Video: Daniel Radcliffe talks Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Gary Oldman Oscar nominations
At Tuesday's London premiere of The Woman in Black, Daniel Radcliffe briefly commented to EntertainmentWise on the few technical Academy Award nominationsHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 did receive this morning, as well as good friend and former costar Gary Oldman's first nod in the Best Actor category for his work in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Dan noted that Oldman's first Oscar nomination was very much 'long overdue.'
Daniel Radcliffe (on Harry Potter nominations): I’m thrilled. I think we deserve those nominations.
My friends in hair and makeup have all been recognised and that’s a huge thing for me and also the art design and special effects.
Moooooooo. :) || Have a supermegafoxyawesomehot Christmas.
Well, I'm not surprised he's one of the first to congratulate Gary. And I'm glad he's not taking the Oscar snub too seriously because let's face it...Hollywood will always be Hollywood.
I really love how Dan sees how much Gary should win an Oscar. Dan has always looked up to Gary as an actor, and they are both amazing actors. I'm so glad both of them were in HP.
Sorry Dan, you arent there yet... Gary, so deserved it from the moment (in my opinion) he portrayed Sid Vicious and for every other movie he was involved in & was soooo overlooked for his sheer brilliance. He paid his dues and now finally a nod...
