Videos: Chris Rankin on Deathly Hallows finale, work on the Harry Potter films set
In a new interview, actor Chris Rankin opened up about the final day of filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this past spring, as well as his on-and-off time on the set of the films, in which he portrayed third son Percy Weasley. Chris discussed the earlier days on the film set, and meeting his on-screen family, including Rupert Grint, James and Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, and Julie Walters, as well as author J.K. Rowling. In the second video, specifically, Chris voiced his opinion of how his costars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and especially Emma Watson, are treated by the press, and how unfair he considered it. Julie Walters and Mark Williams, who played your screen mum and dad, what were they like to be around?
Fabulous. Absolutely fabulous. They really, really are. The camaraderie you see between them on set, on the screen, is exactly the same as the camaraderie between them and between all of us off the screen. I know there are at least a couple of takes that will be in Part 2 of Deathly Hallows where we didn’t even know they’d started rolling. We were so busy having a lovely … we were sitting on the set, a cup of tea in one hand, just having a chat - and somebody shouted, “Cut!” and we were like, “Oh.”

Believe it or not...Percy always brought a slight chuckle out of me. I'm excited about him being in DH2.
