Video: Dan Radcliffe not present for Ron & Hermione's Deathly Hallows kiss
 

Actors Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson participated in new interviews to promote Half-Blood Prince in New York. This segment, conducted by Entertainment Tonight, has Dan stating that he was not present on set during Ron and Hermione's kiss in Deathly Hallows last month, but was off filming scenes in a forest many miles away. The two actors also speak about their futures in acting and education (in Emma's case).

Awesome! Kinda disappointing that Dan isn't in the scene...but that's ok. As long as the kiss is fantastic...Hope they kept the take where Emma pounches on Rupert in!

aww...i bet he's gonna make fun of them if he was there.lol.but isnt harry supposed to be with them during the ron/hermione kissing scene?

haha... a bit disappointed that Dan wasn't there for the kiss (even though in the book he is) but the would have probably burst out laughing!

Hmm, interesting about Dan not being there... Well, at least it gives Ron and Hermione more time to kiss without being interrupted by Harry? But I do like that part... I'm excited to see how they're going to do this kiss.

Noo I wanted Dan to be there. I thought Harry interrupts them? Or am I forgetting something. Man I wish they would quit changing things.

Maybe they just shot the part where the two kiss, and they're filming afterwards, like when Harry interrupts later...? Too bad; it would have been better if he had been there, though.

Ooh! What!! why? Daniel must be in the scene because that the way it goes!! well, There's nothing to do about it!! But I'll be happy if the scene is Awesome!!

They probably just filmed the scene of them kissing (close ups and all that) and then they will film the other things later. I am sure he will be in the scene, just not in the shot of them kissing.

I don't really think I ever pictured Harry being there for the kiss, but I knew he was somewhat near by tho, but I dont remember him seeing it...maybe I should read that part sometime again.

I can care less if he was there or not, as long as Ron and Hermione kiss :P

But isnt Daniel suppose to be there because everything we see is through Harry's eyes?

I am kinda upset dan isnt in the scene because he was in the book!

See, now that's what I'm thinking too. Maybe they just wanted a closed set - just the two of them together. And Dan will be added in later or something.

That's how filming goes :P He wasn't when the kiss was filmed but he is on the scene.

I think they could add Daniel later though.
In one of the many HBP behind the scenes clips, they show them filming DD giving his opening feast speech for HBP. But he was the only one there. I think that's when they edit it all together, and it looks like DD was there in front of all the students, when he really wasn't.
Perhaps that is what they'll do.

Harry is meant to be in the R/Hr kiss scene!!!

They must have changed in the movie where Harry went off to search for horcruxes while this kiss would happen!We never know till we see the final movie!!

how could dan noty be there for the kiss? i hope they didnt change that scene either!! harry is there when they kiss "oi! theres a war going on!" whos gonna say that in the film then? how will they ever stop kissing and save the wizarding world, huh?

Sad that Dan wasn't there. But Dan would have been teasing them if he was there!!!!

in the book he is...but i kind of like the idea of privacy

that was very funny in the book...but in HBP the kiss with ginny was also changed and made private so i guess it makes sense
