Summary:
Mary-Ann Russon of UrbanWire has released its Four-Part interview with Harry Potter Webmasters, featuring chats with admins from Harry Potter Lexicon, TLC, FictionAlley.org, and DanRadcliffe.com!

Article:

UrbanWire has released its Four-Part interview with Harry Potter Webmasters, featuring chats with Steve Vander Ark of the Harry Potter Lexicon, Melissa Anelli from The Leaky Cauldron, Heidi Tandy of FictionAlley.org and Jenna B. of DanRadcliffe.com.
Here are a few excerpts from the articles. Visit the links to view the individual interview pages preceeding the quotes :

Steve Vender Ark:
Quote:
"...since websites are the perfect way to do a reference source with links, I put the list of books online. Okay, books and magic spells, and then potions. And then, in spite of my intentions not to commit to it, I kept adding lists. So the Lexicon started almost against my better judgment. But I just couldn't help it. First it was just lists. Then the lists became lists of descriptions, then the descriptions became paragraphs, and it just grew and grew."
Melissa Anelli:
Quote:
"The most important things TLC has done are the charity drives. Those have been the most wonderful weeks in the site's history. We've raised $30,000 in just one year, buying thousands and thousands of books for people who need them. It's true magic."
Heidi Tandy:
Quote:
"Well, for a lot of people, it's just another way to discuss the books. That's what it's been for me. Other people like exploring their creativity in a communal format - you can have that community with fanfic, whereas you don't when you're writing on your own. FA is much more than a fanfic site - we have over a million posts discussing the books, the movies, writing, etc."
Jenna .B:
Quote:
"[Dan Radcliffe] has an honest and genuine nature which I think is exceptional, considering the magnitude of his fame and fortune, and yet his character has still been completely untouched and unspoiled. His generosity and kindness are …[superseded] only by his charm and his obvious concern and awareness of the world around him."
Thanks very much to Mary-Ann for featuring all of us in this article!
It is really interesting to read about other webmasters in the HP Community, don't you agree?

I agree.. thats really cool. To see perspective of HP Webmasters and whats its like to have to run a worldwide or even a really good known website. I know it takes a lot of time and effort and I think it must really pay off in the end but you have to keep working at it. Thanks for that FairladyHermione. Yay first to post!
