Daniel Radcliffe, who will be unable to attend the EMPIRE Big Screen this weekend in London as part of The Woman in Black panel and preview, recorded a short message from New York City to introduce it. That can be seen here.
Daniel Radcliffe: Hi, everyone. I'm sorry that I am unable to attend Empire magazine's BIG SCREEN as I'm currently on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. There will, however, be a very special appearance by the brilliant director of our new film, The Woman in Black, James Watkins, and also, the author of the book, Susan Hill. So, I hope you'll have a great time, and ask them lots of very difficult questions.
The Empire BIG SCREEN film convention will take place this weekend. The Woman in Black panel will be on Saturday, August 13, while the Harry Potter Leavesden Tour discussion with select cast and crew (still not confirmed) will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2011. SnitchSeeker will be on hand live at both events to give the latest, so keep a close eye on our Twitter that weekend. The Woman in Black will hit theatres in February 2012; the Leavesden Harry Potter museum tour will be open to all next spring.
That's cool that Dan makes time to film all these little blips saying he's sorry he can't make it to things. He's such a great guy from what I can tell.
Whether you come back by page or by the big screen Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.
I'm pretty excited to see him in a new movie, and a different Character. I'm so proud of the golden trio, I loved seeing Rupert in Wild Target (with the AMAZING Emily Blunt) and seeing Emma's name come up on different movies and now Daniel and this movie (as well as much other things). I think I might have to look at the book...
I can't wait to see the film, it looks so good from the little nibbles we've been getting!
And poor Dan, his show is such a mouthful to say in casual conversation, haha.

wow Dan is actually building a new career away from HP not that i didnt expect it of course, he's really talented and from what i saw in some clips of the musical, he must also be a hard-working actor too. Well done Dan
