Warner Bros released a new interview with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint that will be on the Ultimate Collector's Edition DVD of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It features the pair discussing their initial casting experiences.

It is so cute to see them when they were so little and then contrast it with the more recent interviews. I'm glad that they auditioned and got the parts; it wouldn't be the same without them.
they are adorable. but i keep wondering something. how in the world does emma manage to go to brown while filming? i mean, i'm in college and school is in session right now. my professors tend to start failing us if we miss more than 3 classes during the semester. i'm trying to imagine all the flying back and forth that she is doing.

Emma's not filming, that's how. She stopped work on DH back at the end of August to go to Brown for the fall semester. She'll be back at Leavesden for the holiday break in January to finish up the rest of her scenes, and then a week in April to shoot the epilogue. She's working around her holidays, but she's not missing school.
Holiday break starts coming soon for many US colleges for Thanksgiving so my guess is she will be back then...Winter/Christmas break starts around the middle of December and we get at least 6 weeks off (come back usually at the end of January) and then of course we get Spring Break- Emma wasnt kidding when she said we in the US go to school for like 4 months! LOL... anyway those vids were cuteness overload- I loved seeing R/E speaking on the set of DH and then switches over to when they were lil awwwwww
