| | |  Video: David Thewlis talks Deathly Hallows
David Thewlis, the actor who plays Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter films, is one who is difficult to get for any discussions. However, Sky News has snagged a video interview with him, where he talks about several things. One of the main topics covered is his new novel, The Late Hector Kipling. David also confesses that he hasn't read all of the Harry Potter novels - he has, in fact, only read up to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He jokes around, saying that he “pays a 12 year old neighbor in Harry Potter memorabilia he steals from the set” to fill him in on all of Lupin’s antics. He finishes by saying that he does, however, know the fate of Remus Lupin in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I loved David's portrayal of Lupin in OotP when he was trying to contain Harry after Sirius's death. It was so gripping; it made me want to cry! I can't wait to see how he handles the conversation with Harry in Grimmauld Place in DH. Hopefully he'll have read the book by then...
