Video: First Emma Watson Perks of Being a Wallflower footage, Ron & Hermione photo
The first video footage of Emma Watson, along with costars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller, for The Perks of Being a Wallflower was released by a local Pittsburgh news network. The scene in question involves Emma's character, Sam, standing on the back of a pickup truck as the boys drive around the Pennsylvania city. That can be viewed here.
Two new photos of Emma have been released in the newest issue of Vanity Fair Italia, including a behind-the-scenes shot of David Yates with Emma and costar Rupert Grint from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, and a on-set shot from her Empire magazine Harry Potter ultimate celebration issue. Those can be found in our galleries.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will be released in theatres and IMAX 3D this July. The Perks of Being a Wallflower currently has no set release date.
I'm starting to get extremely excited for 'Perks' and I can't wait to see it Emma looks so different...but good different, of course. I also need to get my hands on a copy of this month's issue of Empire, hopefully they have it at my local Borders! *fingers crossed*
Cant wait to see "Perks". It'll be interesting to see Emma play such a different character (plus, i wanna hear her American accent!) Getting a copy of Empire mag 2morro, if I can find it *crosses fingers*

Cute. Percy Jackson + Harry Potter stars in one movie, though not the type of movie I wanna watch. I hope to see HP stars on a more exciting film. Well, Rupert have a kind of a better movie though.
She seems so Happy! She's only beginning her career. I hope she have some fun. I also hope she'll be a rising star and will become a great actress. Not just because of her Hermione character, but because she seem like an actress, not a star. Just someone who wants to work hard to produce good work, and I appreciate that, because there isn't a lot of stars doing that these days.

Well, I wish they would have given her longer hair for the film since Sam has long hair, as Charlie describes but I can put up with it. And of all the scenes for us to see, it had to be the pickup truck scene, which is the scene I was looking forward to the most. It's obviously not how I imagined it but I suppose once the official film footage it out, it'll be different. But I do love that scene very much so I'm glad it's in the film.
Btw, she looks stunning in the Empire magazine picture. Absolutely stunning.
