In a new interview, Daniel Radcliffe talks about working on Equus in New York and the West End; how doing multiple takes on a movie project is similar to performing the play night after night; and his hopes to come back and do a play or musical on Broadway. It can be viewed here.

"I think that's actually where my film training has come in very handy, because you have to do 20-30 takes sometimes on a very bad day," he said. "And when you're doing the same thing over and over, you have to make it good every time. And I think that's where I have been able to draw from that, to just recreate it every night."

Equus completes its run on February 8th; a week later, Dan begins filming Deathly Hallows in the UK.

I feel sad taht I couldnt see Equus , but Im happy that Deathly Hallows will start filming and Hopefully we will get nice pics !!!

I love how, for his age, he is quite diplomatic, yet still a real everyday person, that's really admirable!

I very much agree, alicia. I always enjoy listening to him in his interviews. He gets better and better and more relaxed. I've had a chance to see Equus and he was very good.

I'm extremely excited about the 7th & 8th HP movies. I'm curious if they will let his hair go longer especially if there's a scene when he gets captured and Hermione puts a hex on his face and he's indistinguishable and Draco can't recognize him. Harry then looks at himself in a mirror and he can't recognize himself either. He should have long hair (he hasn't gotten a haircut in months) and should have a stubble since he hasn't shaved as well. Right? I don't mind if he looks more like his Equus character (with glasses) when he plays Harry later on in the movie (probably the 8th) when he's fighting Voldemort.
