Post Video of Emma & David at the BAFTA's

A video of the acceptance speech featuring David Heyman and Emma Watson, has now emerged. The actress and producer attended the BAFTA's to collect the award for PoA for the Orange Film of the Year.

The Scotsman has the following on the event:

Quote:
Fourteen-year-old Emma Watson collected the Orange Film of the Year award for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The actress, who plays Hermione Grainger, said: “I’ve never been to the Baftas before, so just to be turning up is exciting, to have a nomination on top of that is great, and to win the award voted by the people is brilliant.”

Her co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry, couldn’t make the ceremony because he was at home studying for his GCSEs.
The video can be downloaded from here (right click, save target as) courtesy of Ciaran. You need WinZip to view this file.

The video can also be downloaded from here courtesy of EW.net (right click, save target as). You only need to have Windows Media to view this one.

Quote:
David Heyman thanked Peter Jackson for being absent that year. (To which there was loads of laughter) He thanked the producers, the crew, the actors, Steve Kloves, Alfonso, WB and Jo Rowling.

Emma said, "Thanks David, you've left me with pretty much nothing else to say!" She thanked Dan personally saying he finally got his priorities right and is home studying for his GCSE's. She said she was so excited to be there to receive an award for something she is so proud of. She said she wished other people could be there to collect the award with them and thanked Alfonso.

When it was first announced she looked so excited and hesistantly waited for David and they then hugged. Both were beaming!

Pictures from the event can be seen here.

EDIT: Alternatively you can download this video (which also requires you to have WinZip) but features Emma on the red carpet, Emma presenting an award, and David Heyman & Emma's acceptance speech.

Yeah but still, it's only one night and they're nearly done filming so they wont be working while revising so for that period they're not 'special' but normal.

And how do you know they are almost done filming, just becoz the none important actors for the plot are done filming, that doesn’t mean that the main cast are done, film ends up in April, he is the main character so he is in almost every scene, take in consideration that, and also like I said before he still a minor and his parents has a lot to say about where he goes.

I agree, it's probably because of his parents that he was told he couldn't go because I believe Dan would've gone if he'd had the choice.

That doesn't change the fact that it was only one night. We've had seevral reports that filming is drawing to close a between between now and at the latest, the first of April (Mike Newell gave that date.). In December Heyman said they'd done 120 days of the 160 that they had planned for filming.

The various dates and stuff can be found here: http://www.snitchseeker.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=23060 under 'earlier reports', 'stated' and 'finish'.

Exactly so that means that 25% still needs to be film out of a year of filming.
When you film a movie the production is divided in different stages and these stages have a time frame to be done, for example if they are filming the lake scene they have a time frame that can be 80 day of filming for that specific scene, so the 160 days that Heyman was talking about is not how long is going to take to finish the movie, after the 160 days frame time is done, they have another scene that has a frame time to be done that can take 120 or more or less days, just to give you an example.

So far I haven’t heard anything about the graveyard scene, I know they were not going to film for some time that scene bcoz of the death of Ralph Fiennes’s (Voldemort) dad.

I think there are many report so far that make April the month when they will be finishing filming GoF.

160 days was the total figure, if it was for a specific scene, he would've said so.

We don't hear about every scene being filmed, it doesn't mean that the majority haven't been done. The definite finish point is April 1st according to Mike, which means 6-7 weeks prior to the start of the GCSE's.

Heyman quote "We just had the 120th day of shooting from 160 planned,"

It is not telling you either that they are going to be done after 160 days.

Do you think that the entire movie is going to be done in 160 days? If not then for you what those 160 days mean.

When he said “planned”, that is what I am talking about, they planned to shoot different scenes and they have time frame for those scenes.
Bottom line is that so far the only thing that we know is that April is when they are suppose to be done filming.

Which is still quite a length before the exams. My point is, he should've been allowed to go, surely you agree? One night cannot make the difference, especially so incredibly far in advance.

I agree but also maybe he was shedule to be early for a shooting, so there are many factor for him not to be there. Emma said tha he wasn't there bcoz of his exams, maybe he doesn't have the time that he wants to study, we don't know bcoz we don't know how busy he is, the only thing is that in his last fan letter he mention that this year has been the most busiest year in his life, (bcoz of the movie and school (GCSE's) )

It just didn't seem very likely for a kid to study on a Saturday night when there's months to go. Obviously he's busy but it's unlikely that anything he revises now will be remembered in months time.

Like I said before, maybe he doesn't have the time that we all think he has.
Maybe he wants to get perfect grades, or maybe his parents want him to be prepared ahead of time.
It wasn't a big deal for him not to go, Rupert wasn't there either, and I don't think he didn't go bcoz he doesn't like to go to event like that, he was in a show a few days before.
The point is that I am glad that Dan is studying and hoepefully maybe he will persue a higher education after regular school.
