcliffe talk Deathly Hallows: Part II
Several Harry Potter actors recently discussed some of their scenes in the final installment of the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II. During promotion of Harry Potter: the Exhibition and the launch of Deathly Hallows: Part I on Blu-ray in New York earlier this month, Michael Gambon, Bonnie Wright, and Domhnall Gleeson teased a bit about sequences they shot for the last movie - including Harry and Dumbledore's chat in King's Cross, and the epilogue reshoots in December 2010. Those can be seen below, courtesy of SnitchSeeker reader Tyler and WAToday (which also includes new interviews with James and Oliver Phelps, Natalia Tena, Evanna Lynch, David Thewlis, Mark Williams, Warwick Davis, and Helen McCrory).
At Monday's Gotham magazine cover launch party, Daniel Radcliffe briefly commented on how action-packed and intense the last movie would be. Dan also reiterated that JK Rowling promised him that she would never write another book about Harry Potter again.

“It’s going to be a heist movie that turns into a war film,” he reveals. “It’s going to be nonstop from beginning to end. It’s going to be very adventurous, I think people are going to go nuts for it to be honest.”

“I was worried! I texted her. I said, ‘Look, is this true? Are you writing another book?!’”
“She wrote back that she was so pleased with my performance in Harry Potter 7: Part 1 that as a reward, she promised to never write another book about Harry,” Radcliffe revealed with a sigh of relief.
“I’ve been so busy with How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying that I haven’t been thinking about Harry. In a few months, I’ll have to flip the switch and get back into Potter mode for a few days, but right now there isn’t time to be nostalgic about it,” he said.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will hit theatres and IMAX this July.
Much as I love Harry, and would like to have an official story of those 19 years (I'm a sucker for romance, so I need to know how they all got together from the official source), more about the story might be anticlimatic.
Slytherin's Talon ~~ What?????? No more Harry Potter books? No more guides?
I think she meant no more Harry Potter stories that centered around Harry. Seems to me I read somewhere she told Daniel he'd never have to play Harry again. She's supposedly working on the encyclopedia. I think that would be great to have it come out after DH2 to help wrap up all the little details. I'd love to see a Marauder's story telling things that happened leading up to James and Lily's death, maybe having the end of the book being where Voldemort's going to their door, then instead of the 'The End' it could say 'The Beginning'.
Bahahaha, I bet Dan has Jo on speed dial! But that's so cool that they text each other, I siriusly found that to be the most interesting thing about this.

MY FRIEND WILL BE LIKE "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I NEED MORE BOOKS 2 REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD" she has read all of the books about 50times each and ill be devistated 2 cause Dan seemed 2 be enjoying being Harry but hes moved on *sigh*
I think what JKR meant is that she will never write another book with Harry as the main character, but she didn't rule out writing one about the other characters.
But I'll read anything that she writes. Potter or not.
I'm happy without any more Harry Potter books. Not saying that it wouldn't be brilliant if there were- just that Jo has written the series in such a complete way that it's perfect just the way it is
LOL Dan just texted her like an good buddy
Your flavour is milk. You're a quiet person and enjoy the peace, but you also
enjoy a bit of something new. You like the unconventional surprises that life
brings. You keep those dear to you close and adore them, as they adore you. ♥

I completely agree. Jo is an AMAZING writer and I would absolutely hate to see her become a one-hit-wonder, just a slave to writing lame Harry Potter spin-offs for the rest of her life. She's better than that, and Harry Potter is better than that. Jo has a lot of years ahead of her and I think she has many other different but equally great books still left in her head and in her heart.
