Critics and a huge movie site both think that POA will make...........in it's opening week in the US Article:
Hey my name is Tyler and I was looking around at other sites and came across something interesting. It was a list of box office predictions for the new Harry Potter movie, and here's what it listed. It had the new Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as gaining an astounding weekend box office total of 93 million dollars, however some critics seem to think that the young wizard might even make more than that in the US in its opening week. That's not to bad for our beloved hero now is it.

oh wow!!! i can't wait!! i know it will make that much and maybe even more!! I've been dying to see it forever-i've got my tickets for tomorrow at 7pm!!! yay! i cannot wait! i wanted to go earlier but my parents wouldnt let me get out of school-ugh
but i still cannot wait!! omG|!!!!!!!!how much did SS and COS make in the US on opening weekend?? i know it was alot but POA will make even more-can't wait!

93 million???? that's all....
Shrek 2 got like 10.2 million in the box office. I expect Harry Potter to beat Shrek (even though Shrek was a pretty good movie )
but anywayz, I saw Harry Potter POA yesterday, it was an OK movie. I think their should have been a different director for that movie. I like the POA novel better than the movie..but that's just my opinion...Draco is soooooo fine!  | |

I'm gonna see it tomorrow after school. My mom wouldn't let me skip school for it! :/ It would be cool if I could be the first 2 see it in the U.S.A. :sorcerer: I CAN'T WAIT!!

well it made £5.03 million on the 1st day in the UK, that is the highest any film has ever made in the UK on its' opening day, so it'll make so many millions in USA and here....it could break records, it'll go onto the Top 10 highest grossing films of all time list I'm sure!

I'm watching it right after school tomorrow....well not right after school around 3:45 which is an hour later... but we have to get there early to get good seats..we already have tickets!! I can't wait...

I hope POA does break box office receipts the first weekend. It is going up against Shrek2 and it pulled in 80 million dollars so far. I will be seeing it on Saturday. Have to work on Friday. :sorcerer:

Just bought the PoA game for Playstation II and there was a free ticket in it to see PoA. I'm taking my daughter to see it tomorrow at 1:00. I actually asked off work to go. I know I've got it bad.  I suppose I'll see it more than once, it looks like it'll be great. I know I'll love it. My husband is actually going with us to see it. He is more of a Lord of the Ring fan but my love for all that is Harry Potter makes up for it.

i really hope it does good and breaks records. I can't wait im going to go see it tom. at 11:10 and im leaving my house at 945 to get there at 10 cuz i wanna sit by the people i go with cuz man COS i got there 30 min early and it was packed and i had to sit by my self. i cant wait. <3 <3 DRACO<3 <3
